We really enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful apartment with fantastic views. It was ideal for the five of us with a pleasant kitchen and dining room and comfortable decking area. It was well located with just a 10 minute walk to the walking path to Paihia or the car ferry to Okiato. A very nice spot.

Modern spacious bach with contemporary styling and comfortable furniture. Well equipped kitchen and lovely big dining table for eating and games playing. Two outdoor areas for eating/sitting at different times of the day as well and a pretty garden. Situated in a gated park with lovely planting and walkways towards the beach. We enjoyed the table tennis table in the garage and use of the communal tennis court. Adjacent to very pleasant walks through the bush to Whale Bay and around the headland back to Matapouri Bay. The walk to the beach is a good 7-10 minutes but it's a flat and quiet route. None of these properties are fenced so maybe wouldn't be a great choice with a toddler but for us with older children, it was perfect for our family weekend away.

Had a great stay at this Airbnb! The location was super convenient, close to shops and the beach, and everything was spotless. Loved having two kitchens—really handy! The outdoor area was a nice bonus, perfect for relaxing. The only thing to note is that there’s no air conditioning, so it can get warm on sunny days. But we spent most of our time at the beach, and Owen made sure there were fans in every corner of the house, which was really helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

We felt rather guilty to occupy your whole place with just 2 of us, since it’s clearly perfect for a whole family, but it was exactly what we wanted for a relaxing stay. Sharon was very friendly and attentive to our every need. We had an incredible time. Love the ocean views and walks on the beach.

Fabulous Hosts and amazing property. Enjoying the views with our family and connecting with the surroundings was fantastic. Stunning place and part of the world. Enjoyed the private rock beach below and the surroundings and small marina town of Tutukaka. Sharon and Phillip were the best hosts and were proactive in ensuring we had a great time and made it easy and accessible to reach out to them if we needed help or more information. The early morning espresso coffee maker machine was brilliant for that great “cup of Joe” to enjoy on the panoramic deck!! Accommodations were spotless and furniture and kitchen supplies covered all our needs. Thanks for a wonderful time and memories we won’t forget.😊

A very clean and tidy place with all amenities required for a comfortable stay. Good view from the house. Within walking distance of the town centre and the beach. Should have proper charging points by the beds though, that's the only suggestion.

Marg and Jan's place is in a beautiful surrounding. They were very friendly and happy to help out when required. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The pool is a great assess even though we didn't make a lot of use of it. Overall a great place to stay with many beautiful places in the area to explore.

We had an amazing stay! Penelope and Malcolm made us feel welcome from the start, and the space was spotless and cozy. We especially loved the views from our room! The location was perfect—peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to explore. We highly recommend this place, and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Fantastic location, property as described and perfect hosts, what more could you ask for, nothing, just the weather, and that was perfect too. The accommodation was just right for us and our two grandsons, 12 & 14 for our 3 night visit to the area. Russell & Michelle met us on our arrival and made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable in the surroundings. The accommodation was just right for that perfect sunset too, and we did get a photo or two. Local services were all good, takeaway food and eat in restaurants plus a new Four Square at Marsden Marina, only 5 min drive away. All in all we had a great time at Harbourside Getaway and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. Many thanks to Russell & Michelle.
