amazing place in the mountain side of Borgotaro. its a bit far from everything so you need a car. Elena was so helpful and their family was just a pleasure. i would love to visit again next time im in italy! wonderful place!

We stayed at Casa Pastano for 2 weeks, with our 3 children, and left with a heart full of beautiful memories! The house, the garden, the breathtaking view over mountains and valley, the peace, the nature, the space, it was just really fantastic. You can also look for culture from here. Borgo val Taro, Sestri Levante, La Spezia, the Cinque Terre (Manarola), Castello di Compiano, but also all the small villages in the near area were simply beautiful! For the kids there were many opportunities for swimming, 2 swimming pools at 10 minutes drive, but river Taro (2 minutes) was still the most favorite! Restaurants with delicious Italian food everywhere. And Italian ice cream every day! Phil and Hilary were not present during our stay, but so proactive, helpful and caring in all communication. We felt very welcome. We definitely hope to be back here again someday! This place has a place in our heart!

The apartment itself was immaculately preserved and tidy, reflecting the care and attention to detail of the hosts. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, which was a fantastic way to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Livia was exceptionally kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. She was always responding quickly and with care and attention. Overall, this apartment provided a perfect getaway, combining stunning views, excellent amenities, and warm hospitality. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Italy. And we would definitely come back.

For the first time I looked for a place to allow my parents to unplug a little and enjoy a weekend of well-deserved relaxation... In other words, they were excited! Flavia and Laura were extremely available for every request, as well as kind and handy; their dogs are very affectionate and sweet, as well as excellent truffle seekers... truffles tasted then during a great aperitif! The place was also very nice, well-kept and quiet, great for taking nice walks; the room was very nice, not to mention the outdoor space with lounge chairs... a real oasis of peace. What to add? My parents felt very pampered, so I can't help but be happy with the choice. I hope to get to know Flavia and Laura in person soon! 😊

Wonderful stay for five people, within walking distance of the beautiful center of Castell' Arquato. Francesca is very friendly, helpful and responded quickly to questions.

There is very good and responsive communication with the landlord. It is really helpful that their office is located in the very building were the apartment is. It is possible to rent a garage in the building for 5 EUR per day which we did and thereby avoided the risk of damage made to the car when parked. The apartment is located in the very centre of the city, everything is in walking distance. The apartment feels big, e.g. the sleeping room and the very nice bathroom. There is an elevator in the building. On the negative: the kitchen was not fully equipped with e.g. bread knife, and not every plate or glass was clean.

Very kind host and perfect communication times. Self check-in is very convenient, my attic is very convenient, equipped with all the comforts you need for a short stay.
