Such a great location with your own private Spa facilities & kitchen. This was perfect for our Birthday weekend getaway. There were lots of thoughtful details like face masks, plenty of towels, robes and slippers. It was so lovely to wake up to views of the River from sitting in bed and hearing the birds right out of the window. Such a great place and we would definitely go back again! Thanks so much

This is probably the most beautiful glamping spot I’ve ever had. As the night drew in the view over to Corfe castle was absolutely spectacular. The view was so lovely that for once in my life I decided to get up at dawn to soak in the view - I’m never up that early! The pod itself was pristine and really cosy, with all the amenities you’ll need. The kitchen was also spotless, which is impressive for a camp style kitchen. But the thing that impressed me most about the facilities was was bathroom - a possible candidate for the cleanest composting loo in the UK! Plus a hot shower! After a day of hiking it was just west I needed. I’d definitely stay here again and would thoroughly recommend the pods to anyone.

Claire was very welcoming and attentive . Getting in touch to make sure we were able to find the accommodation, checking we had everything we needed and providing recommendations of local places to go that are dog friendly. The accommodation was just as pictured, clean, modern and comfortable . It was a nice touch that there was an active Roku to watch movies etc. We were only staying for a very short period but it was a very pleasant comfortable one. I would recommend a stay with Claire at the Gem. It was also very good value for money.

Just back from a fantastic 3 night stay for 2 adults, 1 child and a dog. The cottage was pristine, well stocked, in a great location, with walking distance to see the wild ponies and to the local pub (great food and drinks there, would also recommend). Lesley was a fab host with good communication before, during and after our stay. If anyone is looking for a stay in the New Forest, it’s a great place to base yourself.

We had the most fantastic stay! Best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. We saw a baby deer 🦌 on the tennis courts. The wood walks which are a 1 minute walk away were incredible. The games room was great fun. Honestly 10/10 on absolutely everything, the room was amazing, comfortable, roomy. The staff were all so friendly. We got to fed the chicken and has fresh eggs for breakfast. We stayed for 3 night but wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be returning. There is an amazing spa nearby, great Sunday dinner at the thimble inn. A playground for the children too. I can't wait to bring our future children here! Thank you to everyone who gave us such a great stay. I heard rumours of alpacas, that would be an incredible addition to an already fantastic place!

We had the BEST one night stay, we regretted only booking one night. Host was so helpful and nothing was too much to ask. Pre ordered pizza and was ready before they anticipated so bought to our tent. Location is nothing short of stunning and toilets were very clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable and the tent was beautiful. Couldn’t fault it in anyway and we are already looking forward to out next stay. Thanks so much!!

First the facts, it’s a tent in a small field with an outside toilet and shower. Now the magic, totally secluded, impeccably clean, horses just behind you. Cute fairy lights decorating the tents and the toilet. We spent a day in the New Forest then had a lovely meal at the top of the lane which leads down to Michael’s place. This is a must even if only just having a drink as its outside setting is unbelievable ,sat by the river on comfy egg chairs. We then sat outside our tent with a fire lit, toasting marshmallows, with peaceful surroundings then had the best nights sleep. Next day we had a drive to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, a must. Great location, accessible to loads of places. Clean, tidy and very relaxed. Will definitely book again. Thank you Michael.

WOW!!! What a lovely getaway this was, me and 7 friends went for my birthday and we couldn’t be more grateful - the whole place was in perfect condition, every en-suite had shampoo & shower gel, everything was spotless, the beds were so comfy and all the bedrooms had their own unique cosy vibe. If you’re above 6” you may need to bend down a few times to get around but it’s all worth it. The kitchen had all the utensils you needed and we had a lovely BBQ in the garden. Great selection of board games in the living room and the hot tub was a perfect way to end the evening. Definitely Recommend!!
