Landon was a great host. Extremely proactive with information and very easy to communicate with. The home is such a cute little spot and concept. Could use a little TLC and updating but still adorable and by no means affected our enjoyment. I image fall and spring would be especially lovely.

Everything was as described. Very clean and comfortable.

It was a fantastic stay! Cute cozy cabin with great views along the way and lots to do around the area. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the Blue Ridge, it’s close and accessible. Kristy was a great and responsive host. She was flexible with check out time which was much appreciated!

Very clean older home nicely updated while keeping the history of the original. Well kitted country kitchen nice quality dish and heavy duty silver ware. (Don't you hate flimsy forks?) Accessible first floor bath with walk-in shower. Grandchildren loved the yard, the stairs (they have never lived in a two story house) and the knee wall closets were great imaginary homes, stores or hiding places. The weather was miserably cold which precluded us from walking some trails, necessitating an earlier check in. Our host gave us the code one hour early to get the children out of the cold. The house is warm and inviting the minute you walk in. Quality linens and plenty of games and room for our tribe of 6.

Great place to stay and great location to Roanoke

Very beautiful secluded place in the mountains. This was our halfway stopping point during our travel destination to Florida. There was quite the ice storm when we stayed, so we shopped and loaded up on snacks, breakfast and dinner preparations the night we arrived and spent the entire next day there playing Monopoly, watching movies, and thoroughly enjoying family time together before leaving the next morning. The dining area table has been newly upgraded since the pictures shown here, it's modern, sturdy and so nice!! Perfect for our family of 5 to play games and enjoy meals, with plenty of room to spare. Everything was so cozy, beautiful and perfect. I'll forever cherish the memories we made while visiting The Little Red Barn!! *Beautiful views, love the large windows *Very clean, had everything we needed *Private, secluded *We didn't get to get use the deck this trip, but it's great!!

My fiancé and I stayed in Red Bud with our little dog for 6 nights and loved it so much! The view was incredible and we enjoyed how quiet our surroundings were. Having a cup of coffee on the porch every morning was like a dream. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. We were surprised because it had everything we needed plus more! Most cabins are bare bones but not this. Also if you are someone in need of internet, the internet was perfect and gave us no trouble. We also arrived at night and it was of course very dark, I messaged Rich to help us get to the cabin and he called me and stayed on the phone with us until we were there, which was super appreciated. As far as activity recommendations, the immediate area is pretty remote, but we drove one day (about 40 mins maybe?) to Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory (short but very pretty hike!) and then went to the Cheese ‘n More Store for a sandwich after. The perfect day trip! Both are worth the drive/visit. We will be back!

Mother Earth Yurt was a perfect place to celebrate my husband’s birthday It was magical, whimsical, and so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed every moment.

Was a clean and cozy house and had everything that we needed. Loved the location and would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and the house was very homey. The backyard mountain view was lovely to unwind and look at. A few restaurants were close by, Princeton is 15 mins. and has plenty more - including our Catholic Church (Sacred Heart) to attend Sunday mass. W. Virginians are extremely friendly and kind, service oriented. I liked the fact that there were only about 8 channels available - definitely back in time where you had limited TV channels! But we were so active daily, and so tired at night, we didn't really watch much -- BUT -- WV is a place to get outside - we did ski at Snow Place (so much fun - 30 min. drive) and did take in a hike at Pipestem Park down the road (15 min.) Bed was very comfortable. Three dinette areas, so lots of areas eat and/or setup laptops. Our 2 standard poodles loved it too! Of course, Elvis in almost every room made it heavenly for me!
