Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Portballintrae

This location is beautiful! The view is great, and the surroundings are so peaceful. It's in a tiny village, which is lovely, and walkable to the Fullerton Arms, a great local restaurant/hotel. Eoin's place is clean and comfortable, and was great for our party of 7. Eoin was also very responsive, especially as we were traveling to his place after a bad rental experience the night before. He put our minds at ease right away and we enjoyed our stay.

A simply beautifully presented and apportioned home with impeccable decor and styling. Immaculate throughout. We arrived on a cold, wet and windy evening and our host (David) had left us a full basket of kiln dried logs, kindling and lighters..........within minutes we had a beautiful roaring hearth fire. Great car parking. Easy walkable access into Portrush along the gorgeous sea front. Excellent instructions for guests on how to operate the heating, hot water etc as well as recommendations for local restaurants and tourist attractions etc. Will definitely return to this property and David was super communicative, friendly and helpful. Very well done David.......you have set a high bar in Airbnb benchmark terms.

We really enjoyed our stay. Andrew is a well organised and attentive host. The house itself was spotless and very well equipped. The location is perfect for exploring the North Coast. Would strongly recommend it to anyone with the added plus that it is dog friendly. Hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage - the location is amazing - right next to the beach with wonderful views. We were a group of family and friends celebrating my birthday and we could not have picked a better cottage and location. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the open fire in the living room. We hope to return to explore some more of this beautiful coastline.

Fantastic little house in Ballymena. We booked for a wedding, stayed for the weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Comfortable, plenty of amenities, spacious and well appointed. Ryan is a great host and really good communication throughout. We’d definitely stay again

We had a great stay at Louise’s place in Ballycastle. The house was even nicer than the photos, really cosy and homely, also spotlessly clean. Kitchen had everything we could need and beds were super comfy. The house is hidden behind the Main Street so easy to walk into the town or down to the beach but it felt quite private, despite being so central there was no noticeable noise at night. Hosts responded to everything very quickly and were very accommodating with check in and out times. Would definitely stay again.

Set in the perfect location near the Giant's Causeway and many other attractions, we really enjoyed our stay at Ingrid's place. It's is nicely appointed and right across the street from the ocean. Wonderfully quiet in the offseason, we walked some of the trails and drove along the coast. We would happily stay at Ingrid's again!

Willie and Nicky's place is amazing! it was so clean smelt great! the view was stunning! we could have gazed out the window at the sea all day! there are loads of games and dvds for kids! an absolutely amazing stay! would definitely stay again!

This apartment is in a great location, close to the promenade & it has an amazing view. Lots of great eating places close by so we did not cook a lot but every in apartment if you prefer to cook.

The Camus House was 5 stars all around! This place went beyond our expectations. The interior and setting was so cozy, clean, and peaceful. The host went above and beyond with providing fresh breakfast items - so incredibly thoughtful and helpful. A perfect location if you are exploring the causal coast area (car required for this airbnb). Couldn't recommend enough!

Stunning views! Friendly [adorable sheep] neighbors. Very chic/modern apartment. Worth noting the bathroom/wet room is downstairs. Would definitely recommend.

We spent 2 days at the Cottage in late Sept and could easily have spent more, the cottage was so peaceful, everything we needed was on hand and loved the log burner. Iris was very friendly but not intrusive, loads of maps/guidebooks to help plan your adventures. Our only regret was that it was a bit wet to explore the lovely garden and woodland walk. Would love to return some day.

We had a family pre-wedding gathering and it was more than spacious for our party of 10. Probably could have fit 4 more people without any problem. Loved large kitchen and the automated cofee machine, enjoyed many lovely cappucinos. Was lovely to be greeted with welcome proseccos. The grounds are lovely, and host met us to do initial walkthrough and start the wood-fired hot tub. Location convenient to all the causeway coast attractions and close to town to buy groceries or get takeaway.

Outstanding views and lovely position on the edge of the golf course and so easy to walk down onto the beautiful beach. Decor internally all good and kitchen well stocked with utensils etc. Very useful welcome box with milk, granola, yoghurt and bread. Ruth was very helpful and checked we had got in ok. The road just behind the house was not too busy, a little noise but views and property easily outweigh that.

Loved the house, the pictures don’t do it justice and a couple of minutes walk from the beach made it perfect for the dog as well. Bit of a blip at the start of the stay but not something that is likely to ever come up again and Dianne couldn’t have been more responsive or helpful. Great house with a great host.

Our stay at the Old Bushmills Barn was simply perfect! The accommodation was not only gorgeous but also exceptionally comfortable, with hotel-like beds that made for restful nights, and the entire space was spotless. Jasper, the friendly host, was warm and accommodating, offering fantastic dinner recommendations and even allowing us a little extra time at checkout. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, including a steamer for our suits and dresses—a thoughtful touch that made our wedding stay so much easier. The location itself is ideal, offering easy access to local attractions while still feeling wonderfully private. The building was simply beautiful inside & out, with stunning architecture that added to its charm. The grounds were equally breathtaking, featuring scenic green gardens and a tennis court that made our stay feel even more luxurious. It was a true home away from home. We highly recommend the Old Bushmills Barn for an unforgettable stay.

Jasper was a great host! He set the hottub up for us on arrival and was very responsive to messages throughout the entire stay! The house was decorated and furnished beyond any other air bnb we’ve stayed at before and everything about it was great :) Convenient to the train station and shops like tesco and restaurants in the town with riverside shopping centre close by too. Couldn’t fault it 10/10!
