Cottage vacation rentals in Rance

Had a wonderful stay with my husband and little girl. 10min drive to the beach, and lots more beautiful beaches close by. The cottage is very nice, espcially the kitchen area where we spent most of our time when indoors. Lovely patio for eating outside and hot tub and lots of games to play in the garden which was fun as we had good weather. My little girl loved seeing the sheep and chickens. We found many little towns and things to do for day trips. Would recommend - and Sonia was so friendly and helpful!

The cottage is very neat, the equipment is quality. The activities offered are easily usable. Chantal is very attentive to her hosts and is always ready to answer their questions! Quiet and serenite for this weekend with friends . Useful shops are in the immediate vicinity! A stay that met our expectations!

The accommodation is impeccable, very warm with a superb stove, Sandrine is super responsive and attentive. Very peaceful with a beautiful view of the countryside, horses, dogs etc. We would love to come back!

Wonderful three night stay. The loft is very well decorated and functional and extremely clean. The place is quiet, relaxing and yet close to Mont St Michel and other places to visit. Very good and hearty breakfast. Very much appreciated spa. The owners are very welcoming and they gave us very good advice. We recommend without hesitation

Viviane’s place is basic but has everything you need with a personal touch. She greeted us personally and gave great restaurant recommendations. Everything functioned well and a bonus of the sauna and Nordic bath experience. We did hear the visitors next door so if you have sensitive ears bring earplugs ! We walked all the way to Mont Saint Michel, which was about an hour or so, stopping here and there for photos.

We stayed for 2 nights in Marie's cottage. As pictured. The gite is tastefully decorated and very clean. Winter period requires, her husband had prepared a fire before our arrival which was very pleasant. Provide slippers as the floors are cold in the winter. A big favorite for the bedding which is really very comfortable and made us spend very good nights so a very quiet environment.

Would highly recommend a stay here! Cecile and Greg couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was comfortable and Greg’s cookies were absolutely delicious! We loved the peaceful location and the kids really enjoyed the pool and trampoline in the garden. Nearby Dinan is a beautiful town with lots to explore too.

Top 3-day weekend to visit Mont Saint Michel. The house has a magnificent view of Le Mont, the house has its charm and very pleasant. the hosts are lovely people, they gave us lots of instructions to discover the region 😀

Katie, our dog Jesse and I had a lovely peaceful break at Jeanne's cottage. Jeanne provided lots of helpful info about check-in, which was flexible and the local surrounding area for things to do. The house was warm and really well equipped, with lovely dinner sets and a welcome bottle of her local Pommeau de Normandie, which was delicious. The pantry cupboard is well stocked with all the necessities, so you don't need to buy everything in your first shop. The surrounding area both in Normandy and into Brittany, is really pretty, reminds me a lot of Devon in some ways, with big beautiful sandy beaches and rocky coves. Plus, some of the best seafood we've eaten in ages. If you love oysters, you'll love this area. I would love to come back in the spring/summer to experience it in warmer weather and longer evenings, but it was a perfect break in winter, too.

We were received very kindly by Dominique and warmly welcomed. The place was very loving and nicely decorated. The amenities were great.

Great hosts with very nice surprises upon arrival. Very delicious home pancake cider and fresh flowers. Beautiful cottage I would happily recommend. a pleasant week with the sun.

Very pleasant stay, very bright and functional small house with a fine and neat decoration in which you feel really good. Impeccable cleanliness, amenities as advertised and photos. Very nice garden, excellent bedding. Ideally located for enjoying the region, Saint Briac, Saint Lunaire, Saint Malo, Dinard and the wonderful coast; and above all the beautiful beach of Longchamp ideal for discovering and practicing surfing. Soizic and Delphine have created a welcoming and warm environment in a beautiful 17th century longhouse, arranged in the 21st century with care and taste. Everything is perfect, from the hospitality to the house. Surrounded by nature, offering a beautiful view of the hills of romantic Brittany. The insulation offers a very pleasant comfort. Soizic is adorable, welcoming, discreet and available. We regret not having met Delphine who worked on the perfect layout of the premises! It will be for next time. Highly recommended for a getaway in greenery, and not far from the sea!

Maxine was so accommodating even providing toys, games and books for the children. She allowed the children to see her chickens and was very welcoming. The cottage was in such beautiful surroundings. The place was clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thank you Maxine

We had the most amazing stay - the hosts were friendly and helpful and accommodating. The pictures don’t do the house justice, it’s huge and stunning and very clean. We had everything we needed and hope to return.

A very functional accommodation, quiet in the countryside, a perfect place to cut and recharge. Very well located next to shops, supermarket. Great location 15 min from Dinard and 25 min from St Malo. I recommend it

We had a great extended weekend at the Bird House. Isabelle remained available when we needed it. Exceptionally clean space with everything you need to feel at home. Great location, 10 minutes from Dinan, just 30 minutes from Saint Malo. We'll be happy to go back!

Super recommended house! Super comfortable bedrooms (you can completely darken them, nice bedding, good mattress and lots of cozy pillows) and a very cozy, welcoming decor. Good, high quality kitchen equipment, all the basics there and lots of amenities (e.g. water bubbler). Maria was also infinitely helpful. She shared vegetables from her garden and had a lot of good tips for the area. Very quiet area with many hiking opportunities. There is a neighbor on the property, he was very secluded and barely there. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Great for unplugging, completely quiet and very private.
