Boutique hotel vacation rentals in Playa Zicatela

Staying at Quinta Lili was the perfect choice for our first ever trip to Puerto Escondido. Luis as a host was extremely helpful and responsive via Whats App, and Magda's daily changing breakfasts were some of the best food we had during our visit. The location couldn't be better - extremely walkable to get to the main town road and the multiple local beaches, yet safe to walk home to and quiet at night. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, and the Biercito was an a nice touch! We also appreciated the daily thorough room cleanings. We would strongly and wholeheartedly recommend Quinta Lili.

Helpful and kind family runs this hotel. Great breakfasts and can accommodate dietary preferences. The father offered to help me out when a surf instructor failed to appear the night before my departure to reclaim his board. The overhead bedroom fan works wonderfully in the warm temps and I didn't need to use the a/c. Fridge in the room, as well as in the kitchen where you can store your items. Safe that actually works. Excellent beer. 5 minute walk to beach and restaurants.

Words can’t describe how amazing our stay was especially due to the host going above and beyond to accommodate us. From the rooms and pool cleanliness to the private beach area with hammocks it was all 10/10. It’s a perfect location if you want a peaceful get away while still able to easy access anything you need. A big market is a short walk away as well as zicatela with lots of restaurant options and la Punta. It’s in the heart of what I think everything to enjoy your stay. If you want to go to the swimming beaches it’s a short cab ride away. Perfect Airbnb and Best Airbnb host we’ve ever experienced as well. We will be back to puerto and we will be staying at Casa Palma! Thank you Tina!!!

My two-night stay at Tina’s place in Puerto Escondido was exceptional! Located in the heart of Zicatela, it was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location couldn’t have been better; it’s very walkable, located right on the beach, and the convenience of other nearby beaches made exploring easy. The pool was a perfect addition, offering a refreshing spot to relax after a day in the sun. Tina was a fantastic host – responsive, welcoming, and accommodating. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-located stay in Puerto Escondido!

Excellent place to stay in Puerto Escondido; very close to everything: places to eat, the beach, you change your bedding daily, friendly and attentive to your stay. We highly recommend it.

Gael’s place was as described, very recommended. We drove to the closest beach. It was less than a ten minute drive. The balcony had a large walkable space, and a nice view to the ocean. The pool was welcoming and cozy. The whole building was energy friendly. Kudos to Gael!

We really enjoyed the physical place, the building, shared rooftop with jacuzzi, and the spacious apartment we rented. We liked how large the Master Suite was it felt very easy to spread out. The bathroom felt luxurious with large walk-in shower. And the balcony had a beautiful view and was large enough to hang out on. Rafael was a great host from start to finish. He helped with arrival suggestion and met us personally at the apartment when we arrived. This apartment is close to Playa Carrizalillo which is our favorite beach but it is a bit of a walk including quite a few stairs. The apartment was also close to a lot of great restaurants but we liked that it's still not as crazy as Zicatela area. We would definitely return if we come back to Puerto.

This Airbnb near Puerto Escondido was a great stay! It was very private and had a charming, cozy vibe. The space was super clean, with comfortable beds and a nice shower. The little pool was a great touch, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The location was excellent—everything was walkable, including great restaurants and the beach. The only downside was the noise from the upstairs area; the wooden floors creaked quite a bit, which could be disruptive for those staying downstairs. But overall, it was a lovely place, and I’d still recommend it for anyone looking for a cute, convenient stay in the area!

Excellent place to stay, a great location and a nice experience the arrival of the planes, at its entrance I scraped my car and there was only room temperature water. Your kitchen is very complete

I had a fantastic stay, also because of the people I was able to meet. Miguel is very nice, open and responds quickly on his cell phone. The house is beautiful, although sometimes a bit noisy because the airport is nearby. Otherwise the place is rather quiet in the city. As I said, I had a great experience!

Nice place with artistic touch. Spacious room, bed and bathroom. Clean. The host and his team are attentive and respond right away. Liked the garden and balcony. The common kitchen is clean and quite useful if you need to cook a meal for yourself. It has a spot to park a car. Would stay again.

Jill was waiting for our arrival, very close to the airport, very nice place, the pool with clean and warm water, our room was very comfortable (according to your needs) for us it was very good, the kitchen accessories were useful for us because we had to wash bottles and heat water for our baby, very comfortable... The places to eat are far away (walking), by taxi super fast Blue taxis are more expensive than green taxis We recommend it, we'll be back without a doubt If you don't speak English, it won't be as easy to have a genuine and relaxed conversation, but if that's not the case, it won't be a problem. Amazing price for a place that has everything you need. Comfortable bed, AC, dog friendly, pool, kitchen, etc. I always stay in brisas de zicatela and Mario's rentals will be my new go-to place to stay. He is also super sweet and flexible. 10/10 experience with someone who actually cares about their guests!
