Ana is amazing, very attentive and very good people, the hostel is nice and very new, the bathrooms, the kitchen, everything is perfect and organized, and the area is great because it is close to the beach and you can look out the window and see the waves of the sea, I really recommend this place for all those people who want to come and relax a little, everything was very good. Two-bed room was very clean. The location is the very comfortable central strong point and close to the metro for those coming from the airport. The bathroom is common but it does not disturb because there is a direct access from the room.

Great accommodation. Mr. Paulo served me very well, all the staff are well educated. important point: I traveled alone, so this report will be valid for a trip for one person, maybe for a couple or groups the experience will be different. The amenities served me very well, a well-equipped kitchen inbreakxe can use it at will. # The only point that I believe should improve are the braids of the wardrobes in the bedrooms, which most do not lock with a lock. And the daily cleaning. I believe that because I stayed 3 days, they didn't clean my room once, they just changed the trash. Of the rest, it looks great. I recommend it!

Very close to walking from downtown and the main places of interest. The common areas are great and the environment very calm. It is to be appreciated for the capsules/bunk beds with curtain and lamp for more privacy compared to other hostels. A luxury to have the garden for your use. If I come back to Porto I won't hesitate to come back to stay here

Friendly service and free luggage before and after check in/out. Bread was heated for me when I came down for breakfast. there were only a couple other people in my room and no issues with using the bathrooms

Excellent treatment and welcome by everyone!! Always very attentive and give good recommendations!! Great for travelers who are alone and accompanied.

The wine is a beautiful hostel, the decor is beautiful, they have a good collection of the local Portuguese wines. The only trouble I faced was there wasn't an elevator, but they let me store my suitcase at the locker room. The staff and other travellers were very kind and I had amazing conversations with all of them! Thank you for having me!

I loved this stay! I felt very secure with a key to come in and out and a key to lock my belongings up. I loved that each bed had a covering where we could turn on our own personal light or fan without disturbing the others. Yes, the location was on a hill, but it was in a prime location next to a shopping area. All in all, it was a great stay! Plus, there was an adorable cat 🐱

Overall a very good experience. Before my stay, I asked if I could leave my bags for a few hours after checking out and they confirmed it digitally. When I dropped off my luggage, the woman at the front desk asked me pretty rude if I knew when I was going to check out and I told her I would have a prior confirmation as I had asked in advance at the hostel. She just reluctantly opened the door to the storage room for me. Apart from that person, all other interactions were excellent, as was the cleanliness.

Enjoyed my stay at the Douro Surf Hostel. Great location to walk down to the riverfront. Very responsive and helpful reception. All around easy place to stay while in Porto!

Extremely clean place, very cozy atmosphere and with great communal spaces. Now the most positive point is the location, perfect practically on the side of the subway station, has nearby supermarkets and places to eat, a quiet and very safe place!
