This is why we wanted to go to airbnb's in New Zealand. Their hosting is so fun, Matt and Anna are such a wonderful couple and so proactive with all the recommendations. The apartment is lovely, awesome kitchen that you want to cook in, comfy bed, very pristine shower and spacious. There is wonderful garden views, their place is just 100% Their dogs are so cute it was amazing Thank you for your wonderful hosting 💜

A beautiful spot surrounded by NZ bush and birdlife with amazing views across the water. The house itself is great – very clean, with everything you need. Adam has done a great job of upgrading the property to an Airbnb without losing the charm of a Kiwi bach. The outdoor bath is fun, and filling and heating it adds to the experience. The driveway is steep in parts but our 2WD had no problems. Communication with Adam was prompt and helpful.

Nedda is an amazing host and her place is very comfy and clean. For the area, our group found her place the most affordable! The place was well-equipped and the notes around the house were thoughtful and sweet. The late checkout of 11:00am and the massive smart tv was a plus too!

This is such a beautifully designed and perfect retreat. I appreciate when attention has been given to design and detail, and this place has it all. Gorgeous view, lovely retreat. The stairs are no problem for anyone even moderately fit, and the bonus is the seclusion and the view below. Highest recommendation.

Shevaun's place was so clean and comfortable, with many thoughtful extras provided. We were welcomed so well - with the lights on when we arrived, a welcome message on the fridge and a complimentary bottle of wine. It was a great shower, comfy bed, and peaceful and private. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely choose the Sunset Cottage again. Thank you Shevaun.

What an incredible place! Fantastic location across the road from the botanic gardens and very easy to walk into town. The house itself was spotless, modern and had everything we might’ve needed. The decking area at the back was wonderful too. The beds were both very comfortable and it was lovely and quiet so we all slept well. The washing machine and dryer were a very welcome bonus - and the kids loved watching the dryer migrate across the decking when the washing machine was spinning! Thank you Annette and Eduard for a wonderful stay.

We had a very comfortable stay. Everything was as described and we particularly appreciated the comfortable bed, good shower and water pressure. Inez also left us some tasty snacks which we appreciated after a long trip. The kitchen is well supplied for home cooking or just snacking. The garden is very peaceful too. We would recommend this cozy little retreat for a quiet and peaceful stay.

Karryn's place was great. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The views to the ocean were great. Everything was clean. It was an easy 15 minute walk into the centre of town. The parking space was easy to use and there were even push bikes available if you wanted to venture a little further afield. I would have no hesitation staying at this place again

Cathy and I have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs, and Trudy’s is one of the very best! She is supremely helpful and has created a true paradise, from the exquisite garden terrace overlooking Nelson‘s river; to the spacious, tasteful interior; to the stocking of the apartment with everything you’ll need for a great stay. Trudy has overlooked nothing, and has created a fantastic base for exploring the great city of Nelson and beyond — right across from a beautiful city park and museum cafe; within walkable distance to other great coffee shops and restaurants; on the doorstep of the city’s popular river walk; and within easy striking distance of Pelorus Bridge Scenic Reserve and Abel Tasman National Park. And don’t forget the city’s Saturday market, one of the best you’ll see in NZ. Thanks for a wonderful stay Trudy!

We loved Meredith's place. It was spotless with homely and artistic touches throughout. We didn't want for anything. Super central location, easy walking distance to so many lovely spots to eat, drink, shop and wander. Comfy beds, cosy living spaces, full self-catering supplies, music and books aplenty. We could easily have stayed the week!
