Vacation rentals with lake access in Portsmouth

Pete’s place is a great little getaway, beautiful view of the water and marina. Very clean throughout with plenty of things to do around the home! We loved playing pool and a couple board games. The extra snacks were a huge plus for us after a day of travel, very thoughtful hosts, I strongly recommend Pete’s place

The beds are very comfortable! The shower is great, too. It was handy to have the entire upper floor for the kids to chill and enjoy themselves. The whole place was so very clean. More towels would have come in handy, but it was all good. The neighborhood is very quiet and we felt safe even though it was bustling outside of the perimeter of residential homes. I would def stay here again. Thanks for everything, Nate.

This house is perfect for families who like to travel with their fur babies to the beach! The house does have a lot of steps but Matthew has all areas well lit! The backyard was spectacular! And the inside offers lots of free space as to not feel crowded. We truly appreciated all of the amenities that helped to make our stay so much more comfortable.

The house was clean and beautiful. The beds were super comfortable. The view in the back and from some of the bedrooms was amazing. we enjoyed kayaking and going out in the canoe. We enjoyed it so much we would like to come back in the summer.

This is a quaint home in a nice neighborhood. They kitchen had great appliances, and the home was nicely decorated as a family home. The back yard could have used some attention as it was full of leaves and not able to take our dog outside the fenced area due to the debris. The beds had older mattresses, but the bathrooms were nice. Overall, a great home and I would recommend this to someone needing a dog friendly home.

Antoinette's place is described perfectly and was the perfect spot for my group's (5 guys) needs. it was spacious, but quaint and had everything we needed. The location was great. It is in walking distance to restaurants, convince store and other attractions. Will be booking again with her in the future.

The perfect spot for our family holiday! Sarah was incredibly responsive, helpful and friendly and the house felt like a home right away. Fully stocked kitchen, pristine cleanliness, high end touches everywhere while still having kid-friendly furniture and a handicap-friendly layout. Can’t say enough glowing things, we’ll be back!

I would definitely stay here again! My absolute favorite part was the deck outside. It had so much seating and a table with an umbrella. The home was lovely. The queen size bed was comfy. The space on the side of the bed with the wall is awkward because the intake vent is there, and that vent is also loud and annoying. Just wear earplugs! We added two of the wooden tray tables from the closet as night stands. The house is clean except the floor, which I'd imagine is hard to sweep or mop because the boards have shifted, making the floor uneven with cracks through out. So the floor felt and looked a bit dirty, but you're by the beach with sand, so eh not a problem.

Everything was perfect highly recommend!

Velma's place was great! We surprisingly got upgraded to the unit upstairs, which had a porch with a beautiful view of the water. The unit was clean and spacious. It met all our needs. Velma was also very proactive and responsive. I would highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay away from downtown VA Beach. It was the perfect size for our small family. The park amenities (pools, fishing) were great. A short distance to the beach and close to public beach access parking lot with picnic tables, bath house, grills etc. if you would rather drive instead of walk.

Absolutely gorgeous property, the carriage house is SO well thought out and has so many cool and cute specialties.

We loved our stay at the Simple Life. Everything was exactly as the listing pictured it. While the house is on the older and smaller side compared to many of the other rentals in Sandbridge, it has clearly been impeccably maintained. We enjoyed the pool and being just two blocks from the beach, which was uncrowded. My only minor complaint is that the bunk bed in the second bedroom wasn’t super comfortable and it was very squeaky, which wasn’t ideal since I was sharing it with my sleeping newborn, and my senior mom had some trouble getting up on the bed in the primary because it was so high off the ground. But that is seriously such a minor thing. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had plenty of towels and access to a washer/dryer, which we didn’t end up using. We had a really wonderful, relaxing time and my dad commented several times he wished we could have stayed another week!
