Cabin vacation rentals in Putnam County

This was our 2nd trip to Salt Lake Springs and we were excited to know that Sherrie's cabin was available for the dates we were visiting! This was our 2nd stay at Sherrie's cabin and we must say, it felt like home. Sherrie is a great host and as our trip got closer, Sherrie kept in touch with us to make sure we had a smooth check-in. The cabin was clean and had all the items needed to make sure we were comfortable and relaxed during our stay. The view of the Lake and sunset from the cabin is just impeccable. It's very close to all the springs and hiking trails in the Ocala Forest. We will definitely stay here again and again. Ocala Forest is one of our favorite places and staying in Sherrie's cabin makes it even better. See you again soon! Willie and Debbie

A little overpriced but fun room accurately described as upscale glamping. Fridge didn’t work and wasn’t cleaned but bed was comfortable. That half bath is really small. If you like adventure, you’ll like this.

Fit the profile of the stay and what you need for a nice evening to relax I wish they had Internet would’ve made things a little bit better, but all in all great place

We found this location as we were needing to evacuate the Tampa area ahead of hurricane Milton. Our host was very friendly, accommodating, and hospitable!

The onsite manager, Catherine, was awesome! Cabin was super cute and very, very clean and cosy. Highly recommend!

Mr Griffin was awesome and the cabin was great. He was very accommodating and quick to respond. This was a last minute trip for me and my two sons and we couldn’t have been happier with the hospitality. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay! Very close to the boat slip and was also near our family and friends. The interior living room had nice furnishings with a retro vibe. Nice TV and good Wi-Fi, which was essential for us. The screened porch was much bigger than we anticipated and the refrigerator was great! Thanks Lisa! We will be back in touch when we are in the area!

Perfect to reconnect with nature , the cabin is very cozy and hosts are super nice . I will definitely come back .

The whole family loved our stay. The guest house cabin was rustic and very clean, in very peaceful location nestled among other houses, but on large tracts of land. Beautiful east-facing view of Lake Broward, so you can see the sun rise over the lake every morning. Able to view wildlife. Watched about a dozen turkeys one morning down by the lake. Saw Sandhill Cranes and heard them calling several times. Very nice boat and fishing dock. My son and I caught bass, bream, and catfish all from the dock. Hosts were very kind and friendly. The night we arrived, we had a problem with the toilet flushing. Not a big deal, but we went out the next day and they had fixed it by the time we returned. Overall, wonderful stay. Would do it again!

Wonderful place. We had a family event over the weekend we stayed. Plenty of space without feeling cramped. Bryan went the extra steps to make the event even better. Comfortable beds and fantastic porch. Outdoor activities were a hit as well!

A great place to go and decompress from a hectic life. Exactly as described, and it was just what we were looking for. We will be back and would not hesitate to recommend it, if you are just a little bit adventurous there is so much to see here. Thanks Andy and Monica.

The A frame is a great home for quiet relaxation. We were going kayaking at silver springs and it was an easy drive. We had a great two days there. I'm 64, and broke my leg in two p!aces, two years ago. The stairs to get to the upstairs are the steepest stairs i've had to climb to get to a bedroom. I imagine the home was built for guests younger than me.

Very quick to respond to our messages. He was able to accommodate us at that last minute due to our other place getting tornado damage. The cabin was so peaceful and had everything we needed. Hope to stay again longer next time.

Great place for a couple of people right in the middle of the forest close to atv trails

I needed a nice, quiet place to get some writing done. This place was great and cozy. Also, got to see plenty of turkeys and deer, which was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

I can’t say nough about Roy as a host. He made some exceptions to accommodate me as I was evacuating Milton and could not find anywhere to stay! Because of the storm. There were some plumbing issues and Roy graciously allowed me access to his own home. He placed sandbags, checked in on me, provided he with some first aid supplies I needed, and he allowed me to park my vehicle under his house. Forever grateful for his hospitality and compassion. 🩷
