My family, from my children to my grandchildren enjoyed the property’s comfort and amenities.

Although we only spent one night in this rental because we went to a show in Sacramento, it was very comfortable and welcoming. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked. Neighborhood was nice to walk around in. I would definitely come again.

This was an incredible space for hosting my big family! Easy to find, private, spacious with everything you could think of needing and wanting. We felt right at home and able to kick back and relax because the space was just so inviting. It was close by many places like Lakes, Sky Park, and Apple Hill as well as a Safeway that we could walk to if we forgot key ingredients for our cooking. I’d definitely stay again if hosting a large group.

We were grateful to find this little gem on our visit to Pine Grove to reunite with family. Everything as described, loved the deck where we enjoyed our morning coffee, then the hot tub in the evening. Comfortable beds, a very complete kitchen, plenty of dvds to choose from. A lovely bottle of wine waiting for us after a long day of travel as well as a sampling of delicious ice cream to get us next door to try out the rest of our favorite flavors. Walking distance to Graze which turned into our favorite breakfast place. Roadhouse coffee another nice place. Local grocery had great variety if you didn’t want to make a trip to Jackson. We fell in love with Pine Grove and its surrounding area. Plenty of trails to hike, close to wineries, we even took a day trip to Calaveras to see the giant sequoias. Our family reunion turned into a memorable vacation. Thanks Stew for sharing your cozy chalet!

The location was great-close to the Kings arena, State Capitol, Old Sacramento, and other downtown attractions. We had a minor issue about parking our vehicle but Robyn responded quickly and helped us resolve the issue. The place was just like the pictures and we had everything that we needed. There is some street noise but it is a downtown area so it is to be expected; it did not interupt our sleep at all.

Close to stores, restaurants and local businesses. The area is quiet and calm. Took family and friends to a festival and this home was beautiful and spaces enough for everyone. Gary is very good with responding to messages when he is needed. I would def book again if given the chance.

We had a great stay and Toby the dog is a great host to back up Cynthia! Great place for anyone with a dog or that likes dogs!

This place is a hidden gem. Although it was chilly outside the pool area was still very nice to sit and enjoy some quiet conversations. The three dogs are super friendly. The guest house was very clean and had everything you could ask for. Thanks for a great place to spend the night.

We've stayed at the Inkling before, and loved coming back. It's an easy walk to various shops, restaurants, etc. but in a peaceful spot (and part of a beautiful house & garden). It's cozy but not cramped, has a useful layout, lovely decor, and is charming and comfy. Carol's such an excellent host: Experienced, thoughtful, and friendly. We were glad we checked early because this place is always booked!

This was not our first stay at the Story Homestead and won’t be our last. The house is perfect for our needs, mini french bulldog, and making meals. It is always exceptionally clean; guest instructions are clear. The surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful with lots of delightful bird watching and walks. The fireplace insert is very warming with plenty of wood provided. We are looking forward to staying again in the spring.

We love Paula’s place so much! We are a small group of families that enjoy traveling to the area each fall. We keep returning to this house because of its beautiful location and excellent host! Coming back this time felt like home, as a bottle of wine and some local baked goods were waiting for us. The rooms are comfortable and we love the cozy decor. Highly recommended for anyone staying in the area!

We really enjoyed this place! The house had a very woody feel, and having a forest-like backyard was a great benefit for our family with small kids. The kitchen was well stocked and even had some nice frying pans which is a rarity for an Airbnb.

This place is absolutely stunning. We came to town for a family reunion and after the reunion we couldn’t wait to go back here to relax and decompress for the night. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty room for us to stay. Everything you might need this house had!

Tom was the most gracious host one could ask for. From booking to checkout, Tom made himself available for any and all questions. He provided some insights about finding the house and tips on maneuvering onto the property. He personally met me and my family at check-in, provided us some insights on the property and the area, and helped with access to the lake. The house and grounds are immaculate. Clean, well stocked kitchen, and fresh linens. The property has everything you could ask for with lake, pool and hot tub access. . The private setting is the ultimate topping on the cake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to connecting with Tom for future trips!

We were visiting my brother for the Thanksgiving week so we did not spend much time at Fawzia's casita. The time we spent was very enjoyable. I enjoyed sitting outside having my coffee in the morning and walking around their beautiful grounds. They have an adorable dog, Max; who would come by sometimes to say hello and Fawzia's husband, Ash was friendly and made us feel welcomed and at home.

We had an amazing experience at the cabin. The views were breath taking and it truly made for a relaxing weekend. It was very kid friendly and there was so much to do related to being outdoors. The hosts were very accommodating. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Prior to check in all the way through check out, Christian was an extremely communicative host. I really appreciate that there were very clear instructions for everything. Some of us were flying in from out of state and Christian was very accommodating with an early check in. This place is huge and spaciously laid out. We hosted dinner for 12 people multiple nights and with so much space, we never felt like we were on top of each other. Our group spent a ton of time outside-enjoying the relaxing pool and lounging area. The property is maintained and beautiful. We had 3 kids with us who were obsessed with this house! Christian has so much for the kids to do that they never got bored. Seriously - between the cinema room upstairs, pool, water slide, sports outside, foosball, there was never a dull moment which is really saying something for kids! I’d stay here again when I’m in town in a heartbeat. Thank you Christian and your family for the wonderful stay, we sincerely appreciate it

I rented Don and Kathy’s home to throw a baby shower. Keep in mind there is an event fee if you’ll have guests joining for the day, but it was very reasonable, especially for everything this house and our hosts gave us in return. There was so much open green space, greenhouse was more spacious and beautiful than what it looked like in the photos, and you can tell they put a lot of love and care into this family home. It was very clean and guest ready, but you can tell people actually live here and IMO it felt made it feel warmer compared to company owned Airbnbs that feel sterile. When they say their kitchen is fully stocked, they mean FULLY stocked. Don and Kathy are excellent hosts as well - they were so responsive and responded personally to all our messages and very quickly. When you get close the roads are not lit, so for some it might be a little scary to navigate in the dark. Just drive slow and once you get to where GPS drops you off it’s easy to see the house from the road!

The place was spacious, clean, and so comfortable. Best of all, it was at the perfect distance for cycling to Sac State. We were able to enjoy cooking in the exceptionally well-equipped kitchen and even took advantage of the garden and splash pool. Also, I was grateful to have a desk to work at. Honestly, there were so many wonderful aspects of our stay that I could go on and on. Needless to say, we loved every minute of it. Thank you to our host, Marwa, for providing such with a fantastic experience!

We had a great stay at Helen’s. The view was lovely, the house was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We stayed for 6 nights, while we visited family in the area, and it was the perfect home base. We hope to stay again!

We had a fantastic stay! The hosts were very welcoming (we loved the fresh eggs!) and we enjoyed the pool and outdoor cooking. Stargazing was incredible as well. Highly recommend
