Staying at Cinnamon EcoLodge was the best experience in Vietnam so far. Staying in the middle of nature, surrounded by Cinnamon trees, rice fields, a mountain village, and animals was so peaceful. I also really enjoyed the home cooked dinners with Gioi and his whole family, they were so welcoming and made me feel at home. A few other highlights were the local market, the walk/hike through the village, and learning how to harvest cinnamon. It‘s very close to Sapa, but away from all the tourists. Big thanks to Gioi and his whole family. They also helped with organizing transportation. I can totally recommend staying there if you’re looking for tranquility and a local Vietnamese experience in nature.

Our stay at Cinnamon Ecolodge was the highlight of our trip in Vietnam. More than just a place to stay, it was a total experience. As a part of our honeymoon, we were looking for a home base to explore the northern mountains and culture of Vietnam, while avoiding some of the more touristy areas. Cinnamon Ecolodge was exactly what we were looking for and so much more… We were absolutely blown away by the hospitality that Gioi and Hue showed us, as well as the genuine warmth and friendliness of the people living in the region. During our stay, we went on multiple treks, a cinnamon harvest tour and two local markets, all of which Gioi helped to coordinate, making it very seamless and easy on us! The lodge itself, is beautiful and serene with panoramic Mountain Views, gardens and cinnamon tree forests (farmed by the family). We enjoyed all the modern comforts and lots of comfy hangout spots. To top it off, the food was amazing and sourced from the farm. Needless to say, we highly recommend

The Xoi Farmstay was far and out the highlight of our month in Vietnam. Quoc and his family made us feel very comfortable and apart of the family. Eating home cooked meals (feasts) with the family was incredible at the end of every day. The home we stayed in was just so beautiful, and very clean. It was so fantastic that we want to come back to Vietnam just to see our new friends/family in Lam Thuong again. Couldn’t recommend more!
