Rocky Point Cottage

JoshuaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Katie's Family Lakeside Cottage is picturesque and serene, with all the modern amenities. Our group of 4 were up North on an extended family/hunting trip and this was the perfect basecamp set on beautiful St. Froid Lake and just outside of the North Maine Woods. Although, we didn't get a chance to utilize all of the features and amenities available...it has it all, along with maintaining a rustic charm. The bunkhouse with fireplace, porch, tv and vanity was a fun and cozy hang. If you're not familiar with this relatively remote area, Eagle Lake is 5-10 mins away with a little of anything you might need and Fort Kent, ME is roughly half an hour as well. Highly recommend!

Cast Away Grand Lodge….luxury 4 bedroom w/hot tub

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Beth & Mike have definitely gone above and beyond with this place! It’s an absolute beauty with hidden gems in every corner. They even had the sweetest welcoming sign for us at the door, too cute! The beds were very comfortable, access to the ATV trail was very easy to find and I have to say the s’mores by the fire watching the boats go up and down topped it off for me!! Communication was always top notch and Mike & Beth will go the extra mile to help with anything! Much appreciated & again thank you for sharing this beautiful spot with us. Until next time, Jessica, Meghan, Fallon, Regan & Steph

It was a great place to stay near the North Maine Woods. The remoteness was terrific, yet it was still as close to 'town' as you can get in that part of the world.

The Lodge at Exmoor/Rustic Beauty

JimRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We were looking for a place to host several family members coming into town for a wedding and stumbled on this absolute gem of a property. The cabin and associated out buildings are very charming and the natural beauty of the area is worth the price of admission, alone. Everyone enjoyed their stay and had a great time kayaking and fishing in the river. I’d definitely book again for any future visits. Jodi, the host, was always very responsive to my questions.

The 1855 - Grand-Métis

MyleneRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Superb stay that this one, in a cottage as coquettish as it is comfortable, a stone's throw (or a steep descent to be exact) of the majestic river, offering healing and tranquility with all the required amenities offered in a raw and efficient way. Special mention to the bed more than comfortable located in a bright 2nd floor, closest to the trees that rang under the strong winds during our stay, and the freestanding bathtub that adjoins it for a warm water immersion after a walk in the cold rain. We loved the lack of curtains with many windows, not necessary given the place, which added to the communion with the outside. Looking forward to coming back, in all seasons!

Lakeside cabin on beautiful Portage Lake in Maine

DevinRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Needed a last minute place to stay while on a backpacking trip with snowmobiles found this camp and I’ll definitely keep it in mind for future trips, the only thing I could recommend would be a few coat hangers inside the camp for future riders coming thru and also a floor mat for boots to keep the water from the hardwood floors other than that it’s a beautiful camp

Cozy Cottage Retreat

CrystalRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Stephanie, Jim and Jacks were excellent hosts: very friendly and accommodating. The cottage was nice and warm from the wood stove and we felt right at home. The internet/wifi was an issue as referenced in previous reviews; however, Stephanie and Jim, have been working diligently to fix the situation. They were very open to our suggestions/requests which we greatly appreciated. I'm confident they will figure out it soon. Stephanie also went above and beyond as we inadvertently left some clothes in the cottage. She graciously made sure we were able to get them back. Thank you again for a lovely weekend! Crystal
