Vacation rentals in Melrose

Great beach property, very quiet, great views from most windows, cracker views when on upper deck (upstairs), lovely verandahs on both west and east sides - needed in that part of the world. Note that one of the bedrooms with queen bed is only accessible via stairs from outside, the other two are in the main house part. It's an older place that has been renovated; great kitchen (reno), lots of utensils, pots etc, cracker fridge, big TVs everywhere.

Beautiful and peaceful. The home was clean and comfortable and very homely. well worth the price.

Carly and Lachie were wonderful hosts. Atco Hut is amazing has everything you need we especially appreciated full sized fridge with ice making facility. The location is outstanding if you enjoy the sounds of the Australian bush. The Hut although close to the main house is totally self contained and private. We thoroughly enjoyed the ongoing presence and company of Colby and Brie ( Border Collies) .

This majestic old home with its beautiful timber floors, modern kitchen and spacious bedrooms immediately made us feel right at home! The beds were comfortable and there are plenty of heating and/or cooling options available to suit the needs of every discerning visitor. The milk, eggs, bread, cereals and variety of condiments provided confirm the attention to detail in Alex's place! The location is great and only about 150m from the main shopping areas.

The cottage was a wonderful surprise when we opened the door. The decor is warm and welcoming with great decoration. The kitchen if fully equipped so we were not short of any cooking tools or serving items. It was so nice to have some condiments and milk in the fridge on our arrival. The beds are so comfortable and lovely pillows. The bedrooms are decorated as if you were in your own home. The bathroom is bright and so many soft towels for us to use (3 women needed that). The backyard and garden is beautiful. Your outdoor furniture is comfortable and conducive to conversations while sitting out at night having dinner. Nice to have an outside toilet in the laundry shed - not really a shed as the inside looks like the area should be in the cottage!!! We were not short for any amenities. Leah has a beautiful cottage to stay in, it's like being in your own home and is very convenient to grocery stores, pubs, takeaway, etc. We would definitely stay again if in Port Augusta.

Loved our stay. The home is a grand old dame from a bygone era. Furnishings were in keeping with the huge rooms. It was a dream to stay in!

Beautiful comfortable accommodation, nice and clean and plenty of room for my daughter and me. We enjoyed the attention to detail and the fresh fruit was a welcoming treat. The hosts are friendly and hospitable. Such a relaxing place to stay.
