Fantastic 2 bedroom cottage in a great location, with stunning views of Ben Nevis and the surrounding mountains. The famous Caledonian Canal is on the doorstep with a restaurant/bistro just 2 minutes walk away, and the cottage is only 3 miles from Fort William. This is a great base for exploring the local area and all of its outdoor activities and sights. Plenty of shops in easy reach of the cottage; the nearest Coop is 1 mile away, and there is an Aldi and M&S Foodhall just 2 miles away.

Two bedroom semi-detached cottage in the heart of Fort William, in a very quiet location very popular with local people. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, local amenities, swing park and tourist attractions. Neighbours are very friendly. Entire house and gardens have been recently renovated to a very high standard. House boasts of a real wood burning stove with wood supplied, oil fired radiators, plenty of hot water, two gardens - front and back - to enjoy the sun with seating.

Ceud mille Failte is a tastefully decorated and very comfortable apartment. Bright and airy with gas central heating with well equipped kitchen. Guests have access to all Highland Club facilities such as heated indoor swimming pool, tennis court, indoor table tennis, giant chess set in the cloister gardens and of course the Club Lounge, with full size snooker table and relaxing seating area. Sorry no babies or children under 5 years old, there is too much glass in the apartment.

Two bedrooms one king size bed and one double however there is only one shower room it’s beautiful but this is the only downside for parties of four persons

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roxy’s Retreat and felt right at home upon our arrival. Very clean, private, dog friendly, and not to mention the amazing view and sunsets! Mags is a very friendly and proactive host communicating with us before, during and after our trip - ensuring our stay went smoothly. The location was not only stunning it was also perfect as a base to explore all the amazing sites Skye has to offer. We would definitely recommend Roxy’s Retreat and would certainly stay here again! Lagan Glas is a beautiful, luxurious cottage in a magnificent location. We had a fantastic week on Skye as a family of 5 with our Labrador. The cottage has everything you’d want for some relaxation time: XBox for the kids, log burner to drink a whisky by and stunning views to stare out to. The kitchen and dining area are superb and very well equipped and the bathrooms likewise. The location in Glendale is stunning (as is every corner of Skye) with a lovely circular walk via a rocky beach for the dog to run about and an excellent cafe for a pit stop. There’s also a very special vegetarian restaurant and tea room not far away. Karen is super helpful and swift in her responses, with excellent local insight and suggestions. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Lagan Glas and Skye in general.

The Old Croft House

I always say I’d never go back to a place but I think The Old Croft House might be the exception! I simply loved it. We arrived just before sunset and continued to have amazing weather for the whole week. Some fantastic walks, Point of Sleat across such rugged terrain, breathtaking. The beach through the gate at the end of the garden felt so secret and special. The house itself had everything we needed. The blackout blinds were great, very comfy bed. Shower albeit it tiny was perfectly acceptable. I loved the print in the bathroom so much I went to the artists (Cath Waters) shop in Portree and got myself one.

My girlfriend and I have just had spend the last 2 days on the Isle of Skye and were so happy to call this our base. It was exactly like the photos and description - but even better in person! It was easy to find, great parking and the views are just incredible! The cabin is bigger than it looks on the pictures and the quality/ attention to detail was perfect. We have stays in a few tiny homes/ cabins and can safety say this is the best we’ve had to the pleasure of staying in and will be back! If you’re a couple looking to explore the Isle of Skye then this cabin is perfect.

Great place to stay while exploring the local area. The apartment has everything you need including food and cooking basics. Spotless and comfortable. Welcoming to our children and dog. Beautiful spot with incredible views - only slight thing to be aware of is the power station next door but that didn't spoil our enjoyment at all.

We had a fantastic stay at Ardchiolle. We felt right at home, it was cosy and very well looked after and clean. This is clearly a well loved home, and we are grateful to our hosts for being so helpful! The view was absolutely stunning, we saw seals in the water and could enjoy the view of sunrise over the water too. Magical! We were lucky to have beautiful sunny weather, but we were almost sorry that we didn't have some rain as it would have been nice to stay in and watch the weather over the water. We were able to charge our EV on site, do laundry, and cook meals just as we would at home. Super convenient. Great location. Would have been happy staying longer, we had such a lovely time. If we return to Skye we would definitely stay here again.
