Waterfront vacation rentals in Porto District

Ana, is by far the best host I have ever met on airbnb. She had the time to meet us at the train station where it took only couple of minutes to her apartment. She showed the apartment and gave us a map with clear instructions how to navigate around Porto and what to see. Her apartment is in perfect condition and spotlessly clean. Bed sheets, linens, towels everything is so clean, like at your own place. I , personally have a problem that I cant sleep well with smelly or not very well washed linens. Hers was like home, perfect! Apartment is in a very nice area of the town, very close to attractions and city centre. I dont have enough words to describe how she took good care of us. If I will ever return to Porto, Ana is our first and only address. Thank you for your kindness and your handmade magnets will be on our refrigerator, for us to look and remember you and lovely Porto.

A very nice and clean apartment near the Douro, restaurants and most famous bridge. It is located in a steep street, but of course you can't get away from it in this city. We have enjoyed it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Maria’s Airbnb. The location,local restaurants was so appreciated. Maria was engaged in our stay,we felt very taken care of. The place was so clean 5 star. We would recommend Maria’s place a great place to explore Porto with local restaurants,great walking.

This is probably the most exclusive Airbnb in all of Porto. The location is one of a kind, and we were awestruck with the home. We loved the views and comfort. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating: they also went out of their way to help deliver some Amazon packages. We felt right at home, yet, transported to a magical space. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a late flight into Porto and didn’t arrive until after midnight. Maria was super accommodating and met us at the home, taking time to show us around and explain the home features. The home is just as the pictures look, very comfortable and in an amazing location.

Rogério was incredibly helpful during our stay, allowing us both an early check in and late check out which really enhanced our stay The apartment was as described and everything we needed for our stay, would recommend!

What an absolute gem this house is. Tucked into the beautiful forest near the banks of the Douro. Marisa met us on arrival and was so welcoming and helpful. The house was spotless and very well equipped. Completely private, we spent some wonderful evenings in the hot tub or just sitting on the veranda soaking up the peace and quiet of this lovely place.

Wow!! Stunning, stunning accommodation! Excellent and responsive communication from the hosts. We appreciated the early checkin. The welcome honey and other drinks received were very tasty. The house was easy to find with Rafael’s instructions and checkin was seamless. Everything was spotless with all needed amenities. It was fantastic to have BBQ’s with the river back drop or just to sit and enjoy the awesome environment. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. Definitely recommended, without any hesitation.

HC villa douro is a perfect little spot in Porto - and Clara, the host is so welcoming, kind and informative. The home is absolutely perfect with anything you could need - my kids especially loved the attic space and we found the kitchen and dining area perfect for our family of 6. The location is convenient - about a 10 min walk to the nova da gaia neighborhood and even closer to the port caves. Originally I was looking for something closer to the main historic sites (clerics tower etc) but after visiting the area I’m so glad we stayed where we did. It was a little more friendly/charming of an area - do not hesitate to book!

It was a wonderful stay. The pictures can’t describe how beautiful the location is. It is a working vineyard with lively wines. I would highly recommend it.

Bad weather didn't disturb my calm stay at Aguda's beach. Close to restaurants and the train station (Porto 20min), Aguda is a perfect spot for a rest, with the place right in front of the beach with fully functional facilities (including washing machine). Elisa was very reactive and attentive, which was greatly appreciated.

The view was absolutely amazing! We liked the layout of the unit with a balcony on the street and a bigger balcony with the river view. It was close to lots of great places with a short walk to Port houses, the park for sunsets, the bridge to the super busy Riberia neighborhood. It was ideal to stay in an area that has action in the day and quiets down at night.

Berta is a hospitable hostess. The apartment is in good condition, has everything you need. It is located in a nice place.

A beautiful apartment with absolutely everything you could need for a family holiday! Natacha’s place is spotlessly clean, lots of space and so many little extras it really felt like a home from home. The views of the sea and the sunset from the balcony were amazing! The pool was huge and clean and the surrounding area peaceful but close enough to Porto and Gaia by bike or a quick Uber ride. There is a boardwalk and cycle path just across the road that goes all the way down the beach to Porto. There is a supermarket nearby and some lovely beach bars and restaurants along the front. Natacha was a perfect host - friendly and very responsive and helpful with lots of ideas and suggestions for our stay. Our teenage girls loved the surf lessons that Natacha suggested and we had lots to do and lots of sights to see. Thank you Natacha for the perfect stay. We recommend 100% and would definitely stay again!

We felt more than at home in Joana’s beautiful Ribeira apartment. The design is truly elegant and efficient. We cooked a meal, enjoyed time together in the living space and slept soundly. The views across the Duoro river were fantastic. The apartment is quiet, comfortable and, in my slippers and robe, felt luxurious. The location is great. Joana and team were very friendly and helpful with plenty of suggestions for to offer. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I wish I could give 10 stars! This place is beyond amazing. The view is unbelievable and the whole apartment is gorgeous. They have everything you can think of and more. Paula met us and was helpful and sweet. I recommend paying for the private parking spot in the garage. It was very convenient. Can’t wait to return!

Hugo's apartment was perfect for our family trip to Porto. The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed for our stay, including heating. The terrace also offered beautiful views of the sea and the sound of the waves. Hugo was very communicative and helpful during the preparation of our stay. Great place to stay if you like ocean views and the sound of waves. Recommended without hesitation.

The place was great and a real gem in Porto. Close to the beach and into city as well. Claudia was very helpful throughout the time we were there with recommendations for things to eat and do around the area. Had a lovely time and will definitely look to stay here again 😊
