Vacation rentals with lake access in Pickens County

Great accommodations for a large group, with kids. The area was beautiful. We didn't do much in Big Canoe because we were out visiting pumpkin patches and apple orchards all day, but enjoyed coming back and relaxing. Everyone wants to come back for a longer stay next year!

Stayed here for the Christmas holiday and it was fantastic. Never been before but we will be back! As a fellow AirBnB host, I can tell you that Kat knows what she's doing. Everything was well thought out, easy to use, in good operational order and very clean, all 100%. The location and venue is beautiful. Kat was very reponsive. Alway available for any question we had. It was even decorated for us including a tree and other holiday themed decor. We 100% recommend this stay.

We were there to attend a wedding at The Rivere. The property was spacious and well kept overlooking Disharoom lake. Please make sure you drive in 4x4 to get there through the woods and windy roads.

This was the first experience for me and my family to be in the mountains for a vacation. Morgan was the perfect host with updates timelines and help with any concerns or questions. The home was amazing, the grands had a wonderful time even though the weather conditions kept us inside, there was so much that we could do inside. My daughter is already making plans for the next visit. Thanks to Morgan for being a super host and allowing me and my family to enjoy this experience in such a beautiful home.

Jeff’s place was exactly as described and matched the pictures. We had more than enough space for our family of 8. We really enjoyed celebrating our 2 y/o bday here. So much so we all agreed we’d come back to celebrate other times together here! Thank you again

We had the best stay. Jo Anna was the best host, so accommodating. The home was so cozy, and peaceful. Everything we needed was there at our fingertips. Will definitely stay here next time we are in the area. My bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get out of it and the view from my room was so pretty. Truly exceptional stay!

Beautiful home and location! Right on the water- super easy to bring the kayaks out. Chris was very responsive- although we had no issues. She checked to make sure we got in ok and then sent instructions/suggestions for the area. This was by far the best home we have stayed in Big Canoe. It was also the cleanest and most stocked rental we have experienced. We will be back!

What a wonderful cabin! This cabin is huge and has plenty of rooms and beds! I was shocked there was an entire bottom section. The kitchen was wonderful, and we enjoyed cooking the meals at the cabin. Waking up to the beautiful views every morning was perfect! Lindsay even put up a tree for us! What a wonderful host!

Constance was extremely friendly greeting us. The grounds are beautiful and extremely quiet. The room was cozy and we felt right at home.

Terri was a wonderful host. She gave us hiking and restaurant ideas and was accommodating to our 1 year old who can be a handful. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Big Canoe.

We had a fantastic stay at Gary and Sherry's home and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly and active getaway. The location is perfect, situated just a short walk from Playfield Park. The park features a wonderful playground for kids, making it an ideal spot for families with young children. The 1/4 mile walking path around the field is perfect for leisurely walks or taking your dog out for a stroll, and the tennis and pickleball courts are just a stone's throw away for those who enjoy sports. Inside the home, the kitchen is well-equipped, which was a huge bonus. I was able to prepare and cook a full Thanksgiving meal for my entire family without any issues. The kitchen has all the essentials you could need for cooking, and it made our holiday gathering so much easier and enjoyable. One tip: the host suggests bringing all your food items, which I highly recommend. We did not want to have to trek outside the neighborhood for pricey grocery items.

Here’s a suggestion for a five-star review: My family and I had an amazing stay. We evacuated from Hurricane Milton and Spencer was incredibly accommodating. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us to check in. Spencer was very responsive and quick to answer any questions, making the entire process smooth. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow, which made check-in and navigating the space a breeze. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

House was great! Perfect for my wife and I. Easy to get to downtown from the house. Short drives but feel "away" from it all. Coco was so sweet! Hopefully he'll have a another goat friend to keep him company down the road.

This house is located in a tranquil community that offers hiking trails and many water activities. My family enjoyed the hikes, deer sightings, water bikes, and hot tub the most.

The house was very clean and beautifully decorated and renovated. The communication was clear and we knew what to expect. The location is good to go to the Orchards and Burt pumpkin farm. It was a great trip!

We had an amazing stay this weekend! Such a beautiful home. We really enjoyed the short walk down to the dock and the amazing lake view. The home was extremely clean and well supplied. Good location too! Everything was so close like the outlets and restaurants! Host was extremely helpful and made our check in and stay super easy! 15/10 would recommend!! We had a wonderful stay at Bill's Lake House. It was a peaceful slice of heaven in a nature setting. We had deer visit both morning and night and entertainment from squirrels and a variety of birds. Bill and Pat are just lovely and excellent hosts. We enjoyed getting to know them very much and hope to see them again. The house was perfect - lovely layout, very welcoming and comfortable in every aspect. And they thought of everything! We enjoyed the lake - kayaking and just floating in the water. Bill suggested restaurants and things to do that were very helpful. Most definitely one of the very best getaway vacations we have had! Huge thank you to Bill and Pat
