We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay, easy walk to shops and restaurants and some cellar doors. Very comfortable home and wonderful kitchen. Thanks Sue !!

What a great, character-filled stay in Melrose. We were going to camp but it was looking a bit hot for early November so we found this place. The kids couldn't believe their luck! comfy beds, very clean, the aircon in the upstairs loft sleeping area came in handy in the late afternoons. Right near a cute park where we cooked a bbq for dinner. Very basic kitchenette as advertised. Wonderful creaky old barn. We will definitely be back. thanks Alan.

We had a lovely stay. The home was thoughtfully appointed and very comfortable. Even a little bit of luxury. We were very happy.

Very nice little pad, well appointed, clean and tidy. Good place to explore the area from. Only issue, no shady spot to sit outside when returning on a hot afternoon. I'm sure there will be plans for this though going forward. Nice local swimming pool to cool off.

This place was really secluded, private with beautiful surroundings. The spa was a perfect way to wind down after a long day of visiting wonderful wineries/breweries around the area. The breakfast provided was so generous and could have lasted the four of us for at least another day. Would highly recommend for a small group or a couple to enjoy this hidden treasure in Clare!

We loved our stay at Margys and can’t wait to come back later this week on our return trip home. It is a beautiful spot, which feels cosy and private. We were stoked to get a stunning pink sunset while we sat on the deck looking at the ocean with a glass of wine. This little place is pure bliss 🥰

Great location and amazing outdoor area!

I'm a return visitor to Clare & can't rate Kath's lovely home high enough. Her attention to detail & thoughtfulness to ensure you could have everything you could possibly need to ensure you have a comfortable stay goes above & beyond. From a kitchen decked out with every utensil etc you would have in your own home, to all the thoughtful extras to welcome you & set the tone for a lovely getaway she has covered it all. The photos don't do her beautiful home justice. Wonderful location, parked the car & walked to all the great things Clare has to offer, reisling trail, main St, wineries restaurants etc. Thanks again Kath, hope to stay again in the future.

A beautiful place in a beautiful location. Our two young boys loved the place, spent all day in the pool and playing in the big open spaces available. We were greeted by Kangaroos in the morning and amazing sunsets at night. My wife and I enjoyed the riesling trail and some the local wineries and restaurants (great recommendations provided by Lucy the host) Lucy was a great host, very responsive and very clear on entry and exit requirements. An amazing place for people of all ages

Stayed 2 nights over New Years. Nice place, super relaxing atmosphere. We had 3 couples, worked perfectly for all of us even with the one toilet. Nice brewery only a few minute walk away to chill out, have a beverage and pizza.

Great place to stay only 25 mins out of Whyalla. Way better value for money than staying at the caravan if travelling with a group of people. Everything you need from Kayaks, BBQ and a fish cleaning station. Amazing location, particularly when the tide is up it is magic! In the process of swapping to ducted air con throughout the home, not having a working split system in one of the rooms wasn’t great for a couple of hot days however. Aside from this everything was great. Will visit again!
