Vacation rentals in Purwoharjo

We rented a room at the Turtle lodge. Very comfortable bed, aircon worked well, great shower, and plenty of nice places to sit around the lodge. We came for a few days of relaxation which was perfect. The staff are all incredibly nice and friendly. We visited the beach every day, the closest beach is 5 minutes walk away but is slightly challenging to swim in. You are often however the only people on the beach which is nice. Green Bay can be visited by renting a scooter from the lodge ($10 per day), which is nicer and calmer to swim. Plus it has a waterfall on the beach. This beach is a lot busier, and is also in the national park which we needed to pay $20 per person to enter. So there are upsides and downsides to each beach :) We didn’t do the sea turtle tour, for us it was a bit too pricey $160pp per night. Overall the stay at the lodge was great, as was the restaurant, and Poer Hadi was a friendly and helpful host.

Beautiful location, and the space is creative and comfortable. There is not a lot to do at the Airbnb site, but there are nearby activities.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. The house is beautiful, the welcome very warm. The food was delicious. You can rent a scooter. The region is very different from other places in Bali, very much quieter, the people are nicer. We would come back to stay. We were also there to work, the internet was very stable. Thank you for everything.

Nice and spacious house, clean & comfy. The host is friendly. Worth the price. Good place to stay near Gilimanuk (approx 30 min from Gilimanuk)

The location directly on the beach is simply fantastic – you wake up to the sound of the waves and look directly at the sea from the bed or the terrace. From the cabana you have a direct and private access to the beach. The beach itself is occasionally used by locals for fishing, otherwise you have it mostly to yourself. The place was clean and had everything we needed for a few days in Bali. A big thank you goes to Alex, who always had an open ear on site and made our stay super pleasant with his warm and helpful manner. Whether it was about tips for excursions, massages or small wishes, Alex was always there and helped us. The owner Hermann also deserves special praise. His hospitality and helpfulness was great and everything worked flawlessly and uncomplicatedly. Another positive aspect was the breakfast Alex brought every morning. Just great!

It was a wonderful week. At first we planned to spend only 4 days in this house, but the way the girl who takes care of the house took care of us made us feel cared for and cozy. We liked it so much that we stayed for another 3 days. She was the best assistant in all matters and helped with everything. Many thanks to the owners of the house and the girl Mila for this vacation. The house is really nice, we lived in a huge room with an exit to the courtyard, right to the pool. We had a large kitchen with many tools and utensils. Everything was gorgeous.
