The cabins at pine haven are the perfect getaway if you would like some peace and quiet among beautiful surroundings all while being close enough to stores to get supplies without going too far.

Absolutely beautiful cottage! Nice and clean, comfortable bed, nice smelling, and everything worked and was available as described. Hosts were responsive to communications. Highly recommended!

An amazing property. Very peaceful. Hot tub A+. Heating stove in living room was very effective and nice to quickly warm up inside after a night time hot tub soak on the patio. Easy access to all directions and in the gorge. Friendly check in. The only ‘issue’ was the comfort of the mattress, but that’s a personal detail/preference and very hard to please every single person. Our second stay at The Black Bear Lodge! Spacious and inviting, with plenty of space for a family gathering. Good kitchen that you can cook for a crowd in. Feels like you’re in a very secluded spot, but only 30 min drive to good groceries and other stores in Princeton. Hope to stay again!

Brooke was quick to respond, easy check in . We booked last minute with no issues. Sam the property manager was great with suggestions for places to visit. This cabin is warm and cozy, perfect for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at Stephanie's place. It was clearly set-up for people coming to ride on the Hatfield McCoy trails and it did not disappoint. The location was great for us to set off exploring each day. The garage had plenty of room for us to pull our URVs in each night and the parking area was plenty big enough for 2 trucks and trailers. Plenty of room inside and out. The kids enjoyed the pool table and it was a great area to hang out after a long day on the trails. The only issue we had was a minor miscommunication about toilet paper. We thought it was supplied and it was not....so make sure you bring your own. Aside from that everything was perfect and we definitely plan on a return visit!!

We loved The Shack! it was just right. the house, deck and fenced in yard were great. the shed with pool table was fun too. super convenient to white water rafting and the gorge hiking. oak hill seems sleepy, but try the bakery and cafe restaurant. they have some good stuff!

we had a great 2 night stay. it is near the road but so close to bluestone lake state park and Pipestem. we enjoyed our stay and loved that it was dog friendly.

Cozy and comfortable place. Directions were perfect. There’s a sign at the gate showing where to turn. Access was easy. The house was welcoming with all the comforts of home. Sitting on the covered porch in the evening was a real treat.

Thus small house worked perfectly for us for a weekend trip. it was clean and off the busy roads. it was nice to be able to have our pups along with us. Thank you for a great stay.

We had a very peaceful stay at the cabin over a long weekend. We were able to relax around the campfire at night and take in the star gazing. We made our way to camp creek state park as well as new river gorge national park over the weekend which were unbelievable! The previously reported water pressure issues seem to have been resolved. We would definitely recommend this location and would love to come back in the future.

2nd time staying here! Love the house, quite and private setting, close to the trails, fuel right down the hill.

Cabin was amazing for our large group (26 total), super comfortable and clean. Location is great, also covered porches on front and back help to spread folks around too, great for socializing. Highly recommend and plan to return again next year!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was very close to town and close to the trail head. The town seems to be growing, which is great to see! Check in/ out were a breeze! The other cabins are close but not too close, so you still get some privacy. And there was plenty of room for everyone to get their trailers in and out. Thank you for a great stay!

The place was very homey and inviting. It was Easter weekend and little treats were left out for us which was really nice. It was also decorated for Easter which was fun. The bathroom is tiny and the only mirror in the place is in the bathroom but we made it work. I’m really glad we found this place for the weekend.

The spacious living room, complete with a fireplace, was perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze, and the dining area comfortably accommodated our family. Each bedroom was comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring restful nights. Located right of the mountain ski lifts, we couldn't have asked for a better spot. Our host was incredibly accommodating, making us feel right at home. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return! Highly recommended for families!
