Stunning property From the moment we walked in the gate, we were on holiday. This is a very special property as described. Beautiful outdoor area with fabulous pool and furniture. Inside felt like a beach house, beautifully furnished with beach style furnishings. Beds were so comfy. Both bathrooms offered high end fittings. The kitchen left us wanting for nothing, a huge range of cutlery, glassware, crockery and top of the range appliances. A great space for our 7 guests. Highly recommend this property. A super location to visit The Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest and so much more.

All that you could want in a holiday house. Loved the pool, peaceful location and quick walk to the shops. The hosts were very responsive and provided a lovely list of recommendations for food and activities.

We chose Lilah Blue for the beauty of the landscapes but especially because it offers a good base to access a wide variety of promising birding sites. We stayed for 1 month and were not disappointed; lists of the 195 species observed during our stay are available on eBird. If you are a birdwatcher, here are our 5 favorite sites: Hasties Swamp National Park, Barron River Mouth, Cattana Wetlands, Mount Hypipamee NP and Pickford Rd (Mareeba). In addition to the birds, Ruth welcomed us well and was attentive to our requests regarding Lilah Blue which, although rustic, was comfortable with all the necessary to prepare our meals.

Great location would recommend. Fit 7 adults comfortably and the pool was nice.

Fantastic place to stay. Close to everything. Wonderful that they allowed pets. Heaps of room and aircons worked well. The BBQ was a wonderful addition. Would stay again.

Absolutely loved our stay here. So peaceful and plenty of room for the whole family. Pool was great as was the walks in the area with the beach less than 5 minutes away. Will was very responsive with a couple of minor issues soon sorted. Loved it so much we have booked already to return. Highly recommend.

Beautiful outlook, house was clean and tidy. There wasn't a long list of things guests were not to do and this made it feel more welcoming than some of the othere Airbnb places we have stayed in. We would definitely stay again.

We loved staying here. Plenty of room, with no clutter which is what we like. Garage has a roller door so your car is safe. Beach is close (walking distance). There’s a small shop that does great takeaway food. This accomodation is close to Mossman. We definitely would stay here again.

Joseph’s place was a great location in Trinity Beach which was an easy walk to the beach and cafes. The place was well equipped with everything to make our stay great We appreciated that Joseph was always quick and warm to respond to with communication.

This is such an easy house to kick back & relax in! The layout is perfect & it’s so open & airy. The pool is central to the house & entertainment area. Perfect for families with kids. So many bathrooms we didn’t even use them all! Nice short walk to Palm Cove for our morning coffee 😊

We enjoyed staying at Kay’s place. The house was beautiful, comfy, the pool and games were a great amenities. The house had an easy access for our big SUV and safe surroundings. The beds were big and enough for 5 of us. We def recommend Kay’s place for your next port Douglas holidays 😊

We had such a wonderful experience at this Airbnb! As a young family, the spacious layout was ideal for us, giving everyone room to relax after a busy day exploring. The location was absolutely perfect — just a short walk/drive to the Esplanade, playgrounds, and plenty of family-friendly dining options. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and felt so welcoming. The host was incredibly thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and will absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Cairns! Highlights being a fully equipped kitchen, toys for the kids and snacks on snacks.

So we glad we chose this house for our stay in Cairns. We wanted to experience a Queenslander style house and we loved the ambience and the airflow afforded by the house’s design. The weather was lovely when we were there and we spend most of our time on the large porch. The house is in a good location with plenty of things within walking distance and a bit apart from the main touristic area. There is a wonderful creek-side walking path close by which we used to walk towards downtown and we even used it to walk north to the Botanic Garden. If you prefer something with a bit more character than a condo in a large building, consider staying here. We would definitely stay here again if we make it to Cairns in another visit.

You couldn't ask for a more welcoming host or a more beautiful cottage! It is such a sweet little oasis, with lush tropical gardens to explore. Wendy went above and beyond. The kids loved the pool and all of the scooters/bikes. A perfect getaway for the whole family.

Lovely place to stay! Very responsive hosts that couldn’t do enough for you, really helpful in every way but also felt very private. Lots of cool spots to check out with a car, only a short drive to Cairns. 10/10 stay.

John was easy to deal with and very friendly. Location was perfect. Fabulous coffee around the corner and plenty of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. Unit was clean and had all the necessary equipment. Bed was particularly comfortable (firm). Very private even though it is right in the town.

It’s a bit cliche, but Kaye’s place really was a home away from home for our 10 day stay! Light, bright and spacious inside, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, with a fully equipped , modern kitchen, large lounge/dining, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, in a nice quiet court with your own pool and tropical garden surround, 🌴🌺🍹what more could you want? 🤷‍♀️😉 Peaceful and private, homey accommodation much better than a Cairns hotel room or a characterless apartment block. Can recommend

Our family loved our stay at Possum Cottage! Filled with natural light, high ceilings, and plenty of air flow, we felt very comfortable staying here. We had small children, grandparents, and our dog! And we all had plenty of space to be together or find our own space if needed. Thank you, Wendy & Onn, excellent hosts!
