House vacation rentals in Poros

This is a place grown from warmth and love…. From the vegetables, fruits and olives all around the site, to the comfortable accommodation, to the communal bar/kitchen, everything is cultivated organically and imbued with Katerina and the team’s love and passion for this delightful oasis. We stayed for 10 days - welcomed from the off with warmth and care. We took it very easy, lounging on the beach, bobbing in the sea, exploring the local area (Galatas and Poros town). It was exactly the sort of break we needed.

This architectural house has a magnificent view on the sea from all rooms on the three floors as well as the great terrace & the pool. A big garden surrounds it. The interior is nicely furnished with all equipment you need. You need a car to get there. Perdika (harbour with lots of nice restaurants) is about 10 minutes away, Klima beach only a few minutes. We have truly enjoyed our stay!

It is a great place to stay on Aegina Island. It is a bit further from the beach (10 minutes walking) and from the village of Perdika (20 minutes), but it has a great view and a peaceful neighborhood instead. With 6 + 1/2 bedrooms and 2 kitchens and 5 bathrooms it is a great place for bigger companies or families. When the outside BBQ/grill machine didn't work we got a brand new replacement in one day - really appreciated. The pool is comfortable and has clear water to swim in it. Thank you for the super holiday time - we may come back again.

How to say, if you are looking for tranquility, rest, sun, a beautiful sea view,a jacuzzi for relaxation , in a charming town, this cycladic house will charm you as it charmed us! Sue is a welcoming, pleasant and responsive host. We can only recommend this slice of heaven!

This was our second stay at Marc’s place and it continued to meet our requirements for quiet, comfortable and spacious accommodation in Hydra. The accommodation is located on the flatter area of the village, just before it gets too steep. It is far enough away from the centre to avoid the crowds and night time noise, yet close enough to walk there in a few minutes. Like many Greek villages, the house may not be suited for those with mobility issues. The house itself has a number of steps and the approaching laneways are cobbled which can make dragging luggage a bit awkward (although using one of the local baggage trolley operators can address the latter issue). As the description indicates, it has a large outdoor area and the plunge pool is great if you need to cool off on a hot day. Even though it’s surrounded by other buildings Marc’s place is very private. We found Marc’s place to be perfect for our needs and would happily recommend it to others.

We were in Hydra for a friend's wedding/honeymoon and had the pleasure of staying here. The villa is spectacular, set across 4 different levels, its great for friends/family staying together who want some privacy. Views from the different terraces are stunning. the pool was fresh (Mid-Sept) but great to dive into having walked up the steps. Great book collections for holiday reads etc. Shops with all basic needs are around 2-3 min walk away. I only met Daniela briefly but she was on hand for anything we needed and have us a heads up when the gardener / cleaner was coming in.

Amazing house with greats views, really quite and peaceful. Loved the yard and the pool. Dimitris was really polite and responsive to every request we had and the service in general was to the point.

We loved Elena's place. It has a lot of charm, it is well designed and thought through. It has all that one can need, in a beautiful environment, with lots of things to do. Thanks a lot Elena for letting us stay in such a nice place.

Really friendly welcome from Niki! Correct accommodation for 2 adults and 2 children. Clean and well equipped with a lovely garden and a pleasant outdoor space for eating out. Parking spot in front of the house. Conveniently located for visiting the surroundings: not far from Epidaurus, 30 min from Methana and Poros, 50 min from Nafplio, 1 hour drive to take the ferry to Hydra. We had a great stay and would gladly come back.

The place with the best views in Poros. The house is amazing and has absolutely all the comforts for a family. It's wonderful to see the sunrise and moonrise from the comforts of your bed and to have dinner on the wonderful terrace. Extremely hospitable hosts who, in a crisis situation we had during our vacation were ready to help us immediately. We loved it so much that we travelled all the way back to Poros next year just to be in this wonderful place again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Konstantinos’s house. The location is in many ways ideal- close enough to the port to make everything convenient but just removed enough to feel quiet and private. This is clearly the home of a cultivated family, with a collection of books and objects that suggest a refined eye. The house may not be for everyone: there are very steep interior stairs (which don’t have to be used), and no stand-up shower. But otherwise it was a comfortable and pleasant place with a real sense of special-ness.

Lovely place! Nice big balcony and very welcome air con. The walk up the hill isn’t too hard so don’t be put off. Internet speed leaves a little to be desired.

Amazing week on Hydra at Tracy’s place. Warm welcome at the harbor with Tracy organizing a donkey to take our bags to the house. Beautiful property, thoughtfully designed, and very clean. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve experienced — thank you so much!

To me the biggest plus of this modest house is the view from the terrace: we really enjoyed watching the view on the mountain at breakfast. It's in a very quiet area of town, and twice a day you see the mules walk by the doorstep on their way to/from work.

The view is incredible to the island of Poros, the two terraces allow you to enjoy the best view of Poros, the house is located in the upper part of Galatas, very quiet area and no neighbors nearby. Maria is an exceptional person, she has the house with all kinds of details,it is always predisposed, we indicate beaches, tourist points, restaurants. Absolutely stunning view! We went outside of prime tourism season on purpose, and it was so beautiful and peaceful. We were met at the water taxi for help getting our luggage up to the house (thanks, Spiros!) and our host was very responsive and helpful with questions - and tons of great local recommendations! It is up about 50 stairs from the small harbor, so tough if anyone in your party has mobility issues. But the experience is absolutely worth it! Highly recommend.

Everything about the house is magical. We loved the old architecture, the location, proximity to swimming, everything. You need to know that it's quite an upward journey from the port, so be ready to climb about 300 steps in total to get to the house. The good thing is that there are mules available to take your bags and you can take your time on the cute walk up. There is a nice mini supermarket about 8 minutes walking from the house, excellent restaurants and swimming only 5 minutes away. The views are breathtaking. We absolutely loved it and area already excited about coming back next year!

Lovely stay at Sonya’s place in Hydra. It is a very clean and compact space that has all you need. The area is extremely charming and it’s a very short walk down to the restaurants and the port (takes longer to get back up the steps!). Highly recommended, thank you Sonya.

The house is great , the location is great and beautiful . If I should find a drawback , I would say the condition of the streets in the area , but this is for the whole of Argolida and of course not the owner . It has a nice view , it is clean and beautiful and big plus the existence of a barbecue if you have a talent for baking .

We loved this beautiful house and hosts so very much. It was a little slice of heaven, close to walk to the bay to swim and sit in the sun. We loved walking and it was always so lovely to come 'home' at the end of the day. Hosts were absolutely delightful.

Great location, clean, good size and overall a really nice place. Had a great time Chryssoula had really easy instructions and was very responsive. Would recommend and stay again if I’m back in Hydra.
