We enjoyed our stay here. Aaron was extremely helpful and responsive whenever we had questions. Great location, very close to the ocean and other eateries and cafes. The only thing that was very true to the description is it not very soundproof. You'll definitely hear planes flying overhead, trash being picked, or voices from outside the house will be picked up. Overall a great spot for a group of 4, or less, of twenty-something year olds or a couple with kids!

Dogtopia! Thank you for accommodating our daughters two dogs. This was the first time having them both together. We set up some barriers inside and had some mess around contact in the spacious yard. The humans loved having meals outside and sitting by the fire sipping champagne. Comfy beds too! A great time was had by all!

I absolutely loved my stay with Nancy! I was so comfortable and felt at home. We had more than enough. I wish I could live there it was truly an escape. It was just such a gorgeous and beautiful space. We felt very safe and comfy. It was only 5 minutes to the grocery store, coffee or anything else I wanted to go grab last minute. I will definitely book again next time I’m in town!

The property was well maintained, matched the photos, had everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location was convenient to some interesting neighborhoods, walking distance to the dog beach and running tracks. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to anyone with dogs looking for a place to stay. Thank you for having us.

The home was perfect! It is very well supplied and very walkable to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable for 6 adults. We enjoyed playing the board games at night. Definitely would stay here again next time visiting Carlsbad.

I was willing to pay extra for the location, and boy, did that pay off! I wound up proposing to my fiancée at the top of the street, where a private, secluded cliffside bluff exists. You have to tiptoe down a pathway, but thank goodness we'd walked home from Newport Ave the night before where I located the quintessential proposal spot! Otherwise, the Airbnb worked out terrifically. The neighborhood is delightful; you're so close to all the action in downtown Ocean Beach. 15-minute walk places you right near the bars, restaurants, and shops. Traffic getting in and out of the neighborhood was a breeze. No issues getting rideshares, either. We loved the little compound the owners have set up. There's a grill for each house plus a shared hot tub that we took advantage of using. The apartment itself is a bit outdated, and the price point might be on the higher end. But you're paying for the scenery, proximity to action, and private space.

Amazing location, very clean!

This tiny home had everything we needed. The backyard was beautiful and we spent an entire afternoon back there enjoying the wonderful San Diego weather. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Lisa’s place was perfect! She met us at check in, gave us great recommendations that proved excellent! The yard was awesome especially for our fur babies, but we enjoyed it just as much. The bed was very comfortable and Lisa provided little extras that came in handy. The neighborhood was quiet and we had total privacy even being in a casita. We hope we can return for another stay!!

Lovely home! Spacious with areas to spread out inside and out. Amazing privacy in backyard food for kids to play, swim, or use hot rub. The outdoor bbq was useful and beautiful. Really enjoyed the week and celebrating Thanksgiving in such a warm and cozy home in a great neighborhood. Walked to the bay several times!

Ann's place was in a central location and exceptionally clean. Ann was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Her home is centrally located and in a very walkable neighborhood.

Had a great stay! We loved the area especially for visiting the zoo and the house was spacious and comfortable.

Bruce was the perfect host! He was super helpful from the moment we arrived and throughout the weekend. The best part of the home was the backyard and fun amenities throughout, like the ping-pong table and pool table. Bruce was super helpful and responsive when we ran into any questions. I appreciated the thoughtfulness like with the flowers he got our group to the flexibility he showed with our late check-out request. Thank you, Bruce!!!

Cute little studio with nice details on a beautiful, private property. Looks just like in the pictures and is perfect for the solo traveler. Loved that it came with bicycles for a quick ride to the beach. Tigg was a great host and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again.

Rich and Adrienne's place was the perfect beach getaway. It was quiet, comfortable, and well-organized. They've used the space efficiently. The home was very clean and inviting. The kitchen was thoughtfully well stocked. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed and more! We enjoyed the outdoor space and the short walk to the beach. We appreciated the beach gear including a cooler, chairs, boogie boards, and toys. The hosts provided local recommendations on arrival and were quick to respond when asked about specific things like bike rentals, providing great, local recommendations. It was an easy walk to the two main areas of OB with restaurants and shopping. We would absolutely stay here again with our party of two adults and one teenager. This is a real gem in OB.

We rented Gabe’s 3 bed/2 bath house in UH and it was fantastic! Our family of 5 stayed a week and truth be told, I wanted to stay forever! From the beginning Gabe was extremely cordial and promptly responded to our questions. The house was exactly like the pictures posted. We loved Gabe’s artistic decor style. We appreciated the privacy of the rooms and having a European style restroom in the MS was a plus. The beds were very comfy, and we didn’t really need the AC, but appreciated it’s availability. Whatever we needed to feel at home, this place had it, from multiple clean towels, crisp linens, makeup towels (I didn’t use it but nice detail) to a Keurig, and condiments. We enjoyed making breakfast at the house as a family. We didn’t use the shared jacuzzi. Maybe next time! Plenty of parking in the area in this quiet quaint neighbor in the heart of UH walking distance from grocery stores and restaurants. We had a great time. Felt right at home. Can’t wait to come back! The cute little bungalow accommodated to our family of 5 (one of them couldn’t stay overnight due to his job). I noticed from the other reviews that it is well stocked and it was! I left my meat thermometer at home and Marc already had it stocked. We enjoyed the privacy and the outside deck to hang out on, it is close to most San Diego sight seeing sites, and it is super dog friendly! Marc included doggie treats on the counter of the table! Our dogs were very comfortable and I was thankful to have an enclosed patio where they could lounge safely. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable!

This is a great place for the family and your dog. Gregory received us with a nice welcome card and blue berry muffins. I highly recommend this place.

We have saved with Lisa on multiple occasions. It’s feels like home away from home. I would stay at Lisa’s place again when we come into town. Very peaceful and private.

Great area, close to the beach. Even though a duplex the house, the rooms and bathrooms gave us plenty of space. Plenty of eating options all within walking distince. Enough parking for two vehicles. Checking in was very easy even allowing us to check in an hour earlier than expected. Pictures were exactly as they looked. Only thing missing from the back yard was a gas fired fire pit would have added to the back patio. Not sure if local ordinance would allow. Will definitely come back to rent again.

We had a peaceful stay and felt right at home. The hot tub is a nice plus and was fun to watch TV or listen to music in their lovely courtyard area. The space inside was just right with nice amenities. Very friendly and quick responses from Elizabeth. Really close to walk or drive into town for what you need. Had some useful supplies/treats for doggies and a crate as an option. She made sure we didn't fall short on supplies also. Thank you for making us feel comfortable!

Finding the place was easy enough. Just follow the directions and the pictures of Kitty’s place are 100 percent accurate. I met Kitty once I arrived, she was very welcoming and friendly while also respecting my space. The backyard was adorable and enclosed. My dogs loved running around and exploring the yard. The room was quaint and clean. All amenities work great and all instructions were clear with great recommendations. Location made it easy to access so many things. Would stay here again.
