Casa Muela; perfect for two!

Casa Muela in the grounds of Montes de Perín in southern Spain was completely renovated in 2024 and extremely suitable for two people! It has a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with walk-in shower and nice living room with air conditioning and television. Casa Muela is bright and quiet and has a covered terrace with dining table and seating chairs. You walk straight into the Muela Natural Park and there you can take beautiful long walks. Cartagena is within cycling distance, as is El Portús beach.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Wooden house with one double bedroom, one bedroom with two single beds, kitchen, dining room - living room with sofa bed , bathroom . Outside, a BBQ /dining area, a pergola with hot tub, darts, Ping-Pong table,a large pool and a beautiful garden. The pool is a common space with the owners from May to the end of September It's a great spot to disconnect.

I had a good stay at Caridad’s place. The room was as described, and the bed was fine for a two-night stay. The bathroom was clean, and access to the kitchen made meal prep easy. I also appreciated the free parking in front of the house. Since I needed to work, the desk in the guest room was helpful. The WiFi wasn’t completely stable, as Caridad had mentioned, but I managed with my mobile connection. Caridad was a generous and friendly host, happy to share local tips. Communication was a bit tricky since my Spanish is very limited, but her daughter helped at first, and the rest we managed with Google Translate. Caridad has a lovely dog who barked quite a bit when left alone, which wasn’t ideal for online meetings, but thankfully noise reduction worked well. Overall, a positive experience!

we have stayed at the beautiful Portman Hotel many times & it just gets better! the young staff are so polite & good at their jobs . it was my bday & our room was decorated with bday stuff with a bottle of cava as a gift. the roof top resturant is amazing & again the young staff can't do enough ! we will be back next year ! thanks all at Portman hotel
