Apartment vacation rentals in Perai

It’s pretty convenient to get around, just 10-15 minutes drive to get to all the makan makan places. Comfortable and spacious rooms. However do take note that there’s quite a waiting time from 10-11am for the lifts as the checkout states at 11am. Other than that, it’s all good.

Recommended place to stay compared to other homestay that I booked before.. smooth check in with smart lock (no keys needed) which is the best for group travellers.. there's no lift so its a bit hustle if u have big luggage to bring up/down the stairs.. anyway will definitely stay here again on my next visit 👌🏻

Great place to stay with everything we needed! Great location to explore Georgetown and the surrounding area! Charles was extremely friendly and responsive and always on hand to help with anything we needed!

It was a nice stay. Convenience and good facility. Just that the car park is a real hindrance for future stay. And also the slight inconvenience of the clogged basin and toilet bowl.😅 but thanks and appreciate for the prompt action in getting that rectified.

The house is super clean and was comfortable for all my family members . Highly recommended for family stay. Communication with the host was excellent, and he was incredibly friendly. A wonderful experience overall! Thank you for everything and will definitely come again.

Amazing place to stay with your friends, many places to eat within walking distance and the place itself was superb in its cleanliness, size, design and amenities to accommodate 6 people. The Host himself, Soon Lye, was one of the best hosts I have ever had the pleasure of booking from, with his thoughtfulness in gauging our time of arrival, being there and helping us check-in, recommendation of local landmarks and restaurants, as well as being extremely kind and lenient in our check-in and check-out situation. I would most definitely recommend others to book here and will be returning if I come visit Penang again.

Our apartment was spotlessly clean, very modern, light and airy. Excellent security. Great location on the beach, close to restaurants and the night time street market. Perfect place to stay to visit Penang. Pool area very clean. However there were only 8 sun loungers for the 5 or 6 blocks of apartments which was not nearly enough. Very difficult to get a comfortable area to sit at the pool. Also not allowed to move any of the chairs in the shaded area into the sun if you were unable to get a sun lounger which was often the case. Our apartment only had two chairs on the larger balcony too, despite the apartment being for the four of us. Upon check in , our host had given away our apartment to another family who had complained about theirs. This was very upsetting as my teenage boy and girl were being given a double room to share instead of the twin room I had booked. When we explained that this was an issue, our host Rahim, provided an inflatable camping mattress on the floor for my son. This was completely unsuitable for our 6 night stay. Rahim promised that he would be able to get us a sofa bed but only in 2 days time. I asked him for a discount on our payment for the inconvenience and he refused. My son was provided with a sofa bed for the last 4 days of our 6 night holiday. It was also very uncomfortable as it had a full length metal bar down the middle of the bed. It was however more acceptable than an inflatable floor mattress. Rahim did his best to try to make amends but to be honest our original booked apartment should never have been given away in the first place. Very disappointing. It would also have been helpful to have been supplied with another room key. As there were four of us it meant we all had to go everywhere together at the same time as the key was needed for entry into any of the doors. This did not suit at all with having teenage children who often sleep late. If you were at the pool and one person went back to the room, the rest of the family couldn't enter the building to go the room ( bad news if you needed the loo ! ) until the first person came back. Security was very good but an extra key was a necessity.

I stayed here for almost a month and I really liked the place. super easy to go the groceries on the basement floor and plenty of restaurants and gyms in the area. within walking distance of several malls and public transport right outside. only comment is the power outlets in the apartment aren't conveniently located but that's easy to work around

An absolutely amazing stay at Straits Quay in Penang! The apartment was spotlessly clean, with modern amenities that made us feel right at home. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking yacht view—waking up to that serene sight every morning was such a treat. The location is perfect, with cafes and shops nearby, yet it remains peaceful and relaxing. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring our stay was seamless from start to finish. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Penang. We can't wait to come back!

Nikky is a charming caring host. Every consideration in fitting out this well equipped apartment. All of our needs were anticipated. Great kitchen, clean linen and towels provided. Fluffy pillows the apartment was decorated beautifully. Wonderful peaceful balcony overlooking the tennis court and pool, away from the noisy night clubs. The apartment is really big and like in the pictures, three bedrooms and two bathrooms, day area huge too, with nice balcony. The beach is close and the swimming pool is nice with a kids area. You can take grab to move around or the bus that is connected to George town. The electricity bill is to pay out of the price if you use air conditioning, but honestly there was no need, just keep the windows open. The only flaw is the smell in the house I imagine due to being close for a long time, would be nice a deep clean. Overall a good solution to stay in the peace out of the city!

Extremely friendly host with sincere warm hospitality that makes your stay at this location a deeper heartwarming memory than the country visit. Besides being convenient, the entire unit is extremely clean (automatically "install" that guilt in you to mess/dirty it). *Tip: contact the host before booking so every arrangements will be smoother than you can ever imagine*

This one is one of our new favourite in penang, we stayed as a family of 6 with baby, super clean and host is being super prompt is definitely worth this review. The unit is of higher floor, the seaview is amazing with a closeup of straits quay mall. The house is spacious with good touch of furnitures, and with the coway dispenser, it definitely makes our stay better. Kudos to the team for putting up such a nice place. Will come again next time.

We had an amazing stay at Hoon’s place! The most important is we feel safe staying here. The apartment was spacious, and the bed was enough for 3 of us n comfy. WiFi is provides, which is a bonus. I felt right at home and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and clean place to stay!
