Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Raleigh County

We stayed one night in Mellow Yellow on our way to NC. It was the perfect size for my 10 y/o and myself. We loved the 60’s decor! Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean! We would absolutely stay here again!

Place was clean and as described. It's set back in a secluded neighborhood down in a gully, but it's only about 5 minutes from WV19 and I had no issues getting to the Gorge, Beckley, etc. Everyone in the neighborhood seemed to mind their own business and it was dead quiet after 8 or 9 p.m. except for the occasional dog barking somewhere off in the distance.

We stayed in the shed and it was nice and we loved the location and Mullins is right up the road and it was perfectly set and made up I will be staying there again for sure. The host was very responsive and quick to help. 5 dates from me !

We’ve been staying at this “small house” as my two year old calls it. And we love it every trip! Thank you, for being such a great host!

The home was suitable for our needs as we were in town for a wedding. Everything appeared to be clean and tidy. The only thing that stood out was the photos look nicer than in person as the home felt a bit dated...but nonetheless, if you're looking for a convenient and clean stay in the area than this is a good option.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house was clean, quiet, and perfect for our 2 night stay. We were close enough to stores to get any supplies we needed. Philip and Christina were quick to respond and made checking in and out an easy experience. Would recommend to anyone needed a place to stay in the area.

Christine's place was such a peaceful home for a getaway. The home was well-appointed and cared for, and was walkable to the downtown Hinton area's restaurants and shops. The home was just as advertised and was very clean and comfortable! Christine was a great host who sent helpful messages and has a guestbook with great tips on what to see/where to visit in the area. She had a crate for our pup, along with treats/toys/poop-bags/food bowls, etc. which made it easy for him to settle in and relax in a new place. I'd definitely recommend the home to others traveling in the area!

Beautiful and cozy cabin right on the river. The deer literally lead us to the door.

It is a super small camper, and has very little space for walking around, had a nice TV and two bunks for little kids, not much space, but great for going sleeping. We did a lot of activities at Pipestem and there is a large pool at the area where the camper is, however, it was so cold, not one person could swim. It is well worth your money, if all you want is a nice porch to sit on, a picnic table, large grill and fire pit. It is really too small to accommodate more than 2 adults and 2 small children.

Absolutely stunning! When you open the door, it gives you the wow feeling. Would definitely recommend this and will be returning.

I cannot put into words how great this stay was! The place is perfectly situated, super clean and welcoming, and completely stocked with anything you would ever need! I had a fantastic time staying there and would recommend it to everyone! I will be back, guaranteed! Thank you guys so much!

Brooke was quick to respond, easy check in . We booked last minute with no issues. Sam the property manager was great with suggestions for places to visit. This cabin is warm and cozy, perfect for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend staying here.

Second time we stayed here. We love it and will definitely will be coming back. Debbie’s home is wonderful and checks all the boxes. Clean, spacious, stocked with everything you need from cooking to forgetting shampoo. You can tell she takes pride in hosting and it shows! From the treat basket to the treats for the pups. Very quick response on the messaging app also. All in all I would recommend 100 times over and will always be our 1st pick! 10/10 will be booking again.

Carolyn was wonderful. The cabin is very private but a close drive to Pipestem and Blue Stone State Park. We forgot our iPad and phone charger when we checked out and Carolyn called and messaged us immediately and made arrangements for us to go back and pick them up. This is our second stay in Carolyn’s rentals and I highly recommend her as a host and the property. We had a great stay.

Specious, clean, and comfortable. Great location with easy access to attractions without being right in the middle of them. Perfect for a family. Easy check-in and check out. Very responsive host.

My only suggestion and I don’t really even know how to word it.. I had no idea how many people it could “sleep.” People should know that you could sleep quite a few people there. I don’t think it would be fun to hang out with as many people inside of the house, it’s not huge and not for that. There are so many amazing paths for walking and exploring! We had a GREAT time! Thank You!

Everything was great. All beds and furniture were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. The garage was great to have for machine storage and riding close storage (many hooks provided that hold helmets along with pants and shirts. Great host. If staying in the area again I'll be booking here.

Living the dream! Rick’s place is fantastic. Situated right on the hill it felt private yet communal, and had an amazing view. A prime location for everything the area has to offer. On top of that, the space was cozy and had everything we needed, and Rick could not have been nicer or more accommodating if he tried! I’ll certainly be booking again next time I return

Cute and cozy house in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood! We loved being so close to New River Gorge National Park and used this house as a home base to leave for hiking each day. Well equipped kitchen, very comfy bed, and a living room very conducive to movie watching! We also loved reading in the sun on the back deck.
