The perfect getaway retreat!! My girlfriend and I had a splendid time at the owl house, which I gotta say is a work of art nestled in the beautiful landscape of Pennsylvania, would definitely recommend and would love to be back at this peaceful house in the future. The view at this house was incredible and worth every penny! It is in a great location in the sense that you can have some privacy but also be near some fun places. The house was very cozy we felt right at home!

A lovely place close to everything Carlisle had to offer. Rooms were clean and comfy. Really appreciated the listing matching the place. Also was very happy that our pups could stay with us without a lot of extra fees and rules. Would definitely recommend!!

Walt's place was located in a very nice area, quiet and safe. I was thrown by the street parking just because I have never lived in the city. Yet it worked out just fine. I loved the interior and unfortunately was not able to really experience all that was around due to a short trip and other circumstances. I will book again and hopefully have more time to enjoy the place and location. I have stayed in multiple airbnb or vrbo in the Carlisle area. For price and downtown location this place is very nice and also priced very well. Walt was very responsive as well and again, I had several unique situations during my stay so I did have to communicate with him often. Thank you, Walt for you patience and responsiveness.

A charming place- watch your head on some of those low spots! Otherwise a great cabin- It's was rainy/snowy so I didn't use the firepit although it looked enticing!

Could not say enough of how great a place it was for a large group! I will use it again!

My overnight visit was a pleasure in every way. The accommodations were cozy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is great; an easy walk into downtown, which is worth taking the time to explore. If you enjoy a good tavern/microbrewery with an outstanding beer list, I recommend the Market Cross Pub (props to Gregg & Erin for the suggestion). As for communication, every message I sent was followed by a prompt, helpful response. I’d definitely stay there again.

We’re an older couple and we need a couple things to be just right. The accommodations were as described , the bed was comfortable, building was quiet. We felt safe in the neighborhood & could easily walk around to various restaurants.

Marjorie was attentive and knowledgeable. She was friendly and made sure to remind me about local things happening that I could participate in during my stay. There were a lot of friendly touches in her home including extra towels, blankets, and dishware I might have needed.

David's place was just as described: clean, convenient 2 bedroom apartment with all the amenities we were looking for. Welcomed our 4 legged friend without question as well! Would definitely stay here again. David was super quick to respond prior to and during the booking-even in a different time zone I got a reply within minutes!

The Finney House is my preferred home away from home when visiting Central PA. I stayed there in July and again in September and both visits were pleasant. The house and grounds are beautiful. I stayed in Apt. 105 both visits. It is well-appointed. The bed is so comfortable and I loved cooking in their kitchen. Looking forward to another opportunity to visit again.

Kayla's place was a wonderful rest of our way north. The street was crowded and parking wa difficult due to our moving truck needing more space, but I spoke with Kayla about his first and was able to find some parking a block or so away. Very safe neighborhood and lovely place. The beds were so comfortable--far superior to any hotel. We had a warm place, very hot water, and well-lit rooms. Such a wonderfu,l sweet place to stay for the night. We would definitely stay again for a night.

There are not enough words of praise to describe our experience with Barb and Greg! The property, communication, amenities, charm, were beyond our expectation! If you are looking for a peaceful, incredibly creative space to spend your time and you also enjoy paddling around a pond and a bunch of friendly swans and ducks this is the place for you. We also received upon our arrival a lovely handwritten note and beautiful hand made soap. Locally we ate at Mama's Italian restuarant and Kingdom Grounds Cafe. Fabulous food and service! We look forward to staying at Barb and Greg's place again. Thank you for the perfect place to stay and reminisce about our son.
