Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Pioneer Valley

Jim and Michelle were such welcoming and accommodating hosts. Their home is the perfect location tucked away in the countryside. Enjoying coffee and breakfast with Michelle on Sunday and their super friendly dog, Darby, was such a pleasant treat. Would love to come back more and explore the area. One thing to note, if you have Verizon you'll be off the grid here because cell service is sparse - but that's probably the best way to fully immerse yourself in the property and truly enjoy it!

We enjoyed our stay at the Inn. We stayed in the Heritage Room which was on the top floor. The bathroom was beautiful, the room was very clean. We loved all the personal touches around the room. Chris was very hospitable and we enjoyed chatting with him and the other guests the next morning at the breakfast table-which Chris cooked and it was excellent. Unfortunately Danele was away for the weekend and we did not get to meet her. but there’s always a next time.

This is the second time I've stayed here in a couple weeks, on visits for short work trips to UMass. The house is very clean and peaceful and the hosts are friendly and nice and take a lot of care to make guests feel welcome. I found the location very convenient to walk to campus, though there is a short stretch with no sidewalk, but it was easy to walk alongside the road without being too close to cars.

Super charming home and guest space upstairs. We were looking for a comfy place to spend a few winter days with our Williams student and this fit the bill perfectly. Super close to campus, but the view out of the northwest window made it feel like we were in a wood cabin in the middle of the woods somewhere. Great communication with owner.

The Shearer Hill Farm is not only a cozy and beautiful place to stay at, it also has the best hosts, Patricia and Bill. Their attention to detail, kindness and hospitality made this a fantastic experience. Breakfast here was worthy of a 5 star restaurant, their coffee and jams were sooo good too. Our rooms was beautifully decorated, also super comfy and clean. Thanks for having us so last minute! Hope to be back soon. :)

Our plane was delayed several times and our arrival time of 5pm was pushed back to midnight. There was no lockbox so Olena wanted a face-to-face check-in and waited up till that ungodly hour. Her lovely, well-appointed house is right next to a dense woods and no other houses are visible from Olena's. As a result we experienced complete, total silence during the sleeping hours. Although others lived in the house on the floors above ours (basement), we rarely heard or saw them and felt we had an apartment all to ourselves even though we entered through the main door. Our bedroom was the largest I've had in an AirBnB and had copious storage and furniture: closet, drawers, two chairs, desk, etc. The bed size is double (not Queen) and is actually a futon but, nonetheless, was quite comfortable. We were often greeted upon entering by Olena's large and friendly dog. We hope that her place is free during our next Northampton visit.

George and Annalee are wonderful hosts. From their insight of local recommendations to the thoughtful ways they make sure you feel right at home, they really exemplify what Airbnb was created to be. Ordinary civilians like you and me who love meeting people from all over the world. They are there to great you upon arrival and to make sure you know your way around the house. I would recommend commuting in/out with a car, because the location is quite remote and not walkable especially with luggage. It’s the perfect place to retreat and disconnect.

Thia was my 3rd visit to Helen's. I keep returning there - it's so beautiful and welcoming. I feel at home there. My friend, who was there for the first time, loved it too! Oh, and Helen's cooking is amazing! Will come back again. Thank you for your hospitality, Helen!

Our favorite place to stay in CT! My husband I love that the hosts are very welcoming, they make you feel right at home, and their homemade breakfast with local ingredients is SO delicious. I'm not a huge coffee drinker but I will always have a cup of coffee Jasmine makes for us. We stayed in the same room a few years ago, and made sure to stay in the same house/room this time around again. It's so peaceful, scenic, and good vibes all around. Can't wait to visit again, and hopefully next time it'll be for a longer stay!

Bill and Pamela are wonderful hosts. They are flexible and accommodating. Pamela's beautiful watercolors fill the house. The shady porch overlooking the garden is perfect for reading and chatting. Norfolk is a favorite summer destination and this is the fourth time we have stayed at Maple House. It would be five, but one time they were already booked. We highly recommend.

I can’t say enough about the beauty and isolation of this spot. Within a 10 minute drive there are a variety of good restaurants and shops, and Northampton isn’t far. But for walks in the woods, biking or looking at the mountains through the 270 degree window panorama, this spot is extraordinarily spacious and cozy. There are a number of famous rock climbing sites nearby. The bathtub is the largest I’ve used, not a jacuzzi, but bigger than most hotel jacuzzis. Plenty of hot water.

No wonder Nancy is a super host. She has combined all those roles into one, a sister, a mother, even a nana. Sitting on the deck, enjoying breezes from the early fall; the waves from Connecticut river and the splashing sounds sooth and rock you like a baby in a mother’s arms. If you seek a home away from your home; if you love nature, then, Riverbank is for you!! Nancy, I wish I could thank you more!

Definitely a great spot if you ever need to stay the night in Suffield, CT! We enjoyed the homey feeling and spacious sized rooms. We stayed in the Stargazer Master Suite which was perfect for 2 adults and a child. It was near the common area that had plenty of coffee options, snacks, a microwave and refrigerator. It was exactly what we were looking for!

We had such a lovely time at Dee’s place! She was a wonderful host - she gave us clear check-in instructions as well as recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, and made delicious and abundant breakfast for us each morning. The house itself was very peaceful and we are really grateful to Dee for sharing her lovely home with us. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at The Lacey Rose. The house itself is very impressive and beautiful inside. The beds were very comfy and breakfast was terrific. Denise was great and stayed up to welcome us on a bit of a late arrival. Will have no hesitation in staying there again.

If you want peace and quiet then this was the place. Lee and Bob were wonderful just and breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed a morning walk and getting to know our wonderful host.

Josie and Scott are the best. They made me feel very welcomed. Coffee and banana bread plus other goodies were waiting for me in the morning. I will definitely stay there again; I am booked to stay there at the end of May

Great hidden gem It is a beautiful location, next to the river, peaceful with a waterfall, covered bridge, and great food. Assume surprised

Can we give more than 5 stars? Lee and Bob were wonderful hosts and we truly enjoyed their company. Their place was so beautiful and peaceful and the amazing breakfast was just the icing on the cake! Already looking forward to our next visit!
