We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful, with lovely large garden and good sized pool. The location is very peaceful, but close to the A20 for easy access around the area.

Have a great weekend in the countryside with the family. Excellent welcome from Peter flexible on the schedules that allowed us not to leave as we wanted in the early afternoon. A cake was waiting for us when we arrived. The wood burning stove was nice given the bad weather. Great time to play in the barn: billiards, darts... Very good bedding. Just be careful with the stairs whose steps are not wide but once you don't have a problem. I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

We chose Janine and Mario’s cottage for our 4 week stay as we didn’t know the area and thought we’d like to try Limousin. We chose Janailhac only because it has a depot de pain and a small bar restaurant (both very welcoming)! In reality it far exceeded our hopes. Janine and Mario are great, friendly, kind and supportive hosts who are determined to give their visitors the best possible stay. They provided lots of helpful information about the many interesting and historic villages and restaurants and markets largely within a 25 mile radius so plenty of places to visit. Janailhac is a tiny, pretty, friendly farming village of beautiful rolling fields (and a SuperU at 4 miles). Quiet nights and clean air meant we slept better than in years. The cottage is large and comfortable with a pellet boiler heating system so we were never chilly plus a large open fire place and 2 great hot showers. Well stocked for children with toys, high chair, cot and even a buggy. Highly recommended!

Great house for 2 families, perfect for what we wanted. Lots of seating areas, kitchen was really well equipped. Pool and hot tub awesome. Nearby lake is good for beach and water sports. Hosts were great and gave good recommendation for a food festival in a nearby town. The house is in a very peaceful location, surrounded by countryside, which was great most of the time but if you want restaurants or activities it’s a drive. I would recommend the house though as it’s really well set up for a week with friends or family.

We had a great time at Jessica's home. First time since I've been on airbnb that I've noticed that the house was remarkably clean, the house smelled so good. Congratulations to you!!! It feels like home. The rooms are perfect (bedding, storage, electric shutters). The garden is large and the terrace is nice. The house is 10 minutes from Gueret, in a very quiet location. Everything was so perfect that it deserves all the stars. The plus, the ping pong table in the garage, we played there every morning! We'll be happy to go back! Thank you!

We just loved our stay. The place is even more beautiful than in the photos, tastefully decorated, clean and perfectly equipped. The calm, comfort and natural environment (special mention to the surrounding countryside!) made our getaway really enjoyable. Anaïs was warm and made herself available to answer our questions. Place is good. Beautiful a river flowing through property private fibre boat which is unique. Lots of things to do.

Welcoming and super responsive host, accommodation perfectly matches descriptions and photos, I recommend it without so much as a second thought. The place is very peaceful, we spent a little less than a week with my wife and our two children in a little paradise, super well-equipped accommodation, a large well-secured swimming pool, ideal villa for couples alone or with children.
