We spent Christmas at Rodica's place and she made sure that it felt just like home. She managed to decorate for us and the place was spotless. Communication was great and whenever we had an issue or query she was very responsive and went out of her way to accommodate us. We look forward to another stay soon.

Had a lovely stay. Easy self check in and some goodies to welcome us much appreciated. Very quiet location just 5 minute level walk to centre of Bakewell. Quite a few stairs in property but this was expected and not a problem for us. Pamela always very responsive, helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Our short stay at Fox Cottage was amazing. The property is beautiful, spotless and comfortable. The views are spectacular! Andrew was a great host, very responsive and helpful and we really appreciated the very kind welcome hamper! Loads to do and see and there were even toys for our young son to play with! We loved it so much we’ve booked for next year!

Corinne’s place was idyllically situated with beautiful views. The cabin was well equipped although a couple of extra mugs would have been good. Corinne is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful and the welcome goody bag was very thoughtful. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was fabulous. Sitting on the decking in the sun looking out across the countryside was beautiful. I would definitely recommend Corinne’s place. Cleaning could have been more thorough. The kitchen area and bathroom were spotless but there was a lot of dust on ledges and lots of cobwebs which was disappointing. The sofa was also repaired with tape and had dodgy springs. This did not spoil our stay but is worth noting.

We had such a fabulous stay that well and truly exceeded our expectations. This place was the perfect spot for us to kick back, relax, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and re-connect with family. Laura and Ash are such lovely people, perfect hosts, their hospitality went above and beyond and the hot tub was awesome too. I think we've found our new 'bolt hole' when visiting this area again. We will definitely be back!!!

We stayed here for a few days to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our dog Boris. The cottage is beautiful & tastefully decorated with everything you could want or need. Although the cottage is in the centre of the town, it’s on a quiet footpath away from the hustle & bustle so really quiet especially in the small courtyard garden. The breakfast that comes as part of the package was first class & far outweighed our expectations, we will definitely stay here again when we visit this part of the country.

Overall it was fantastic and would recommend staying here for the immediate surroundings. We had fantastic weather for April so we could sit out on the patio and enjoy the view and the kids enjoyed the garden which was big enough to play football and rounders in. The only nitpick we had were the towels provided were very hard and scratchy and after using a lovely bath or shower the towels were not nice to use. So maybe bring your own in case they are not replaced soon. Although this did not affect us as the weather was great. If it did rain a lot and you were stuck in the downstairs lounge or dining area has no view of the lovely lake you can see from outside. There are views from upstairs main bedroom windows though.

Lovely little place half an hour drive from peak district garden is great for dogs and was really secure hut is really small so just keep that in mind and don't overpack Loved the hot tub/fire pit/ BBQ and the weather thankfully held out for us! would stay here again :)

Lovely stay in the peace and quiet. The farm was small and beautiful and waking up next to the spring lambs was a bonus! The lodge is well equipped and clean and Corinne left some treats for us which was a really nice touch.

Overall, the stay was great and comfortable. On the day of check in we did have problems with the heating as we were from India and weather is very different, however it was promptly addressed by the Host and rest of the stay was comfortable. Marlena was always there to help us. We were having a bit of difficulty checking in, but we called her and she helped us with the same. Great location and lots of stores around to grab a meal or just things in general.

We’ve just got back from a long weekend away at the Firs for my bestfriend’s hen do! It was amazing. The house was stunning, completely spotless, and well decorated! It looked even better than the photos when we arrived! Every thing you could need and more in the kitchen (dining stuff/glassware/utensils). There were fresh flowers in a vase on the table when we arrived! Spoke with Andy whilst staying there due to us needing to move some cars around (our mistake) and it was no problem at all, Andy was super friendly and helpful. Bedrooms/bathrooms all clean, along with hot tub and outdoor seating areas! Would recommend it to anyone. And not too far at all from Lincoln! It was perfect and we couldn’t have wished for better! We would love to come back at some point! Also, the new extension was stunning too! Well done and Thank you Andrew! :)

We had a lovely and peaceful two night stay in Damson pod with our 3 year old. From the super comfy beds to the BBQ area (BBQ comes with a bag of charcoal you just need go light - couldn’t be easier) and even meeting Sarah’s charismatic llamas, we had a dreamy stay. While we were in the area we visited Heights of Abraham and Matlock Bath, which were quaint and great for young families. We were sad to leave and would certainly stay again.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. The indoor pool was great. The staff on site were friendly and helpful with lots of great recommendations. The local area is beautiful with lots of great walks and pubs with delicious meals on offer for all the family.

Stayed at Nicola's fabulous home with friends for a long weekend. Nicola doesn't usually rent out her home so you'll see few reviews but it's a high spec and beautiful house with everything we needed. There's a great outdoor space for sitting and dining with a pizza oven, bbq and hot tub. All very peaceful overlooking fields and the pond. Indoors, there's a large open plan kitchen with snug, bar and dining area. The kitchen has a marble worktop so we were asked and did take great care not to have any spillages. Bedrooms were great with 3 double ensuite and one having a separate bathroom next door. Communication was great with some fantastic recommendations for dinner and Sunday lunch (The Cow at Dalbury and Sycamore Inn at Parwich respectively). We did struggle to get taxis for dinner but Uber did cover the village. A lovely rural area with options for some walking direct from the house. A great house with a great host and would thoroughly recommend. Thanks for letting us stay.

We stayed at Carol’s place as a halfway meeting point for our family who are located across the country and it was the perfect find for a weekend of spending time together cooking and getting out for walks and a pint in the beautiful local country side. Carol’s place was absolutely beautiful, sparkling clean, decorated to perfection and with everything you could wish for and more. The facilities were amazing and the stay included absolutely everything we could have ever needed. Carol and her husband were on hand for anything that we needed and were keen to ensure we had a brilliant stay - they were so helpful & friendly and absolutely wonderful hosts. We are already planning our next stay at Carol’s place and would whole heartedly recommend to anyone considering making a booking. Thank you so much, Carol, for a wonderful family weekend.

2nd time staying at Katie’s. Really responsive and the cabin was beautiful. Lovely new kitchen, bathroom and spacious bedrooms. The living room was a good size with a large table. Hot tub outside with a view of the fields with horses in and a small lake to the side of the cabin with ducks. We booked some spa treatments which were great for a girls weekend, we had head massage, facial, back massage and body wrap / scrub, the lady that did them was lovely. Really peaceful place and will deffo being staying again for another girls trip, we all loved it. Great that you can also check in at 14:00 so you get pretty much a full day.

Highly recommended! Beautiful cottages and location, perfect for our group holiday. The kitchens were equipped with all we needed, the accommodations had great showers and comfortable beds. 2 friends and I booked Hannah's place for a relaxing girl getaway and it didn't disappoint. The cabins location was beautiful and peaceful - we loved the view from the hot tub each day. The cabin itself had everything we needed with extras we weren't even expecting including milk, orange juice, coffee pods, tea and even a bottle of fizz! Hannah recommended the Bluebell pub which was only a short walk away - the food was gorgeous with a great selection of drinks. Overall we had a brilliant time at Hannah's place and would recommend it to friends and family. Thank you Hannah xx

thank you hosts for being so responsive, for answering all my questions and requests with patience :) my family enjoyed their time there. my only nitpick would be some kitchen utensils were a bit dusty / dirty, and there was no hooks in the bathroom, which made it a bit difficult to hang up clothing. other than that, everything was as advertised and we had a fantastic and memorable stay.
