Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Plaza Area, Kansas City

A hidden gem in KC! We wanted to be in the city, but not in the craziness of it. This rental is in a peaceful neighborhood with restaurants within walking distance and yet it was easy to drive or Uber over to other parts of KC. The apartment is spacious, clean, nicely decorated, bright and inviting. This old house had charm with all of the desired modern amenities. All basic bathroom amenities were well stocked (soap shampoo, hair dry, etc). Our hosts provided some snacks and beverages to welcome us in. While the kitchen does not have an oven/stove, the induction burner and microwave were more than enough to allow us to fix breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The tea and coffee provide were greatly appreciated. Our hosts were extremely responsive to all messages and very clear in their communications. I definitely recommend staying there and hope to go back again.

Luxurious and beautiful apartment, with all the amenities, very friendly neighbors, in the center of Downtown with a lot of security! Caleb is an incredible person, very professional and also open to collaborate at all times, I would stay here again!

This apartment was very clean. Sleek and minimalist design which is fine since most people visiting aren’t planning on staying at their lodging much. Very communicative and easy instructions! Would definitely rent again.

Construction made it a tad difficult to find the entrance, however, Savannah’s instructions were so specific and the staff was so helpful we were able to enter quickly. The location was perfect and within walking distance to so many fun things and it was quiet, safe, and secure. Would highly recommend!

We stay in KC several weeks out of the year for family stuff and this was the first time staying downtown. We enjoyed our stay very much - from the little surprises/treats left by the hosts to the awesome amenities (common areas & gym), we highly recommend Rob & Brenda's place. The apt was clean, comfy and very well appointed. The hosts provided very detailed instructions to check in and keep them updated with surrounding construction and checked in throughout the Stay. The security desk is super helpful for any additional questions. The surrounding area is clean and quiet all while being super easy to access the highway.

Great older home with lots of charm. We loved being close to everything. Lots to offer in walking distance and only a short drive from downtown.

The place was clean and a great place to spend a night in. The host was responsive and helpful with giving clear instructions for checking in. The neighborhood is very nice as well as the space. I would stay here again!

Our stay at the Orange Door in Parkville was great, thanks to the hosts. The house was clean, organized and as advertised. Our two girls loved the toys in the game room downstairs. We had plenty of space and the house was in a great location for us. We would absolutely stay at the Orange Door again when visiting Parkville in the future! We appreciated their flexibility at check in. We traveled out of state and had lots of luggage for our family and were able to unpack our car before the posted check in time, which was a huge help.

We had a fantastic stay here (4 adults, 2 kids). Very clean, well laid out and homey. Had everything we needed. Do know before you book that it’s a little ways out there and about 15 minutes from most food, coffee, grocery places. But the value for money can’t be beat. Would definitely stay here again if it works for our plans.

The place was so nice! Sara even went out of her way to communicate with me the snow conditions because she knew we were in a uhaul. Would definitely recommend!

Don't judge a book by its cover!!! The outside could use a good clean up, some landscaping and a power wash. But the inside is cozy and charming!!! Lots of room for our group of 7 to sit around and relax! Plus, it's a really old house, with unique character. Not all of us slept good as some of the beds were rough, but everyone sleeps different. We just put air mattresses on top two of the beds for the second night. That is my only complaint about the house!!! The area has so many places to eat, all within walking distance. Along with a lot of other places and things to do. Just a short drive to downtown Kansas City too. I definitely will be booking again when we come back in a few months!

We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of space. Everything was clean and well stocked with towels and linens. The home appeared to be recently renovated and the stairs and upstairs area were super creaky while walking around but otherwise it was great. I would be sure to read through the rules as there fees for early check in and some other items which I have not encountered with other hosts. Otherwise it was a great stay in a good location.

Very clean, flexible, and the hospitality was awesome! After long days out and about the beds were very comfortable! Did not bring the littles this trip but if I would have it is VERY kid friendly including retractable baby gates on stairs! Would stay here again!

We have stayed here multiple times and will continue to. The location is perfect, the place is so cute while also being functional and has a luxurious jet bathtub, and the people are so accommodating and easy to work with!

Perfect place for our weekend stay!! Close to everything we wanted to do while in KC! The unit was extremely clean with all the extras you need to make you feel right at home! We really enjoyed playing the board games at night after the days activities! Parking was no problem. Easy check-in/check-out!!! Would definitely stay again!!

My sister’s family and my family came together for a few days, and this house was absolutely perfect for bringing the cousins together. There were plenty of games to keep everyone entertained, and the neon signs and trendy decor created such a fun and unique vibe. The location was incredibly convenient, and the beds were so comfortable. The house had everything we needed, and more! We’d definitely stay here again!

Great, convenient spot that was perfect for a short stay while I transitioned to a longer term place in Kansas City. Could easily have stayed longer though. Great living space and view over the Plaza. Adam is a great communicator and made things really easy.
