Villa vacation rentals in Potrero

The place was exactly as described. We had 10 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. Had breakfast and most suppers outside by the pool. Working with the concierges provided (Brenda) was extremely helpful. She organized, shuttle services, tours, restaurant reservations and a catamaran and was very responsive to all of our questions during the stay. Veronica the chef / cleaner for the mornings was very helpful and friendly. She made all of our breakfasts and cleaned up any mess from the night before and had a great energy. We used the go carts to drive to the beach club (10 minute go kart ride) , pickle ball (10 minute go kart ride) and for suppers at the JW Marriott (5 minute go kart ride away). Beaches are great and very close and walkable to driveable with a car or go karts. We had a car to go into Tamarindo to get groceries and go to the beaches and restaurants there as well, only a 15-20 minute drive once you are out of the resort. Overall a

Pictures don’t quite do Villa Lou Lou justice, the sunsets will stop you in your tracks. We entered the villa felt the peacefulness, the landscape & design of the place is stunning & perfect for families. The location is amazing & playa grande beach was by far the best beach around. We were able to go for a morning walk to get a few groceries if needed or a quick drive to local groceries. Be sure to step out the back doors in the mornings to hear the howler monkeys. Claire was a very helpful host with recommendations for things to do around the area. We’ll be back forsure!

Lovely home very spacious and fully equipped from top to bottom. Super comfortable. Great beds and luxurious sheets. Beautiful pool. Wildlife everywhere! Howler monkeys and beautiful birds. And some amazing iguanas

They were gone of us staying at Kenneth‘s place in Playa grande. Six siblings +3 wives. We loved the private Casitas that All enjoyed us a communal spaces which brought us together as a family kitchen was very well stocked with shockingly sharp knives, which is somewhat unheard of in Airbnb’s. I would highly recommend the thing that this beautiful Villa spread over such a large area area so full of birds, holler monkeys, iguanas, and a glorious array of flora wherever we looked. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away and no matter what time of day or what love love tide. It was such a beautifully diverse ecosystem to enjoy. The water was very accessible, even to some of us with mobility issues if you have a good size group of people, I highly highly recommend Villa luna grande. You will not be disappointed. We can’t wait to come back again to enjoy all of this.

Our stay at Antonio’s place was nothing short of amazing. Antonio was super helpful and responsive to all requests. He made our stay stress free as he provided awesome recommendations for a driver as well as a personal chef for my birthday. Cannot recommend this place enough! If you’re considering it for your stay in Costa Rica, do it. :)

Maria’s house was perfect for our vacation! The location of the house created an experience like no other. The house was a wonderful setting for our group of 9 to enjoy the beach and the pool while feeling safe and peaceful. Listening to the monkeys early in the morning and then seeing them in the backyard trees was amazing. Maria’s recommendation for catering gave us the opportunity to enjoy homemade, authentic Costa Rican food. I can’t even begin to tell you how much we all enjoyed the food but the guacamole and nachos were delicious! The location was far enough away to offer a peaceful setting but still close enough for us to get around on our rented golfcart. Our next stay in Costa Rica will be at Maria’s house for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home, and our host Arturo, was so friendly, kind, and helpful for our entire stay. Arturo arranged our airport shuttles, golf carts, a sunset cruise in Tamarindo, (including the transportation), the chef for two nights, and he made excellent recommendations in the area. The house is gorgeous, the neighbourhood is beautiful, the beach club and beach are amazing. The house is about 30 minutes from Tamarindo, and we only went there the day of our sunset cruise. There were 12 in our group, (7 adults and 5 kids), and we all had an incredible time. I highly recommend staying here!!

Wow! What an incredible place. We loved it! Great value. The pool is fantastic. The architecture is amazing. Fabrice was a perfect host! I’d absolutely come back again!

We stayed at Casa Duna for a week as 2 families, with 4 adults and 5 teenagers. This was a great space for this type of arrangement. The teens loved being in the pool. The adults appreciated having cleaning and breakfast service, which allowed us more free time. There was plenty of room for everyone to spend time together or apart as needed. The close proximity to the grocery store and just out of town feel of the house also were pluses for our group. Our hosts Deniz and Adriano were very proactive and kind. They also shared some great recommendations that we certainly would not have found on our own. I also enjoyed hearing about their interesting story behind creating this space. Shirley, the woman who helped with breakfast and cleaning, was also extremely nice. Shortly before the end of this trip I sprained my ankle while on an excursion, and had to stay at the house resting it while my family continued the adventures. But Casa Duna was so relaxing I didn't mind too much!

Villa Burracuda is an amazing villa located in the heart of Playa Grande. The villa has ample space, amazing outdoor area and a large pool. One of the largest we have found in Playa Grande. Everything was exactly as described and has everything one could need for a sunny getaway. Within easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and local shops, there is always something to do. Guanacasa Management team was beyond helpful and accommodating to our needs- from early check in, to fantastic commutation and even helped us when we had a personal issue arise. They are simply wonderful hosts and I cannot say enough good words about them! You will not be disappointed at staying at one of their properties. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay memorable!! Pura Vida!!

Our stay at the house was incredible, the views were great from the rooms, with some overlooking the ocean and others the mountains. I would suggest this house to any large family as it has a great variety of common areas and a large TV room. All the bedrooms has AC and the bedding was nice, and fresh when we arrived. The check-in was great, with a very helpful host who showed us the main aspects of the house, as well explained the rules of the house. Overall I loved our stay at the Malinche Palace, and we are very excited to visit again.

Breathtaking property and views. It’s about a ten minute ride from the street on a mostly unpaved uphill road and driving up, we weren’t sure what to expect. When we arrived with our five children, each of us was blown away. Over the course of the trip, a few appliances had issues. I’m not sure exactly how, but the management team for the property was on site in minutes with a fix, no matter the issue. This is why I gave five stars. The property is probably 4 or 4.5 stars but the team involved easily pushes this to a 5. Thanks for a great stay. We would definitely visit again.

This is a beautiful property—the garden and pool area is stunning, the patio facing the beach is incredible, and the house is comfortable and well situated. We really loved having morning coffee and listening to the waves. And to be able to just waltz out the back gate and be in the ocean in seconds is the best thing ever. We appreciated Nick’s fast communication and would love to stay again some day!

Kaya Villas was absolutely beautiful, from the inside decor to the tropical garden surrounding it. It was next door to a lovely bakery and coffee shop and a 2 min walk to a handful of restaurants and a shop. About 10 mins walk to the beach. Andre the host was such a lovely person, clearly takes a huge amount of pride over his beautiful property and the garden. He was so friendly and helpful. He suggested some great local spots. Such a nice man. You will not regret booking this place! Avellanas was a great spot, with enough going on to you keep you entertained but not too busy like the nearby towns on Tamarindo. Delicious food options. A great place to take kids with a nearby play area and night market with a big community of children. We had an amazing time, thank you Andre!

Nathalie and Nico were fantastic hosts. The home genuinely looks exactly like the pictures. We were met at check in and walked through the house, it was very clean and well stocked, and the location was an average of 5 minutes (by Uber) from many, many restaurants and outings. It fit 6 adult women comfortably and we all felt safe. Nathalie even stopped by on my actual birthday with a card, candle, and small pastry which was incredibly thoughtful. The only real downsides were the power and water outages. There were 2 of each in the week we were there. All of these events were resolved within about an hour or less, with the longest issue being the water stopping for about 3 hours the morning we were leaving. These issues were out of their control, but just something to keep in mind. There were also a lot of tiny crabs?? Very non-threatening (coming from someone who does NOT do bugs) but again, just something to note. Overall I would recommend this home to anyone visiting Tamarindo.

Villa Carao 7 is a great house for entertaining multiple couples or a large family. The 4 separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom made for privacy concerns to be met with all of the people who joined us throughout our extended stay. The host was always responsive via the message feature on the app and any concerns were addressed in short order. There are multiple reviews that speak of hot water issues, but if you just let the showers run for an extended time before getting in, then there are no issues with either the temperature, nor the quantity of the hot water. I would not hesitate to rent this Villa again in the future, and look forward to another trip to Reserva Conchal in the future.

Wow! We had an amazing vacation in Costa Rica, and staying at Villa colibri was just like hitting the jack pot. There were 6 of us, and the room configuration was perfect to give my young adult kids the privacy they needed, and we all congregated every day in the beautifully landscaped courtyard with pool. The breach, restaurants and shops were walking distance - we sometimes drove and sometimes walked. Playa grande is a quaint village/town where you can live like locals and everyone is so friendly. Our hosts were amazing and made us feel at home. I recommend 100%, and have nothing negative to say!

Beautiful place to stay in a gorgeous location! Enjoyed the ocean view, private gated community, and all of the amenities the home had to offer. Thank you Helen for a wonderful stay, we would recommend this house for anyone looking to stay in Playa Grande!

If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay that is convenient to downtown Tamarindo but quietly removed in a private, gated community, PiPPi’s Villa is it! My wife, son, and I spent many afternoons lounging by the backyard pool after a day of beach combing, swimming in the ocean, or souvenir hunting in town, just a short walk away. A favorite feature for us was the “Casita” guest house. Our son retired to it in the evening giving my wife and I privacy in the main Villa. We would also enjoy our morning coffee in the Villa’s beautiful flower garden which was visited each day by a dozen, multicolored dragonflies. Quite a unique experience. Our Host, Helena, was terrific! Very responsive, respectful, and helpful with any questions or concerns we had during our stay. On our next trip to Costa Rica, we will definitely try to spend part of it enjoying PiPPi’s Villa.

Le logement était très propre, sécurisé, beau et bien équipé. La literie très confortable. Enfin Ian est très réactif, en cas de besoin et toutes les instructions était très claires.

The view was everything! We loved watching the sunset every night and just hanging out in the backyard spotting monkeys in the trees. You definitely need a four-wheel drive to get to the house. But you get used to it. Host was extremely friendly and responsive. There was an adorable outdoor cat who liked to have company. Seriously the views are spectacular and you don’t want to miss out. So peaceful and away from everything.

I just loved the place and the condominium where it is located! The house is perfect for two couples or two couples with two kids (since one of the bedrooms has two couple bars). It is spacious with a nice American style kitchen, two full bathrooms, a marvelous terrace and the most gorgeous sunset view ever: you may watch the sunset Literally from the sofa of your terrace! About location: the best ever! You are just a few steps from what I consider one of the best and most beautiful beaches of Guanacaste! And you are also close to several nice restaurants of the region. I would (and will) stay here another thousand times!
