This place was fantastic

The Lazy Bones Lodge was everything and more. You are welcomed into the home with snacks, and a bottle of cider. Forgot toiletries? No problem , our hosts have a basket full of toothbrushes, combs, razors, feminine hygiene products. Our hosts communicated and answered any questions we had prior to our arrival… even down to the available roasting pans. We loved being able to gather indoors and out as a family. There were plenty of available games for us to enjoy. We even did a family polar plunge. Thank you for opening your home. We loved it.

This home was absolutely gorgeous and looked exactly like all the photos. It was very clean and had a spacious kitchen with every utensil necessary. The view was stunning and it was very neat that there was both a central heater and AC. Very pet friendly and I would highly recommend to stay here. The host was especially accommodating and extremely friendly. I would definitely come back.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Joyce’s cottage. From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt cozy, warm, and welcome. We were greeted with home-made cookies, local grapefruits, and a note we will keep to remember our trip. This is the cleanest property I have ever stayed in and the views were stunning. The location is ideal-close enough to the park, yet still peaceful and private. I highly recommend Joyce’s cottage and will definitely be returning.

A stunning view to wake up to each morning and friendly management staff who were both helpful and insightful. The place is a little rustic, some of the dusty ornaments could be cleared out and a little DIY is needed especially in the kitchen (most of the cupboards are hanging on for dear life). The bed wasn’t super comfortable. But the location is peaceful and the views beautiful. And frankly, I’d like us you’re going out hiking most of the day and enjoying a bit of outdoor living, you expect a level of rustic charm when Airbnb’ing a place. The space WAS clean though and I love supporting a friendly and responsive host.

Very much enjoyed our stay at your Wofford Heights home! The house was clean and comfortable, spacious, and well stocked for our group of eight to make home-cooked meals. The main living area has a great open layout, perfect for family time, the kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed having meals outside on the deck with the great views of lake Isabella. The beds were comfy and bathrooms were very clean. HVAC system worked great at heating up the home during the chilly nights. Surrounding neighborhood was quiet and we were able to walk our dogs around easily. The location and its proximity to the Kern River, Sequioa Nat’l Forest, and many surrounding hikes and trails was ideal. Will definitely consider it when visiting the area again!

Having a creek out back was our favorite part. We cold plunged a few times then headed up to enjoy the hot tub after. The hot tub has a great view. It’s a beautiful location, just secluded enough while still being minutes away from a Vons and some restaurants to get snacks or meals. We felt very safe, only scared of running into the local bear, lol. Other than that, the locals were all very nice to us. I really appreciated the host’s recommendations, as well. We used them to help us plan out our day. Beyond the recommendations, Sharon was very considerate and communicative. There’s a lot of good things to say about this place! I would just mention that it’s a little cold in the bedrooms at night, but the living room was very warm with the AC unit. But then again, I run a little cold. I’ll definitely be back in the summertime!
