Condo vacation rentals in Point Loma, San Diego

Ashley’s condo is spectacular, with high ceilings and enormous windows. We walked less than a mile to Balboa Park, and a few nearby restaurants. The hills are steep going to Little Italy - less than a mile - so we walked down but took Uber back. The beds are low to the floor but worked for us. The plane noise was noticeable on our first night, but we quickly acclimated and did not notice it often after that. Kitchen is very well set up for cooking and serving. Ashley quickly responded to questions.

Great location and great property. Lots of great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Pacific beach is very close and we found the walk the best part of the stay. Would recommend to anyone who wants to spend some time in this beautiful property

In a very nice area. Easy to find easy to walk to the beach. Not far from restaurants. The unit is as described. Is small but doable for a couple or solo traveler even with a dog. Sofa could use replacing but otherwise is very nice. Would recommend

What a wonderful surprise this place was! We came to town for an event and stumbled on this listing. It was a beautiful clean space, and just steps away from a huge glorious beach. We took a long walk on the beach and saw seal pups, many people picnicking with their kids, a wedding, and a stunning sunset. The coffee place around the corner was also delicious with a friendly vibe. The kitchen was well stocked when we made a dish for a potluck and the unit has 2 bathrooms which feels like a rare feature. We would happily come back again.

We had a great stay at Ashwini’s condo. It was clean and comfortable. Fantastic location with great coffee shops and restaurants right next store. You can’t beat the location between the ocean and the bay. Ashwini checked in on us to make sure everything was good and was very responsive. Highly recommended

We had a great stay at anchors away. The location is a street from the beach and across the way from the bay. Kitchen was well equipped and host was very responsive. As other reviewers mentioned it can be noisy at night, especially on weekends because of the proximity to the road. We would definitely stay again!

Great location and beautiful views. Lots of places for walking and a short ride to restaurants and shops.

We cannot say bough about Mindy’s home. The location is very hard to top - as you only need to walk out the front door and across the public lot and you are on Torrey Pines beach ! We have walked to Del Mar for breakfast as it is a short walk. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated. Mindy is very gracious and easily reached for any questions. This was our second stay and we have booked stay number 3 already !!

Carl’s place looked exactly like the pictures. It was perfect for my boyfriend and I. Very walkable with lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Carl was friendly and very accommodating when we had to leave early due to family emergency.

Very nice condo in a great location. Managers were very prompt with responses to all questions that we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Ryan was extremely responsive and a great host that catered to all of our needs for our short stay there. Was extremely understanding and worked with us to make our stay the most comfortable as it could have been. Highly recommended!

Home was everything listed in the description. Having garage parking in this area was PERFECT! Very walkable to downtown shops and restaurants. Home is near Balboa Park and all it has to offer... Overlooking the bay and airport was pretty neat as well. Savannah & Anthony were also very helpful with local recommendations. Homelessness is the area is prevalent. But the home itself (and garage) is gated and feels safe and secure. I would stay here again if returning to the area.

Everything went really well! Nicole was very helpful and responded with help very quickly. The place was very clean and felt fresh. The couch and the bed were very comfortable and it felt like home. The bathtub has jets and is like a mini hot tub. Location is near the action, but is tucked away on a quiet and very cute street. Street parking only, but we were able to find a place right in front every time. Some things to be aware of is that there is no central ac/heat, but there is a window ac and radiator/space heater. This makes the temperature hard to regulate, but wasn’t a huge problem. Another issue was sound proofing; the place did not feel as private with the walls being so thin to the outside. However, it still felt cozy and very safe.

My husband and I stayed at Beach Bungalow 4 from 1/31/25 - 2/14/25. The location is ideal - close to shops, restaurants, activities and the beach! Living room & bedroom were spacious, along with the well-stocked updated kitchen. Plenty of paper products (toilet paper & paper towels) for our 2-week stay. Great bed & bath linens. I especially appreciated the washer/dryer with provided detergent - so convenient to not return home with loads of laundry to do. There are 4 Beach Bungalows in this complex. It’s very quiet - never heard any of the other folks. Private parking was a huge plus. Well-lit at night with motion-detection lighting to our bungalow. I had one question for Rose pre-checkin - she answered promptly. The Welcome Book has everything you need to enjoy this unit, along with some recommendations for restaurants & activities. Instructions for operating the 2 TVs were helpful - we were able to watch the Super Bowl. I would stay again at this great bungalow! Thank you, Rose!

Great location and access. Lea was very repsonsive with answering questions. I've rented plenty of beach houses over the years and when you hear "Condo" you might think of classic condo where you share a big common wall. Not the case here. You have the entire back half of the house, while the other tenants have the front. The good thing about this setup is you are the only one walking on top of yourself. Garage is separated - not shared - so no stress about your neighbor taking up too much space with a big SUV. Beach chairs, boogy boards, washer/dryer all make this much easier than to have to bring all that yourself (okay you are not bringing a washer/dryer... but less clothes because of it!) Would rent again.

Fabulous location overlooking the San Diego Bay. Steps from the beach, and endless activities. Justin’s apartment is nicely stocked from the kitchen, to bedrooms, and the balcony is superb. You can’t go wrong with this rare find! Justin is an outstanding host.

The condo has spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, the PB pier, dolphins (binocular provided), and the best boardwalk in San Diego. The boardwalk has a plethora of restaurants, coffee shops, charming beach houses, and gift shops and it stretches for miles along the ocean. The underground parking was fine for our RAV4 and there is plenty of street parking nearby. It was surprisingly quiet at night with respectful neighbors. The jacuzzi was decent with hot water, strong jets, and fits four comfortably. The bed was very comfortable and the firmness can be adjusted. We loved our stay there with the waves soothing us, surfers, sunsets, dolphins, and the best walks by the ocean.

Thomas was a good host. Although it took us a while to connect, once we connected, he was very responsive. Overall good experience, though the watered down soap was a bit weird. Parking was expensive but that’s the area. Would recommend to anyone staying in Gaslamp.

Great place for staying

We loved Vivian’s condo. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas,and she left us a seasonal welcome basket.The unit was spotlessly clean and cozy.The bed was very comfortable with a high quality mattress and the washer/dryer was an extra huge plus. The unit was extremely well stocked with everything we needed and only five minutes walk to a major mall.Vivian was a very kind,generous and responsive host she frequently checked in with us.Thank you so much Vivian.You are truly a SuperHost.

Stayed 4 nights with my partner and toddler and what a great place and hosts! By far the friendliest and most accommodating. Natasha made us feel right at home, ensuring we had everything we needed before check-in. Stellar communication during our stay and very responsive. The extra toilet paper and paper towels left on the doorstep helped to spot the apt too! We really appreciated the flexibility with our reservation. Asked for a late check out as our flight wasn't until 4 and Natasha was glad to help. This saved hours in the airport but most notably my son was able to finish napping which set us up for success on the way home. This stay felt more like house sitting for family/friends than a typical Airbnb. Only issue was trying to come/go with a stroller...didn't see a ramp or entrance without stairs, probably just overlooked it. Neighborhood is very walkable w/ lots to explore. Our last stop was the farmers market which was excellent too! Definitely recommend and would stay again!!!

We stayed here for a few days and really enjoyed it! The condo was very cozy and felt like home. We even enjoyed the hot tub one night, which was really nice after a long day of walking. The location is really nice because it’s near the freeway and was conveniently near everything we wanted to do. Cresentia was very friendly, responsive host, and had clear instructions about where everything was. Thank you for having us!
