A great apartment with great views of the Como and the surrounding mountains. The apartment is in the residential area above Colico, is lovingly decorated, is very clean, has great equipped including parking in front of the door and pool (250m away). The location in the north of the lake was ideal for exploring the surrounding places on the lake and also going north to Valchiavenna. Raffaela welcomes you warmly and has many tips for the surrounding area. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the apartment.

Emanuele is truly a superhost : precise, kind and attentive to the requests of the guests. The house is exactly as described: very clean, equipped with everything you need, a few minutes from the center of Chiavenna, in a comfortable and quiet position, very quiet. Emanuele also pampered us with fresh brioche that he brought us in the morning. So, highly recommended !

nice, tidy accommodation in a quiet area. Close to downtown Colico (5 min. by car), large shopping center and supermarket (10 min. by car). Francesca is very kind and quick to respond to messages. Also Moira and Giusy (who provided check in and check out) are also very friendly. We had a wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic and memorable trip! The accommodation was private and the well fenced garden was very much appreciated by our dog. The mountain/valley view is just like the picture; breathtaking and peaceful. At least two official hiking trails are walkable directly from the accommodation and are very scenic with views of the surrounding lakes and mountains. We appreciated the little touches like the wall photos showing surrounding towns. It was nice to see the historical photos of the building and the investment made in the restoration and enhancement made in modernizing the building (while preserving its character). Not doable without a car, but I would say the same for Como in general. Parking at the accommodation was no issue.

Colico is nice and not too touristy. Place is on two floors the lower floor or the basement is a bit damp and cold, but it’s still a nice space; the second floor is nice with mountain views. House is on a steep hill, 20 min walk up. Maria is a nice and kind host. She is very accommodating and responsive. Internet is not super fast but works good enough. Nice place for long stays as well. Definitely recommend

If you are looking for a quiet place to spend your holidays, this is the perfect place!! The place is spotless and everything is available to feel at home!! Access to a small beach just below is at its best. 2 mins from the listing! The owners check in to see if everything is okay and are at your disposal if needed. The only downside, the car is a must to do everything. Even buy bread in the morning.

We had a lovely stay in Gravedona. Francesca was always available and very flexible. The place has a very nice promenade (right outside the door) and a great beach, especially for children, which is a 10-minute walk away. The apartment is on the ground floor, very reassured as the house is surrounded by greenery and gardens. There is no through traffic here as it is located in the backyard directly to the lake. The access to the lake is locked by a door, which may be used with a paddle board from Francesca. This is good, otherwise all holiday guests of the different apartments would walk by. We felt comfortable and thank Francesca. Tip: Rent a boat in Dongo, behind the Iperal or enjoy the lake by the beach. The best ice cream is on the promenade just in front of the church.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in "Zimmer Franka". Grazia is a very nice host ,the well-being of her guests is important to her. The accommodation is simple and yet everything necessary + more is available. The garden is a paradise for people and animals. The lake can be reached after about a 5-minute walk and the bus stop is directly opposite. From here you can drive towards Colico or Como. Gravedonna itself is a beautiful rather quiet town. If you like it more hustle and bustle, you can easily make excursions to the more touristy areas from here. We were very comfortable and welcome. Thank you for this.

Very friendly and helpful landlord. The accommodation corresponds exactly to the description, great view of the lake, very clean and spacious apartment. Restaurants, shopping facilities, beach, etc., within walking distance. Landlords always help with tips and excursions in the area. We enjoyed it very much and will definitely come again.

We were greeted very hospitably by Dennis and Janna with wine, fruit and flowers. Everything is sparkling clean, communication couldn't be better! Jana responded immediately to all our questions. We loved being there. There can't be two opinions about the location. Amazing. We loved staying there.

We spent a long weekend at Alex and Leo's place, it was very nice and memorable days, the hosts are very accommodating, friendly and helpful, the location of the property above Lago di Como is spectacular, in the garden or in the hot tub/spa and admiring the lake or stars is stunning. The surrounding area is very quiet, the neighbors friendly and reserved. We would like to come again and highly recommend it, top location, host and house.
