Very peaceful and cozy place, both the cabin itself and the surroundings. The view is breathtaking and we were lucky enough to get some snowfall, turning the area into a winter wonderland. We also had a rare chance to fall asleep with a relaxing sound of sea waves and watch some swans and reindeers. The kitchen in the cabin is packed with all sorts of devices, from dishwasher to aero grill. Sauna experience was also really nice and relaxing. Already looking forward to the opportunity to visit again. ☺️

A great location! A great value for the stay and Paul was very helpful in coordinating my arrival time and was very responsive in all messaging. Would recommend! The sauna was as lovely as the pictures make it look!

The location of the house is great. at the bottom of the train. Located in a great location for those traveling to the airport and Helsinki. The host made it easy for us and provided very detailed instructions. Getting home was very easy. There is a 24 hour market under the apartment building. 10/10. We felt at home and in the comfort of a hotel.😊👌

We are very happy to stay in this house so clean ( in every aspect), quiet and cozy. 10' walk to train station, others 10' with train and you are in the city center. If you come with a car,there is place near the house to park. We stayed here when the temperature on the street was close to 0 degrees, but inside the house you could be with short sleeves. Inside the house there is everything you need for cooking, comfortable sleeping and t.s. In short: very good impressions of this place. We already know where to stay if we have to go again through Helsinki.

Elie's apartment was very fulfilling with expectations. When we were checking in, we struggled a bit to get in because the combination on the lock had been changed, but the host was quick to respond and helpful. The apartment itself was clean, neat and had great amenities, like a smart TV and fully equipped kitchen. We liked the sleeping alcove very much, although the mattress is of the type has to get used to. The location was also fantastic, as the neighborhood was great, with lots of bars and a local sauna nearby (Kotiharjun Sauna) which was only a short walk away. Highly recommend. The apartment allowed us to enjoy Helsinki and much of what the city had to offer.

Mr Virgil is a gem of a person. First of all the place is very well maintained, cleaned and very well organised. You will find everything you need. All utensils in kitchen, all necessary items (tooth paste, shaving kit, cream etc) in the bathroom. For example - bathing liquid and shampoo were of very high. quantity. My flight arrived late and he waited for me (till midnight) to ensure my smooth Checkin. And one day Mr Virgil invited me for tea and social / cultural talk and had wonderful exchange of thoughts. I thoroughly enjoyed and would love to stay when I visit Helsinki. Unfortunate my his place is in very high demand and I am not able to find availability next month I am planning to visit.

Super easy check in. Listing was accurate. Unit was clean. Netflix, laundry down the hall and all the amenities were a huge plus. I would say the best part about this place though is the location being so central and walkable. As others have mentioned about the bed being so close to the ceiling.. the only reason that bothered me is because the person who lives above this unit was extremely loud on the floor through the night, every night. I was typically kept awake or woken up between 1-5 AM every night that i stayed there. The toilet is also directly above the bed, so you will inevitably hear said person urinating just above your head in the middle of the night.
