The place is beautiful and very lovingly furnished. It is located in the middle of the countryside with great views of nature. We could watch the sloths and monkeys from the terrace. It is quiet, safe and all destinations in Puerto Viejo are easily accessible. The apartment is well divided, very clean and there is everything you need. If you have any questions, there is also a very nice contact person on site. Highlight of the apartment is the beautiful terrace and the practical kitchen. We felt very comfortable all around, it was like coming home. We highly recommend the place for a nice stay in Puerto Viejo and will definitely come back. Thank you for the wonderful week!

We loved our time here. Jessica, mile and Maia are all fun, lovely and helpful. The space is clean, cozy, and accommodating with modern flares including a projector and screen if you’ve worn your self out in nature and just want to veg out. The hosts had great recommendations on things to do in the area and the location is perfect for relaxing or a short drive to a busier atmosphere. Mike runs a tour service too so you can easily book directly with him while there. When we head back to this area we will definitely stay here again! We feel we found friends, along with a perfect home away from home.

Villa Africana Luna is a beautiful place. Everything was clean and in order. Amazing pool. Check in was easy. Denver is a great host. Very friendly and communicative.

We enjoyed a few days in the beautiful paradise. Everything was very good and despite the fact that every day it rained, every day there was sun and the Caribbean environment was infected within the forest by the sea. There are no words to describe what it feels like to be in the jungle window where Morpho butterflies, toucans and all kinds of birds, monkeys, loras, lapas, guatuzas and everything you can't imagine. Lazy people are a specialty. Places like that arouse hope and La Paz interior. Thank you thank you thank you thank you! On the other hand one is also close to everything with amenities. If you love to make a little silence, hear your inner voice in harmony with nature and it is the best part of life. The place is very cute. One could make some suggestions, but for me, I prefer it as it is. Something to stand out over anything, I came across the best quality of human beings, generous, full of ideas and projects, open and full of wisdom. We want to come back!!!

A very peaceful stay! Manu and Lucas were great! Responsive, very friendly, helpful, attentive, they are really good people. Very nice, they provided me with what I needed and even full of bananas, it was generous attention. The accommodation is very good in the middle of nature and close to the beach. I could see lots of animals: iguana, toucan, monkey, and other beautiful bird species. I opted for this place to do tv-work and it was really a quiet place to work (good connection, ample space, adequate equipment and especially beautiful place). Thanks again to them, I had a great time with Manu and Lucas. I would recommned this property.

We really liked it, we recommend bears, they were very kind to us and it is a nice house to spend a few days visiting beaches, if you have a car you can come and go with extreme ease but if not also some beaches are very close and it is a short and pleasant caminta, perfect for rest.

My family and I really liked this home. Spacious for 4 people, had all the things we needed, accessible to Cahuita Centro, and more. will definitely book this when we fund ourselves back here.

I cannot say enough about this place. It is beautiful, comfortable, clean, close to the beach, and close to the town. Actually, the beach is steps away, less than a 1-minute walk. And it is an incredible beach, more serene and more beautiful than the others we went to. The interior design of the house is super-cool, and the home is equipped with all the amenities anyone could possibly want. (Towels by Kenneth Cole, appliances by Frigidaire. Everything is really nice.) Outside there is a beautiful big lawn with many impressive tropical trees. It is a great place - comfortable, relaxing and beautiful. I highly recommend it. Maythemi is wonderful - attentive, friendly, and welcoming.

A nice house, well laid out with the patio/dining area overlooking the back yard. Big kitchen for preparing meals and has everything you need, but could use a microwave oven for quick heating. Lots of available parking, especially since we a had a large vehicle. We would definitely stay here again. Pura Vida!

Amazing location just a stones throw from the beautiful Punta Uva beach, and walking distance to other great beaches. The house is rustic and fits into its surroundings. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle and crashing of the waves.

Beautiful place in Playa Negra. Quiet but still very accessible to everything. The house is gorgeous and felt really spacious with 3 people. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful five night stay in the thick of Punta Uva. It is rustic cabin living but intentionally and gloriously so. The focus is on the location, which is jungle meets beach. We existed with the howler monkeys and sloths as well as the shorebirds concurrently. The agoutis ate breakfast with us. The macaws screech overhead. The people at the beach, while noticeably more numerous than ten years ago, are still relatively few. If you are self-sufficient, read all of the suggestions, and follow the house rules your stay will be as wonderful and seamless as mine was.

This place was amazing. I extended my stay because I loved it so much! The bed was the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. The location was great, a short walk to get groceries or eat out! The apartment was very quiet and a beautiful short stroll to the beach. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely place. The landscaping is extraordinary and it was so beautiful we spent several days just staying at the house. The hotel next-door was a bonus as it had a bar restaurant where we could order drinks and food and have them delivered to the beach. the beach was empty, but you could walk a mile and either direction to go to a busier beach with beach bars and restaurants. Had a bit of an issue with the pool at one point, but Utopía Caribe, the property manager, was very attentive and remedied the problem to our satisfaction. If you're going to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, rent this house.

A great place to disconnect from everyday life. Easy beach access. Good location to go to Puerto Viejo or Manzanillo. Definitely a place to go back to.
