Vacation rentals with lake access in Putnam County

Jeff & Jill's lake house is very cozy and peaceful and has great views of the lake. It's about a 5-10 min walk down to the lake (just down the paved road). All the kitchen appliances/laundry worked great. Loved the fire pit. We all enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again! Highly recommend checking out "Canoe the Caney" for kayak/canoe rentals. Call them beforehand (or go on their website) to set something up (especially in the off season). We got two tandem kayaks for a couple hours and each paid about $50. They dropped us off and picked us back up, and we were the only ones out there (Mid November). Worth every penny. Some things to note: I will say, if you're renting a car, try and get something with four wheel drive, or an SUV. We rented a Kia sedan and it had some trouble on the bumpy/rocky roads driving up to the property. The sliding barn doors on the two bathrooms and bedrooms aren't great for privacy, so just keep that in mind if that's something you're looking for.

This was an absolutely beautiful area. Tennessee roads can be a bit narrow so take your time getting down there but so worth it. The cabin was comfortable and had great windows facing the lake.

Beautiful place, my family had a wonderful stay!

A little difficult to find even with instructions--truly "nestled" in woods. That said the views of the lake and hills were beautiful even with most of leaves off the trees! Able to walk to lake and playground for kids. House was very clean and many little touches anticipating any person's need. Good kitchen supplies and some baking supplies provided (which were needed!) Thank you! Beds were comfortable, but one king was saggy on one side. Needed more toilet paper at end of stay, but called host and she told us how to find more. Had a wonderful time there with all of our children and their families for Thanksgiving and made many happy memories!

I can’t get over how much I fell in love with this place! Where we live there are no cliffs and hills so driving in scared me a bit. However, the host was so patient and kind when I got a little lost and I called to ask for directions on how to find the place. I came into town to visit family and needed a place that was relaxing to also be able to work a little bit. This was the perfect place to do it! I can’t wait to come back. Recommended to all!

My family spent the Thanksgiving holiday at the Treehouse and it was perfect for making core memories. After stopping at the Publix en route from BNA for groceries, we found the kitchen to have all the cooking supplies we needed to make our meals. It was central to the bigger cities of Nashville and Chattanooga, and we got a great little family friendly hike in at Burgess Falls. We enjoyed the sweet little trail tucked on the property and took in the sunset views and fall colors from the hot tub and fire pit on the deck. Definitely recommend for a low key family trip.

This stay was amazing! The home was almost exact as photos, fully stocked with necessities, and perfect for a family. Debbie was a great host!

The location& house was beautiful, but we weren’t aware the 2nd master was disconnected from the rest of the house so that was a little disappointing. Also,the drive to get to the house is a little scary & that’s not the adventurous way,so it was kinda nerve wrecking leaving and coming back,but other than that the water area was absolutely breathtaking,as well as the view from the porch. Just wish description was a little clearer.
