It was a great space for 1 or two people. Really enjoyed the layout and it was very quiet and private. Adele was very quick to respond and was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Beautiful unit, very clean and spacious. Loved the ceiling height and heated bathroom floor. Our party was there for a wedding at Whispering Springs which is about a 5-minute walk to the main parking lot.

I love Sue's place! Every time I am visiting the area, this is my first place to check for availability. Sue has a lovely apartment located right next to Lock 18, which can be enjoyed privately from the large deck or up close just a few steps away. Hastiings is a friendly town that is wonderful to walk around (both sides of the bridge), checking out the shops, having coffee from the local cafes, and in the evenings heading across the street to McGillicafey's Pub. Sue's place is quite, centrally located, and comfortable. I am already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you Sue!!

We met Patti and Dennis upon our arrival. They welcomed us warmly, and gave us some general info. Dennis helped us bring in our food and luggage, and came in and helped us set up the fire and how to use the tv. Everything was exactly as described. We made all our meals in the unit and everything we needed was available to us. We met Patti and Dennis outside on both mornings and had lovely chats with them. They were both available when we needed assistance and were very quick to respond, but were never intrusive. Our dogs absolutely loved walking through the property and the woods with us. We hope to visit them again sometime in the summer to enjoy all that Stoney Lake, and the Irwin Inn, had to offer.

Susan’s place is a gem. It has a great vibe, is well located, and is very clean. Susan is a thoughtful and accommodating host. The beverages on offer were generous and the fresh cut flowers in the bathroom were a lovely touch. We would happily stay here again on our next trip to Port Hope and recommend this stay to other guests.

Another amazing stay. My family and I were so happy we could stay at this location again and we loved it as much as we did the first time. Beautiful location, responsive and helpful hosts. Definitely a preferred location for all of us.

We had a great night at hidden retreat! David was so welcoming, friendly and easy to communicate with. The rooms were great and the property is beautiful. We enjoyed time around the pool, using the hot tub and sitting around the fire at night. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Our stay at this place was an absolutely incredible retreat! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The hosts went above and beyond to make our anniversary special, providing personalized recommendations for dinner spots and even helping us create a memorable late-night bonfire experience. The property was really clean and maintained well, with stunning lake views that took our breath away. As much as we wanted to use the canoes and kayaks, it was really cold and windy but they were available making it perfect for both winter and summer getaways. What truly made our stay exceptional was the hosts' hospitality. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring we felt right at home and had everything we needed. This was truly an unforgettable experience! We cannot recommend this place enough and are already looking forward to returning. A well-deserved 5-star rating for an incredible, peaceful escape from the city!

For our purposes, ( that Toni is aware of) we couldn't have found a nicer setup. You can walk to all local amenities, food, refreshments (😁) and a very nice Theatre that puts on live productions.

lovely quest house that was perfect for my girls weekend trip for new years! Paul had decorated the place all festive for us as well as making us a personal welcome sign! the place was great for cooking and watching movies all together.

One of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed at! The wood stove, the comfy beds, sipping my morning coffee while looking at the beautiful view. We had the most wonderful anniversary weekend at Wind in the Willow! From the moment we arrived, everything was met with such care and attention to detail. Toad gave us a detailed rundown of the place, making sure we felt right at home. It was clear that a lot of thought went into making this a special experience. The cabin was incredibly clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Every little touch made the space feel warm and inviting. We were even provided with a thoughtful breakfast, which was such a lovely surprise. We spent the weekend relaxing, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, and really soaking in the charm of the place. We can’t wait to return in the summer and enjoy this serene spot again. Highly recommend Wind in the Willow for anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable, and memorable getaway!

Amelia and Fred’s place is a genuine ‘5-star’ apartment! There is nothing that the apartment needs - it’s new, clean, well furnished, modern. The location of the stay is in an establish neighborhood, near a super Walmart, fast food & casual restaurants, gym. Very easy to recommend for short or longer stays.

Extremely spacious and comfortable space. One of the very few Airbnbs I’ve stayed in that not only matched but was more spacious than the pictures looked. Jasmin was an excellent host always very quick and detailed responses. Would absolutely recommend if you’re visiting themea spa or just looking to stay in Whitby!
