Trastevere is one of the most picturesque areas in the city. The district has an authentic feel and the independent shops and cafes are frequented by locals. Tram and bus stops are located on Viale di Trastevere 5 minutes' walk from the apartment. Parking: parking on the road is possible. Very difficult to find free spots but possible, otherwise the parking fee is approx. 8 euro per day on the road or €20/25 in a private garage.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment located right in the heart of Rome, on the charming Via dei Coronari. The location couldn’t be better—it’s within walking distance to nearly all the major attractions including the Vatican City, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and even the Colosseum. The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, helping to arrange airport pick-up and drop-off, which made everything so smooth and stress-free. Just a heads-up for future guests: the apartment is on the fourth floor with no elevator, so be prepared for a bit of a climb. Also, since it’s on a lively street with a few bars and restaurants nearby, it can get noisy on weekend nights. If you were looking for a place to stay in, Rome, look no further. This is absolutely the best location you can find. We were in walking distance of everywhere we wanted to visit. The neighborhood is amazing with Campo di Fiori in the backyard. You truly feel like you are in a Roman getaway. The host could not be nicer and more helpful. The home is beautiful with gorgeous views. We will tell all of our friends to stay here when they visit Rome and crossing our fingers, we can come back someday.

We had a wonderful 4night stay with our 2 children and their grandparents. Less than 10minutes walk to the Vatican. Lots of small coffee shops for breakfast and authentic restaurants for dinner in nearby street. Apartment was just as described and hosts were super supportive for check-in outside of hours. Airport taxis was easier for our family mix and took about 35minutes. No 63/64 bus stop around the corner was easy transport to main sights if not up to longer walking. Highly recommend this stay.

Great apartment! Very convenient location - very close to the metro station, tram station and bus stops. The apartment is neat and very cozy. A big plus is the summer terrace and even your own lemon tree. Well equipped kitchen (microwave, electric kettle, dishwasher, fridge and full set of kitchen appliances). Stable internet, comfortable bed. The hosts take care of their guests, always available.

Maria Chiaras apartment is a wonderful place to feel hime aeay from home. So beatifully and at the same time thoughtful/practical furnished and designed. And the terrace!!! Mamma Mia. We've been there in November and were so lucky with the weather, we spent every morning and evening outside. Great shower. Everything in the kitchen you need. I Was just a little disappointed about just two coffee capsules- because there are so many in the airbnb-promopics of the apt (also the beautiful painting from the pictures is gone) and I am an coffee addict. But there is a 24/h supermarket around the corner- so it's no problem to get those capsules and to enjoy the nice espresso machine. The whole area is great-bookshops, a cinema, Bars, Cafés, Restaurants- and not so many tourists. And Maria was so nice and flexible, we could leave our luggage in the apt until 2 hours after check out, which really helped us out. Like the elevator did. And the tram around the corner. I will definately come back!
