Great house for a large group or family vacation

Pictures don’t quite do Villa Lou Lou justice, the sunsets will stop you in your tracks. We entered the villa felt the peacefulness, the landscape & design of the place is stunning & perfect for families. The location is amazing & playa grande beach was by far the best beach around. We were able to go for a morning walk to get a few groceries if needed or a quick drive to local groceries. Be sure to step out the back doors in the mornings to hear the howler monkeys. Claire was a very helpful host with recommendations for things to do around the area. We’ll be back forsure!

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature of Costa Rica

This property is in a great location. Safe neighborhood.The Greatful hotel across the street is very convenient, we got our boat taxi from there to go over to Tamarindo. We’ve discovered all the Resturant owners and workers in the area are all so helpful and the food is very good at all of them. The villa was spacious for the 9 of us and everyone had their own private bathroom. Air conditioning in the rooms was perfect! Kristi the manager was very responsive during our stay and hooked us up with whatever we needed! You must go to tamarindo and get an hour massage on the beach for $30! We did this multiple days and was so worth it!! We loved the iguanas and monkeys and all the interesting critters we encountered! Those giant grasshoppers are quite annoying if they land on you but we would laugh every time it happened. Don’t second guess this place, it’s amazing!!

Our stay at Antonio’s place was nothing short of amazing. Antonio was super helpful and responsive to all requests. He made our stay stress free as he provided awesome recommendations for a driver as well as a personal chef for my birthday. Cannot recommend this place enough! If you’re considering it for your stay in Costa Rica, do it. :)

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Maria's home. The pictures don't do it justice - the house is big, comfortable, and clean and the property is beautiful. Someone came over to clean the house everyday which made our stay even more relaxing. With the pool and the beach right there, you don't even need to leave the property to have a great vacation. Finally, we would be remise not to mention how special Jocelyn and her daughters made our trip. They came over twice to make us a dinner and it was easily the best meals we had during our stay. While you can walk to town, it's about 20-25 mins away so I would recommend renting a car or golf cart to get around.

Wow! What an incredible place. We loved it! Great value. The pool is fantastic. The architecture is amazing. Fabrice was a perfect host! I’d absolutely come back again!

So happy we stayed here! The cutest villa that’s even more breathtaking in person! Felt private and safe, we were all so comfortable with our stay. Andre was an excellent host, provided many recommendations for activities and places to eat. The Villa is in walkable distance to the beach, which is great because it gives you a chance to check out all the local shops and restaurants. Getting to the villa was easy, our host Andre was there to greet us in person and show us around. Overall a 10/10 experience!! A beautiful hidden gem. Hope to one day visit again, PURA VIDA!

If you're looking for a place to stay in Tamarindo, do yourself a favor and book this place! We booked this house for 8 people for a bachelorette party and it was beyond perfect. The host gave us a guide book with recommendations and helped us book transportation to/from the airport, a private chef for our first night (12/10!), a yoga class at the house one morning, and golf cart rentals (and there were even more options too like massages!). We booked a private catamaran sunset sail from their recommendation and got a discount because we were staying at Casa Duna! Our La Leona waterfall hike and dinner reservations in town were also recommendations from their guidebook. Each morning the lovely housekeeper came by to take out the trash, clean the rooms, and made us breakfast! It felt like we got all the amenities of a resort with the privacy of an Airbnb. The house is also in a gated community and felt extremely safe. SERIOUSLY BOOK THIS PLACE!!!

This place was incredible for our family! They had everything that would be needed for a short term stay. Hosts were very communicative. We had a small issue when had checked in, we brought it to their attention and they were quick to address it. Beach is walkable and plenty of food options near by. This place is about 30mins away from Tamarindo but there is a ferry you can take from a nearby hotel.

Breathtaking property and views. It’s about a ten minute ride from the street on a mostly unpaved uphill road and driving up, we weren’t sure what to expect. When we arrived with our five children, each of us was blown away. Over the course of the trip, a few appliances had issues. I’m not sure exactly how, but the management team for the property was on site in minutes with a fix, no matter the issue. This is why I gave five stars. The property is probably 4 or 4.5 stars but the team involved easily pushes this to a 5. Thanks for a great stay. We would definitely visit again.

We loved our stay at this beautiful unit! The decor was beautifully decorated and we enjoyed a morning sauna and cold plunge. Beds were on the firmer side and didn’t love the pillows but that wouldn’t keep me from staying here again and recommending to others. While the area was walkable, it’s still a few blocks uphill to get home so we rented a golf cart for easier access. Lagosta Beach club is a great addition to the experience😎

We had a wonderful stay with 8 guests. The house is exactly as it appears in the photos, organized with 3 primary bedrooms around the central pool area. There is a fourth bedroom with 4 bunk beds. All of the bedrooms have their own bath/shower areas. The large living area has a big glass door that slides open to create an indoor/outdoor experience. We loved having breakfast prepared each day. We thought it might not be needed every day. However, after the first day, we decided it was too good to pass up, allowing us to relax every morning around the pool, drinking delicious coffee until the food was prepared. We would also highly recommend having a golf cart. It was delivered prior to our arrival and made trips in and out of town super easy. The location of the house is great. You can access either Playa Longosta or Playa Tamarindo through gates that are short walk from the house. The folks at the front gate to the neighborhood can give you the code. Overall, this is a great house!

A truly perfect spot for our multi generational family vacation! To my mind there is only one negative influence at this property. It is not something the hosts can control, and I’ll get it out of the way first here: The road/street is under construction/development, and there are crews working from 7am to 6pm everyday. If you’re out and about during the day (like us), it won’t make a significant impact. With that out of the way, all other influences were perfect! The property is superbly designed and laid out. Very private, with monkeys literally swinging through the trees behind the bedroom pods. The main house provides a stylish and comfortable place for the crew to gather, plan, play games and cook. Stocked with everything you need, and spotless. The pods provide a quiet, private and secure space to retreat to for reflection and sleep. Pool is perfect to cool off. Property is easy walk to every activity for young and old, no hills! Overall, best imaginable spot for us! Big thanks!

Nathalie and Nico were fantastic hosts. The home genuinely looks exactly like the pictures. We were met at check in and walked through the house, it was very clean and well stocked, and the location was an average of 5 minutes (by Uber) from many, many restaurants and outings. It fit 6 adult women comfortably and we all felt safe. Nathalie even stopped by on my actual birthday with a card, candle, and small pastry which was incredibly thoughtful. The only real downsides were the power and water outages. There were 2 of each in the week we were there. All of these events were resolved within about an hour or less, with the longest issue being the water stopping for about 3 hours the morning we were leaving. These issues were out of their control, but just something to keep in mind. There were also a lot of tiny crabs?? Very non-threatening (coming from someone who does NOT do bugs) but again, just something to note. Overall I would recommend this home to anyone visiting Tamarindo.

Stay here!!! This place was absolutely stunning! It was better than the pictures showed. The pool and garden were pristine and created the most beautiful setting for us. We spent so much time n the backyard enjoying the nature and cool pool dips. The house was modern and clean and provided a lot of space. Stephanie was a great host… she left us wonderful welcome fruits and drinks. The list of local beaches and favourite restaurants was also extremely handy. Thanks again to Stephanie, we loved our stay.

What more than wow to say! The house was in excellent condition. She even took the time to leave the air conditioning on for our arrival in 1 of the bedrooms ( it was very hot that day). The pool, the rooms, the showers everything was clean and Helena was very responsive to all our requests. Very good communication from him and really done everything to take the pleasant stay. Highly recommend The villa is close to town and the road was very well done by small car. a must

We enjoyed our time at Casa Buenas Vibras! The location was ideal for all of the activities we planned for our time in Guanacaste, though the road through Santa Rosa could be rough to navigate - especially at night! We’d recommend having your data and gps turned on for a safe and easy arrival - the local roads aren’t always clearly marked. The home was spacious, clean and private. Our kids made excellent use of the pool. We felt very comfortable in the gated community. Ian was incredibly responsive, having supplies dropped off to us almost immediately after we observed that a few essentials might be missing from the kitchen. He was absolutely excellent to communicate with. It was his interest in making our stay positive that made this experience 5 stars. We also recommend the nearby Apami Wildlife Rescue Centre, Reina’s Chocolate, Tamarindo market and Monkey Jungle zip line. !

The view was everything! We loved watching the sunset every night and just hanging out in the backyard spotting monkeys in the trees. You definitely need a four-wheel drive to get to the house. But you get used to it. Host was extremely friendly and responsive. There was an adorable outdoor cat who liked to have company. Seriously the views are spectacular and you don’t want to miss out. So peaceful and away from everything.

I just loved the place and the condominium where it is located! The house is perfect for two couples or two couples with two kids (since one of the bedrooms has two couple bars). It is spacious with a nice American style kitchen, two full bathrooms, a marvelous terrace and the most gorgeous sunset view ever: you may watch the sunset Literally from the sofa of your terrace! About location: the best ever! You are just a few steps from what I consider one of the best and most beautiful beaches of Guanacaste! And you are also close to several nice restaurants of the region. I would (and will) stay here another thousand times!

The place was exactly as described—clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and shops, yet still quiet and relaxing. The host was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and provided great local recommendations. The WiFi was strong, the A/C worked great, and the outdoor space was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Tamarindo! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent lodging, Doris and her family are very friendly people and were always willing to help us. They gave us local recommendations and helped us with what we requested. Private place very close to the beach, 100% recommended!
