I arrived after fighting roundabouts and jungles of highways to a villa in the mountains of Velez Rubio , surrounded by almond plantations , and traditional Spanish homesteads , absolutely stunning. Mary and James both welcomed me with a crisp glass of white and of course Almonds . My room was overlooking the pool garden and hillsides, extremely comfortable. Booked in for dinner cooked by renowned chef James , and impeccable service from Mary . This retreat is a must on the way through to Granada , make sure restaurant is open. I hope to be back some day and will stay for a week...

Everything was correct, the location is excellent and the bed is super comfortable, the only thing was one day that we were tried to open the door(they were a rage trying) at night but I guess they had the wrong door because then I heard the next door close and parking in the blue area and difficult to park so better to pay for the parking!

Very good location, ideal for family holidays

Cozy and Functional Hotel, very nicely decorated. I only spent one night but the stay was very pleasant. The room had a nice balcony facing the outside. The bathroom is spacious and very clean. The room is very nice, with spacious and comfortable beds. With everything you need to prepare coffee or herbal teas, a mini fridge with a cold bottle of water that is appreciated. I recommend it!

We stayed one night last minute stopover at Javier's place. The place is very beautiful and totally isolated, it feels really good to rest! I recommend it, Javier is responsive and we found a very clean room with a beautiful bathroom

This is a unique stay in a unique location. You overlook a beautiful valley full of vines, olive groves, almond trees,... You can spot the eagle and countless other birds. I even saw a group of wild goats climbing the mountain flank from the terrace of this cottage. So bring your binoculars! Ideal for those looking for tranquility, far away from mass tourism and close to nature. Ann is a superhost, always available for smooth communication, always friendly and full of tips. Keep in mind that it is still a bit rough around the cottage because further refinement will be done on the garden. But nevertheless, this is really a top place to spend a quiet vacation!

We were very comfortable and Noelia was very good, she was attentive and gave us advice. The house was clean, very comfortable, cozy, cared for and beautiful, in a quiet neighborhood and well connected to get around by car, with a large Mercadona nearby. Highly recommended if you are going to take trips through the different villages to get to know the region.

Pedro and his son Javier were very nice and attentive at all times. The house was in perfect condition and fully equipped for a weekend with friends.

The house was in perfect condition. Communication with host was great. The host was punctual and attentive at check-in time. We explained the whole area perfectly, offering beach tools even!! In addition to the spaciousness of the house, it has a terrace with barbecue, another terrace, a roof with views and a pool. We had 7 people (2 families) and we had 2 full baths with shower/tub. The host made available to us a set of full sheets, towels and other supplies. The house is in an accessible area. You have restaurants, supermarkets and other services in the area. The beach is 5 mins. There is also dog beach near the sand house to be with your family. The overall experience was perfect, I felt right at home. Would recommend to anyone to book this house.

The great place, we enjoyed the pool despite the weather. Peace of mind, which was what we were looking for. They are super attentive and discreet. We missed a deck, both because of the sun and the rain, but we resolved very well. Recommended to my friends.
