ROMANTIC FARMHOUSE WITH POOL

RolfRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We were in the casetta with our dog. A very nice small cottage with everything you need, absulutly sufficient for two people. Since we were there at the beginning of September, we were all alone on the estate and were able to enjoy the great pool and tranquility in the countryside. The hosts who were on site every day are very helpful and accommodating. The surroundings are perfect for excursions. We felt very comfortable and will definitely go there again.

Mary's House

Tommy Gerardus JohannesRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Booked last minute but perfectly arranged! We booked our stay at La Casa di Mary last minute, but everything was arranged quickly and efficiently. The communication was smooth and welcoming, which made us feel immediately welcome. This is a stay that we definitely recommend for people looking for peace. The surroundings are calm and relaxing, perfect to unwind. In addition, it is also a great place for people with dogs – the space and atmosphere make it ideal for a stay with your four-legged friend. In short, a nice place where everything runs smoothly and where you can enjoy peacefully. We'd love to come back!

Agriturismo Frallarenza - Large Apartment

Renita And JonathanRating, 5 stars16 months ago
We felt we were staying in a dream Tuscan cottage. Plenty of room and everything a traveller could need was available. Serena makes beautiful soap from their olives and left one in each bathroom for our use. We also chose to pay for cooking with the hosts and spent some time in their kitchen with them getting to know them. The food was amazing and the hosts were beyond accommodating. We were lucky to be here in October during a time of olive harvesting and could watch a bit of the harvest. It’s very easy to make day trips from this location and a small town nearby has any groceries you may need but the fridge and kitchen was already stocked with essentials including butter, bread, beer water, coffee and more. We were happy to arrive and sad to leave. Thanks for an amazing stay under the Tuscan sun and moon ❤️

Podere di Maggio - Casa Grande

AnnaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Lovely place with peace and space to relax. The apartment is equipped with almost everything you need. The hosts are sweet and welcoming and would like to help if needed. They live next door but there is still nice space for privacy. Only downside is that there are a few bugs that can be a little disruptive, so remember mosquito spray or other!

Spectacular Villa and Pool

BillRating, 5 stars91 months ago
This is the most beautiful and amazing Villa! Susan has created a dream home from a 17th century farmhouse with all the modern conveniences. The Villa along with the pool, vegetable and flower gardens and overall landscape were very well maintained. We were able to use the outdoor brick oven for "pizza night" the day before we left with the help of 2 local women Susan had recommended to prepare our menu. The location was perfect; set in the Umbrian hillside with easy access to Todi, Spoletto, Assisi, Sismano, Acquasparta as well as many other small towns and villages. Looking out our bedroom windows to see the rolling hills and communities perched on the mountaintops was spectacular. The surrounding sunflower fields are breathtaking when in bloom. Susan has thought of every single detail in the home. The kitchen was well stocked with all the staples we needed. Fresh linen and towels were always available. Each room had all the comforts of home. I cannot say enough of how gracious and accommodating our Hostess Susan was. She was very knowledgeable of the area and has roots in the community. I would highly recommend this Villa. Susan has helped create a memory for our family that will not be forgotten.

"Palazzaccio Todi Estate" hideaway

NickRating, 5 stars4 months ago
It’s hard to describe the beauty and quiet that comes with Fabs’ place in the hills above Todi. Total peace and quiet, stunning views, and unlimited things to do for our family - fires for cooking, swimming, a playground, bush walks! The old house is very cool to stay in, with plenty of space and great amenities. The location of the house is perfect - out of town and totally private, but a quick drive in to Todi and surrounding old towns. We pick this place with Fabs as a last minute change of plans and are so lucky we did! It made our visit to Umbria absolutely perfect! Cheers!

Casa Isla, near Orvieto, amazing views + pool

StephanieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a wonderful getaway in the hills of Umbria close to Orvieto amid the olive trees! We were welcomed by Anthony and Joanne with fresh bread, their Casale Zeno olive oil and breathtaking views. The cottage was so clean, warm, comfortable and lovely. We appreciated the binder of information, the attention to sustainability and learning the history about their journey to restoring the main house. They provided suggestions for great gelato and a local village restaurant where we were well taken care of. We were even treated to some local wild boar in a yummy sauce and pasta by Anthony! Our adult children wanted to especially thank black lab Jack for being welcoming and accepting pets from them! Loved it all...even the thick fog that rolled over one day! What an experience!

Wonderful old country villa for groups or families

IrisRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We stayed in the big beautiful casale for 10 days, at the end of august. We are a family of 9 adults, 6 kids (14 -8 years old) and 2 enfants, and we usually go on vacation together this time of the year. We all agree that this place and its hosts is the most amazing, fantastic, perfect place we've been to. the descriptions and photos of the area and details of the villa don't really do it enough justice. Beth and Stefano welcomed us to their beautiful home, and we all fell in love with them. we feel blessed to having met them and spend time in this generous and artistic home, in a beautiful area. It was hard to leave...hopefully we'll come again. Iris
The illuminated pool area is showcased at night, featuring a tranquil water surface with reflections. A spacious terrace with a covered dining area and an outdoor kitchen, including a barbecue, is visible in the background. Olive trees add to the serene ambiance of the surroundings.

G's place was simply wonderful: a majestic farmhouse set in a beautiful and peaceful landscape. The pool was probably the most incrediblel pool we have ever swam in. Location is close enough to many attractions (within 30 to 40 mins by car). I would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely come back one day!

Beautifully spacious house. Nicely decorated. Warm in winter due to heating and wood stove. Only the kitchen inventory still needs some attention😉. The area is beautiful and super quiet. Lovely terraces. And many interesting excursions in the area possible. Great to walk to the high town (over half an hour).

Sociano by Interhome

HansRating, 5 stars17 months ago
We were there with a group of 10 friends and had a great time. The location on the mountain is enchanting, the house and garden spacious and well equipped. The pool can be reached after a three-minute walk via a dirt track, with us no one else was there. The house is one of the lands of Francesco, who grows very tasty own olive oil here, produces honey and keeps cows (and the dog Billa, who visits you more often). The house is also well located for activities, but you have to accept that you always have to take a 30-minute drive by car over serpentines and dirt roads, which is quite an attraction.

Anne-Marie Rating, 5 stars18 months ago
Exceeded expectations ✨ Anette and her house completely exceeded our expectations. There was nothing missing and Anette was able to help with questions right away. ☺️ The house, the garden and the area are breathtakingly beautiful! We had the most amazing vacation we could have ever imagined. 🗺️🌞 Rome and other smaller cities are easily accessible by car and Lake Bolsena is beautiful. We rented a boat for half a day to explore the islands islands - really a huge recommendation! 🚤🪸 If you're not going to be here, you're definitely missing out on a great holiday! 🧳💕

Villa Bracioforte

TinaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We loved renting this home in Lubriano!! It has outstanding views and is situated in a small and friendly village! We enjoyed breakfast in the garden every morning. It was also nice to be able to walk to the little markets and coffee shop and getting to know the people in the village. We were able to hike a beautiful trail from our doorstep to Civita di Bagnoregio and avoid parking and entry fees into the village by entering through an interesting tunnel under the village and walking in the back way. A nice adventure! There are wonderful places to eat in Lubriano and nearby surrounding areas. Jovez, Il Rippi & Go, and C'era una volta... l'Hostaria being our favorites. We also found very nice walks out of Bagnoregio. We never went into any of the larger towns, because there are so many nearby small hilltop villages to explore and we loved the slower and quieter life! Diana and her housekeeper, Nadia, were very attentive and friendly hosts! This rental was quite a find!

The romantic "Suite of the Torre del Bennicelli"

MackenzieRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Loved staying at Andrea’s place. It was beautiful and peaceful, and so clean! The dinner was wonderful as well! One thing to be aware of if you don’t have a car on your trip is that taxis can be difficult between the house and town of Orvieto which is about 15-20 minutes, especially in the evening after 4p. So you will need to coordinate to make sure you’re able to get back to the house. Andrea kindly helped me out when I have trouble. He is a very generous, welcoming host!

Even more beautiful than the photos - this house is a dream. The scenery is unreal and waking up to such peaceful views is a gift in this life. The house itself is really nicely laid out with spacious rooms and bathrooms all set apart from each other for maximum privacy. The house was immaculately clean upon arrival. We were two families who spent 4 days here with 4 children and we cooked Thanksgiving dinner. The house had all we needed to make a large meal and the children were entertained running around in the yard and exploring outside. The host, Janusz, is friendly, communicative, and proactive. 10/10 this house was absolutely beautiful- an unforgettable Thanksgiving for all of us.

A former loft with castle view

ÇağrıRating, 5 stars18 months ago
We felt mesmerized by the beauty of the location. The surroundings were very beautiful and also the inside of the house was so well taken care of. It is even more beautiful than in the pictures and clean. Also for kids there was enough to do. Our 10y/o son could enjoy the swimming pool, lay in the hammock and play with the 2 cutest dogs. The host Monika was very friendly. She explained about where to visit, what restaurants were good, etc. She also was helpful in making reservations for us. Pomantello lays quite remote, but we loved it so much. It was definitely a place where we could relax. There was so much to explore in the near surroundings like Orvieto, the Bolsena lake and it's nearby cities and villages. The medieval cities on the tuff mountains are so beautiful and the views are stunning. Also the locals are very friendly and helpful. We definitely like to come back one day!

San Giusto Abbey { medieval Tower }

DarrenRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I can't say enough about my stay with Ippolita. She was more than accommodating and the stay was very memorable. We were allowed to walk around and explore the ancient monastery and they made us the most incredible breakfast. It was by far the highlight of our entire trip to Italy. The only negative thing I have to say is that I didn't stay there long enough!!! We only booked one night and left early. Next time I would love to stay for multiple days to truly experience all there is to see and do there. Ippolita was extremely polite and helpful. She was willing to help move our bags and allowed for late check in and last minute accommodation changes. I would highly recommend this stay to everyone!!!
