We absolutely loved staying at Jan’s place. Such a great location, with so many places nearby to visit. One day we visited Oamaru and the next Mt Cook. The geological sites near Kurow-Duntroon were amazing. The lakes are gorgeous, I only wish I brought my bike with me. Our dog also loved Jan’s place as she was safe and secure in the fully fenced gorgeous garden.

The best airbnb we had during our entire south island trip. Alex's place looks exactly as the photos posted and it feels very homey. The kitchen has complete amenities, with everything you need. Alex is extremely helpful and responds immediately. easy check in and check out. highly recommended and would definitely stay here again if we return to lake tekapo.

The environment was exceptional — lush green meadows, flocks of sheep grazing peacefully, distant mountains shrouded in mist and clouds. It was the best airbnb I’ve ever stayed.

The communication was very efficient. The house is a bit dated but that's how it is for the stretch of houses along Lake Tekapo. The house is beautiful with very convenient location, with superb view of the lake at day time and open sky for star viewing at night.

Leanne’s lovely, clean, warm & beautiful home looks so good. Our 2 families enjoyed these 2-night stays. The fashion clean kitchen with full set of kitchenware is very useful. All the rooms are delicate and compact, but still warm & clean. And Twizel is only 40mins to Mountain Cook or Tekapo Lake, very convenient as well. We recommend you (a small group) to visit Leanne’s great home.

We enjoyed our stay in this homely space. The Airbnb was very well stocked with supplies and very clean. It was a short walk to the shopping centre which was good.

We loved staying here. With our two young kids we had a great time biking to the local park to see the birds and wallabies. We also enjoyed the bakery. It was very peaceful with rural surroundings and the house was warm. Shower was lovely! Thanks for having us!

Immediately feel at home in this fascinating little cottage, built out of natural materials and decorated with art & creations that give it a unique and cosy feel. Our host left us a special little welcoming gift of fresh baked bread which we absolutely loved, while enjoying the delightful evening watching the cows in the field. The pub was friendly and the store was very interesting. Definitely a memorable experience, highly recommend especially if you are a creative or inquisitive person. Lovely bed, good linen & facilities. Thank you

Such an awesome spot. Had our own private cottage behind the shops with parking. The fridge was stocked with a few breakfast items and they even brought us bread for the morning for toast. There’s a little coffee cart in front with the shops so we were able to grab a cup before heading to check out Lake Tekapo and the observatory. We were greeted by Chickie, a solo chicken who was very friendly and we were also told there were alpacas on the property, but didn’t see any due to the weather probably. Definitely a unique and interest spot to check out, but still nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

We made a huge mistake when only booking this place for part of our stay. My thought was to jump around the South Island with my family at a couple stops. Had I known it was this awesome, then I would’ve booked our whole time at Anna’s. This place is exactly what my family loves. The kids will definitely be complaining about where we stay next. This property is AWESOME.

What can we say about this stunning place 😍 The accommodation itself has been beautifully styled- it’s so cosy and peaceful, and the kind of place you never want to leave. It has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was amazing and the grounds are great for a walk down to the river. It’s super dog-friendly and our dog loved exploring and playing with gorgeous Rumi! The fresh bread in the morning was such a thoughtful and delicious treat! We can’t wait to come back and to see what else lies in store for this gem of a place. Thank you, Tim, for a great stay and being a brilliant host!

What an amazing place. You will not find anywhere like this in New Zealand. The Hut was so cozy and beautifully decorated to feel like home. Fresh baked bread every morning with plunger coffee. And I got to explore the stunning river and countryside with Rumi the dog by my side. And Tim the host was friendly, helpful and great at communicating. I can see why this place is so highly rated.

Love the living room area. Kitchen has everything we need. This place is much better than the pictures was show in the listing. Unfortunately because the weather, it was cloudy the two days we stay in Tekapo, so we aren’t able to see the stargazing. But if the sky is clear, this will be the place you want to stay！

Can’t say enough about this accommodation! Such a cute little space, and our hosts have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The wood fired hot tub does take a while to heat up, but once you get it going, it’s magical. Kitchen was compact and had everything we needed. Fireplace was warm and cozy. We did have a bit of a struggle to get the fires going, but Amy was so helpful and responsive and came right over to help us out. Would love to come stay here again!

What an absolutely amazing stay. Twizel was our last destination of our South Island trip with our 2 year old son, and was topped off with this amazing stay. The photos on the website don’t do this place justice as it is absolutely stunning. The hot tubs were the highlight, stargazing into the clear night sky with near zero outside noise. Toni was super friendly and recommended the food trucks (pizza was 10/10), she is also a great person and great to chat with. Twizel is also a beautiful place and we would recommend to book this place if you are planning to visit the area. Thanks for having us!
