Villa Julio was great. The property managers with Rise were very helpful and friendly. Especially Fabian, who greeted us on arrival. We had a wonderful time spotting wildlife from the deck every day. We saw and heard howler monkeys every day, spotted an iguana in the tree, as well as a sloth. We rented bikes for our time there and were able to get wherever we needed to go.

Truly a magical stay. The openness of the upper level allowed us to experience the outdoors & the beautiful sounds of nature while still feeling very private. The house was well stocked with everything we needed.

If you ever dream to wake up with the sound of the jungle around you this is your place. A small cozy house surrounded by trees. We spotted different animals during our short stay (monkeys, birds, and others) The space is little far from the “main” beaches but is worth it due to the privacy. The front deck is perfect for just sit down and appreciate the peacefulness of nature.

Great location, convenient to Cahuita & Puerto Viejo. Great value for a whole house with a private pool and beautiful outdoor living space. We watched capuchins playing above the backyard and a toucan perched above the house one morning and we heard howler monkeys, as well. Check in was a little tricky because you have to meet the manager, Yordi, at the home for check-in, but he was very responsive to texts and was good to work with. The home had everything we needed. Water pressure was very poor in the master shower, but was great in the 2nd bath, so we just used that one. We loved the European style bedding. Thanks for a lovely stay.

It felt like we were living inside a nature documentary—in the best way possible. The house itself was absolutely charming. We loved its unique design and the character it carried throughout. One of our favorite features was the artwork—beautiful pieces created by local artists that adorned the walls. Highly recommend staying here. Megan Jo was extremely responsive, helpful, and friendly. They did everything the could to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. The studio was perfect for my needs - solo traveler working remote - good WiFi, AC, comfortable bed. They were super kind and accommodating allowing me to stow my luggage and park my rental car inside their gate. Would stay here again.

We had a great stay at the River Dream House. We loved staying in the rainforest, very close to a beautiful beach (10 min walk on a private path). The hosts were very helpful and responsive. The free laundry service was also appreciated! The house is a short distance from the Jaguar Rescue center and ARA Manzanillo, we loved visiting both.

We stayed there for 2 nights and had a great time. its only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach in a peaceful environment. The kitchen was great. The place is just like in the pictures, but note that the beds are too small for non-partners to sleep together in one, so you have to sleep in different rooms.

An excellent place to spend a beautiful vacation, super clean and comfortable house. Fully equipped. Very beautiful cozy. In comments I observe k they complained about k some dogs arrive. If 2 arrive but weird go and are polite they did not inconvenience at all. We will definitely book again and enjoy very soon. Very friendly and super efficient host. Just as a suggestion, the knives did not have a lot of edge, perhaps they could be sharpened before guests arrive or there is something where the guest can sharpen it to their liking.

Well first off the pictures do not do it justice whatsoever. It is spacious and the look and feel of being in a home made entirely of wood feels amazing. The sounds of the jungle come alive more so at night while ur sleeping and gets even better at the crack of dawn. Don't think twice about booking here everything is close by and walking distance. Best part is Cahuita's National Park entrance is maybe 5 min drive near the house and white sand beach is at this entrance side as well. I will highly recommend without a doubt this place is amazing and the best place I have stayed in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 thus far. Good luck 🍀 Pura Vida!✌️

We had a great time in the beautiful house of Susana. Our kids enjoyed the large pool with the water fall, the large amount of toys and watching the Cherengas and howler monkeys. The house is equipped with everything needed, there is a key for a private path to the beach and we would definitley come again. Thanks Susana for hosting us!
