Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Plaza Area, Kansas City

After contemplating getting a hotel downtown, I also compared rates to Airbnb’s in the surrounding area. I’m so glad I did. Not only was it more affordable, it gave me just enough distance from the crowd, while still being close and accessible to eateries, shops, streetcar transportation, available and free parking, local sites and freeways and highways. Directions for checking in and getting inside were simple. The place was so comfy and I felt at home. It made me love KC even more. The building was quiet and I felt safe as a solo traveler. When I didn’t feel like being out in the cold, having access to Netflix to binge shows on the couch was a welcomed treat. Just a couple blocks away were the best coffee shop, pizza and ice cream that I had in the city. And when I was done eating, I could jump onto the streetcar just meters away to head downtown. Lacie was very responsive, accommodating and offered recommendations. This made my experience FIVE STARS!

Valerie is a 5 star host! Her place was extremely clean and super comfortable. My family stayed and it was in a perfect location with plenty to do in Liberty. She communicated extremely well and checked to make sure our stay was perfect! Don’t hesitate to book with her!

It was a nice place to stay in I have nothing bad to say about the apartment. Love the building and what they offered for the residents. In the summer this place would be perfect

Dom was wonderful as a host during a difficult time in our lives. The blizzard caused some delays in getting to the apartment and with the loss of my Mom during our stay we had a local place to regroup before heading home. Thank you for the care you gave to us.

The Airbnb was clean and in a great location, the hosts were communicative and responsive, and check-in and out were easy. Definitely would stay here again in KC

We arrived at 2 am and had a little trouble getting into to building , but reading the instructions she sent was a big help. We are from a small town and the city was different. We loved the place and had a great time in KC

Great, convenient spot that was perfect for a short stay while I transitioned to a longer term place in Kansas City. Could easily have stayed longer though. Great living space and view over the Plaza. Adam is a great communicator and made things really easy.

Cozy and nice place made me feel like at home. Not to mention the location is unbeatable if you are here for Jack Stack BBQ or museum visits. Only 6 min walk from the condo door to the entrance of Nelson Atkins museum which facilitated my three consecutive days of visit. Sage is extremely welcoming and responsive. I appreciate the hospitality including the free drinking water and morning coffee. If I ever come back to KC I’ll definitely stay at her place again.

Thank you for such a perfect place to stay for our 1st ever Thanksgiving holiday couple only vacation in 35 years!! Perfect location just walking distance to the iconic KC Plaza and across the street from art museum and a beautiful walkable sculpture park! Spent Thanksgiving in the Plaza, wonderful dinner at Gram & Dun and then a one block walk to the annual Plaza holiday lighting ceremony! Absolutely magical! And a very quick drive to Arrowhead stadium for the Chiefs game! The Airbnb itself is so cozy and beautifully decorated with a secure lobby entrance and roof top deck overlooking Plaza which was absolutely magical when it snowed on our last day! Loved the coffee bar and supplies and little special touches Kristen left for us including a special souvenir Cozy in KC hanging ornament! Thank you!! Can’t wait to return!!

This place was the perfect location and was exactly as described by the host. The host was responsive and helpful and provided clear instructions on building entrance, check-in/check-out instructions, and a couple other things that were helpful to know. The location was in a perfect place - great proximity to the Plaza and the Nelson-Atkins Museum, while also being close enough to downtown without being in the thick of downtown. The space was beautifully done and had everything we could need.

Neda was a friendly and communicative host, helpful and responsive with everything. We loved the location, especially the parking space and the nearness to the Nelson. The well stocked kitchen utensils was a bonus for us as was the coffee and the jetted tub, which we really enjoyed. Highly recommend this beautiful space and this great host if you come to this beautiful city.

We were so excited to find a place to stay in this apartment building! It's beautiful decorated for the holidays. We enjoyed walking to Country Club Plaza. It's the perfect little apartment!!! We made our own breakfast in the kitchen, and later enjoyed restaurants and shops a walk away. The kitchen nook to sit in to have breakfast was lovely, looking down on the street and the park. The bed was comfortable. We really appreciated that the bathroom sink always drained when we used it, and so did the tub. The apartment has great windows to watch the sun rise over the park. Lovely little get-away!

Adam was a superb host - very easy to reach, prompt, and accommodating. The condo is comfortable and easily accessible. Our group of 5 was very happy with it.

Loved the location for Art Gallery and Plaza. The apartment was spacious and super clean. Loved the mid-century style. We will recommend it to our friends and family.

Clean! Even the bedsheets and quilts were crisp and so clean. Beds were super comfortable. Every amenity you needed was at your fingertips-outlets everywhere, switches labeled. Bathroom pristine, towels galore! Two separate sitting rooms allowed for great conversation and play areas-lots of open floor space for our two year old to play. I cannot begin to list how great this place is ! Like a minute from highway 70 so we were able to navigate all of KC with ease. Best stay ever!! Super cute inside-outside is deceiving. Book it, you won’t be sorry!!

It was one of my favorite places to stay, very modern and comfortable, they made sure it was a great experience and has every accommodation anyone would possibly want or need. I hope to stay there again

The Dojo might have been the most unique Air BnB we have ever stayed at! The Dojo was in the perfect location in KC - surrounded by great restaurants, bars, and so many things to do. Everything in the Dojo was organized and clearly labeled and there were so many thoughtful amenities, which included: a firepit on the deck, a weight room, a game room, candies and mints, coffee and creamer, toiletries, extra towels, and streaming services on the TV. Emily was courteous, prompt and polite with all of her communication too. Such a wonderful place!

Kim was a phenomenal host! Our weekend stay coincided with a huge winter storm. Greatly appreciated her willingness to be flexible with us if we needed to extend our stay. Super responsive and nice!

No complaints was everything the description advertised

Wonderful stay for a wedding party - large, lovely house with lots of space for entertaining, well-stocked kitchen with all the cooking essentials and a very responsive host. We had a clogged sink and Loretta came out herself to take a look at it, and we left a couple of stuffed animals and Loretta was able to coordinate with the cleaners to get them back in hand.

Overall great experience

Easy stay. Wasn’t aware the building was 2 different units; upstairs and down but wasn’t an issue for us. Place was clean and easy access to the plaza. Would stay again.
