Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Playa Chiquita

The air bnb was exactly as described, 2 bedrooms beautiful pool and air conditiong! it is a little walk away from the town center of Puerto viejo, and you may want rent a bike or car while staying. The house was exactly as described and Enrica was an amazing host and very responsive to anything I needed! Definitely recommended if you want a nice peaceful place to relax

I recommend this place. It is clean, spacious and with everything you need. In addition, the location is excellent, close to Playa Negra and Parque de Cahuita. It is private and surrounded by nature. We saw many birds on the property. The pool is clean and nice. We appreciate your excellent service.

Natacha and Martin are wonderful hosts and made sure our entire stay went smoothly, even stocking the kitchen with some much appreciated food upon our arrival. Their home is beautiful, spacious, and one-of-a kind. Our favorite part was being able to view iguanas, monkeys, sloths and various birds from the top deck. The house is in a private setting with the town center close enough to walk (10 minutes) and entrance to Cahuita NP 15 minutes. Natacha made our stay easy with her top notch communication by booking us various activities and even helping with laundry. Gracias Natacha and Martin! Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying here and we would highly recommend it! Pura vida!

Excellent place, close to everything but at the same time there is a lot of privacy

I was this weekend with my family at tulipan house and it was incredible🥰 we came to love the tranquility, the privacy everything was great the stay👌🏼Hagit super attentive and helped me a lot with check-in, we will be back soon!!! 🙌🏼

We loved our stay at Jayr's place, it was exactly what we were looking for during our weekend getaway! I appreciated the clear instructions and the private pool... the privacy and lots of trees and bushes made it even more private and comfortable. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Puerto Viejo!

We had an exceptional stay at Meg’s private cabin! The open design and lush greenery created a wonderfully freeing and serene atmosphere, while the high-end amenities made our stay incredibly comfortable. The garden was alive with wildlife-an absolute treat! We were lucky enough to spot howler monkeys, capuchins, toucans, and even a sloth right in the yard. Meg and Phil were outstanding hosts, always there for us and ready to help throughout our entire journey. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience even better. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay surrounded by nature!

A great place for vacation

Excellent place, very comfortable. The location is beautiful as you have tree view where you can hear beautiful sounds of nature. The lodging 10/10 very comfortable beds.

This was a nice and private place to stay, just off the main thruway to town - when we had the place to ourselves, it was really quiet and nice to have the pool right beside our unit (the people that came in after our 2nd day were rather noisy). Other than a minor issue with the bathroom, everything in the unit was just what we needed. Location was good, a little out of the way but five minutes into town and a five minute walk to some good food at the Banana Azul hotel. Loida is a great host, 10/10. Always available, quick to reply, friendly, and reacted quickly when an issue came up with the bathroom. thanks for having us, Loida!

Amazing stay in a stunning location! 🌴✨ This place is in a perfect spot right by a beautiful black sand beach 🖤⛱️. Just a few minutes away from everything you need—restaurants, laundry, supermarkets, and of course, the ocean with surfboard rentals 🌊🏄. The accommodation itself is small and simply furnished, but has everything you could ask for. The little stove outside the door is super practical. The bedroom is tiny, just big enough for a bed, but the bed is very comfortable bed 🛏️. With two windows, it’s well-ventilated, and the mosquito nets throughout the house are amazing—not a single mosquito the entire stay! 🦟🙌 We loved the hammock outside and the large covered area in front of the house. It’s a bit dark since you can’t see the sky and the green privacy nets limit the view, but they also give good privacy from neighbors. We had discovered Jessy's place through Google on the internet. I actually prefer to book directly with the host. Airbnb gets a share of about 20% for each reservation. We stayed at Jessy's place for a week. It's a beautiful place with a very well-maintained outdoor area. For longer stays, the apartment is a little cramped. I would recommend other guests to book Jessy's larger apartment in this case, because that has a large dining table. A very big advantage was that we could use the shared terrace with dining table. It is located right next to the room. Jessy provides her guests with games, a TV and Alexa. You can also use a large grill on the terrace. The internet is sometimes disturbed and a bit slow to the region, but Jessy will soon get a fast fiber connection. Finally, I can tell you that Jessy is a very thoughtful and friendly host!

This place is what I want when I think of off the grid vacation. It is an absolute Mecca for those who need to stare at the ocean and listen to the surf. We totally loved it. The hosts were a whole another level —unless we needed to ask for something they were invisible, but as soon as any small question needed answering Jamie would immediately provide most detailed info about anything at all, be it the sites, the weather, the activities. Having a knowledgeable local who happens to be a Texan made all the difference for Thea tourists. As someone with lots of travel experience in far away, off the grid places, I loved the style we were subjected to. The owners clearly done their homework before deciding to provide comfort and shelter for others. Experience is the best teacher and our hosts are hands down real pros. Thank you all! Anna, Maxim.

The property is very well located and easily accessible, there is a small supermarket close by or by bike. The house is very well equipped for cooking right there and overall quite comfortable. Property is gated and feels quite privacy

Great place and excellent host

Lovely place. The landscaping is extraordinary and it was so beautiful we spent several days just staying at the house. The hotel next-door was a bonus as it had a bar restaurant where we could order drinks and food and have them delivered to the beach. the beach was empty, but you could walk a mile and either direction to go to a busier beach with beach bars and restaurants. Had a bit of an issue with the pool at one point, but Utopía Caribe, the property manager, was very attentive and remedied the problem to our satisfaction. If you're going to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, rent this house.

Hosts are great, Cinzia and Adriana were absolutely wonderful. Location is great, close to a supermarket and 5 min from Playa Chiquita which is so pretty. We had a perfect stay, host even allowed us a slightly late check-out. Kitchen has everything you need to cook.Totally recommend. Double bed on the smaller side (which is the only thing we could fault) for a couple but the room has a smaller single bed too which I jumped into and left the double bed for my wife. 9.5/10

I had a perfect stay in Puerto Viejo and in Ernyk his airbnb. He helped me with extra requests which was very nice. The house is very new and beautiful, a lot of green and animals around + only 5 min bikeride to shops and restaurants. Another plus is the eco friendly elements in the house. I would recommend this place 1000% and hope to return someday.

We stayed on site for 6 nights and were very satisfied . Great, cozy place right across the street from the beach perfect. Super host provided us with many good tips ( beaches, restaurants, national parks, etc.). happy to come back!
