Cabin vacation rentals in Petersburg

This cabin was perfect for us to have a relaxing weekend away. It was just secluded enough to be able to relax and enjoy the breathtaking mountain views. The quaint little town was close with a few restaurants and a grocery. The kitchen was very well equipped for us to be able to stay in and cook.

Host was great and very helpful. Place was beautiful and the game room was great. However the cleaner (i’m assuming) was very rude to us when we showed up just a little early. I understand she needs time to finish prep, but there was no reason to start out by yelling and cursing at us. This is not a reflection of the host or the cabin, which were both amazing, but I feel it’s something that should come to attention.

I can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the Super hosts that made sure every detail of our stay was comfortable!! We drove 14hrs to stay here and when we parked and stepped out on the property you can hear the soothing sound of the running stream surrounding the property, they had the hot tub turned on and every bit of this place was spotless and cozy!! They did not leave anything out. First time I’ve ever rated an air bnb stay but this place was well deserving of praise.

Thank you so much Marissa for such a wonderful stay! We were really comfortable in the cabin and we loved how peaceful and quiet it was. It had everything we needed and we appreciated the extra blankets and towels. Marissa was really helpful in answering our questions and giving us directions to the cabin. It snowed heavily during our stay and the cabin owners came by to clear the snow from the mountain and the driveway. It was definitely the vacation we needed! We plan on staying here again!

Overall this is a great place to stay with your family for a good adventure. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating to your needs. There is everything you could possibly need at this property to make your vacation worthwhile!

Phenomenal cabin with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The house has a wonderful kitchen, luxurious bathrooms a huge hot tub, great pool table and comfortable bedrooms/beds. My family had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this Airbnb and host.

We loved staying here! The location was easy to get to, very peaceful, and Derek was very communicative. The hot tub by the bedroom door was extremely convenient. It snowed while we were there so we didn’t get to check out the area, but Derek made sure the road was plowed so that we could get our after our check out time (and even gave us a flexible check out). Think about a 4-wheel or AWD in the winter months if that’s when you’re traveling. We’d definitely visit again!

It was a wonderful cabin for a peaceful weekend getaway. The views were excellent, and it was warm and cozy inside even during some especially cold weather.

My family loved our stay at this beautiful cabin. Loved all of the amenities--hot tub, enclosed deck (w/swing!), fire pit, record player, etc. Just a lovely place to get away. Additionally, when rough weather came in (ie blizzard!), Amelia was beyond accommodating and extended our check out time in order to ensure our safety on the roads. Much appreciated. Thanks Amelia! This was a perfect weekend getaway with our pup. He loved running through the yard and the 3 acres being fenced was great! Christine and Donna were very responsive throughout our stay and it was a very well stocked house. We can’t wait to stay here again in the future!

My girlfriend and I throughly enjoyed all the special amenities of the Blackpearl. The house was small, but provided everything we needed for my surprise birthday getaway. They provided kitchen utensils plus coffee, linen was clean & hot tub towels were some perks. My only wish was that we stayed longer to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub on these cold nights! Local wineries & breweries plus several caverns to check out, this little area is a gem! Truly the best birthday ever!!!

we loved our stay here! The house was a cozy, with plenty of space for us and our two kids. The board games were a hit! Location was perfect- easy 10 minutes to Timberline, 5 minutes to Davis. Laura was a great host- super responsive and even quickly took care of mailing us something we left behind! we'll definitely stay here again

What a fantastic place with a great host. Micheal reached out proactively to ensured we had the best experience. The place itself is super cozy and has everything you need, the ski resorts are all 10-15mjn drive away and trails are as close as 5min. Would definitely stay again!

I very much enjoyed my stay here while visiting Virginia. The location was very peaceful with its surrounding areas and views. The host (Su) was very responsive and friendly as well, they made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our stay. Would stay here again in the future.

Cathy was a wonderful host! She provided a bottle of local wine during our stay. She was consistently responsive and friendly in our communications. The place was so cozy would highly recommend!

This is the second time in as many years that we have stayed at the cabin and as with the first time it was just as wonderful. We were joined on our trip by our two Scottish Terrier fur kids and being pet friendly is a definite plus. The cabin is just as described, maybe even better. The term cabin conjures up visions of rustic and minimal amenities which is just the opposite of what this home presents. Modern touches all around from the electric fireplace, widescreen TV, gourmet kitchen, spotless bedrooms and bathrooms, screened porch and hot tub. All the modern features you could want. We again spend 5 nights and as with the first time when we parked the vehicle, we did not move it again until we checked out. With us being in stressful public service careers, just being away from it all is the most relaxing thing you can get. Lindsey is very responsive and professional. We tried another place last year, but it was nothing like the cabin. We will be back again! Pete and Janet

We really enjoyed the cozy cottage. The surrandings were beautiful. The hot tub was a great addition. Nice size and very clean. The cottage is a great place for a family get away. I will return. Thankyou so much for wverything.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great post Christmas trip to the region. We actually felt the photos didn't do it justice and it's a little cuter and nicer than we were expecting!

We loved our stay in Cabin #2! What a wonderfully constructed off-grid cabin in the beautiful mountains of WV. Pansy & her husband were extremely kind & helpful, and the property itself is gorgeous and massive…allowing the cabin to feel secluded and remote. The cabin was cozy & perfect for 2, especially if you are planning on spending most time outdoors (as we were). The hiking in the area is amazing! We cannot wait to return and look forward to booking this cabin again!

The place was nice and quiet. For someone looking to camp out, but without the tent experience, it was perfect.
