Vacation rentals with beach access in Playa Maderas

You can’t get any closer to the waves of Playa Maderas! 100 meter walk (no hill) to the surf beach, and to 3 restaurants located there on the beach. We loved our stay here! Gaby is an outstanding host. The fans provided in the room are high quality and there are screens on the windows. We did not need AC here in December. Comfy bed, nice sheets and great rocking chairs! Purified water provided. Awesome place to stay for surfing and the patio feels private, surrounded by trees! Gaby & Manuel can connect you with surfboard rentals.

Tim's Todo Bien is a special place. It's got the good family vibe that makes you feel welcome and at home. We stayed in the apartment, and it was just as described. The pool is great, the sunset deck is amazing, and the dogs are super nice and fun. We stayed for 3 nights, and on Friday night Tim took us out for a wild pizza night down at the Machete Market. You do need a 4x4 to get to the place, or a bike or scooter. Would stay there any time again.

Perfect location. Responsive host. When I visit San Juan del Sur again I plan on staying here. The only negative is the WiFi. The place really needs a new router. If you have a laptop you can plug into the modem but the WiFi is problematic. Outside of that you cannot beat the views & beach access. The place is charming and worth every penny.

I loved my stay at this casita and instantly felt right at home. It is perfectly walkable to the beach club and surf out front. It is cute and private. The studio was equipped with everything I needed and was super clean. Miki is the best host and super helpful along the way! I would definitely stay again!

We loved our sweet cozy apartment. The location was great, quiet yet close enough to walk to restaurants and shopping. Kristen even had a little Christmas tree on the counter. So thoughtful. We will definitely stay here again.

Great spot, very cool

We spent 5 days in early November at Casa Dunia and enjoyed the time very much! The house is very clean, cozy and practically furnished. Especially the proximity to the beach (5min walk) made the place particularly attractive. Although Dunia was not there during our stay, communication went smoothly. If we needed anything, she organized it right away. Good to know is that you can take a shuttle to Airbnb (runs from san juan del sur) for $4 per person. Depending on the rain, not all taxis make it up to the house, as the road can be partly flooded or very steep. Tip: Walk along the beach at low tide (in the morning) and stop at Juanitas Kitchen. We had a great time and would come back!

We were rained out by tropical storm Sara and ended up having to head to Costa Rica early and Freek was great about it. This was totally due to weather and he was kind enough to help us out by giving us some cash back. Wilbert at the front desk helped arranged our rides and was a great person all around. The place is a perfect beach spot. Secluded and exactly what we wanted but tropical storm Sara decided to be a pain in the @$$. We definitely want to come back and try again next year!

Michelle’s place is absolutely beautiful and close to restaurants and supermarkets inside the community, the beach is also very close. It has its own pool and garden area and the house has everything you could possibly need including a bathroom in every room. Michelle was super responsive and friendly with all the questions and recommendations we had, she is an incredible host. We have found our favorite place and will for sure return when we come back to Nicaragua !

It’s a great location just out of town. easy to get a taxi, rent a car or motorcycle. Very responsive host. Ac in bedrooms and living room, which was nice and the pool was well taking care of and great to meet people and relax. A washer is available for a small fee which is a bonus. There is a pickleball court at the condos and there was construction going on but only until 5 pm. Neighbours were all friendly and a lot of long term stays. You do pay for washer use and electricity separately. I would stay again.

We had an amazing stay! The place was stunning, with breathtaking views and a fantastic pool. The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us organize everything we needed. The place was spotless and well-maintained. Highly recommend this place for a perfect getaway!

Uri was a huge help, great manager. Always got us what we needed then and there. Juan Pablo was great as well, always answered any questions immediately and made our stay super easy. Nice kitchen and everything you need for a long term stay. Walking distance to the beach, both grocery stores and Dog Town. Already planning our next trip back!
