This barn conversion was absolutely stunning, so spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We came for a few days to do nothing and relax and the barn absolutely made that easy, we didn't want to leave. We had a lovely afternoon in the hot tub followed by a beautiful meal at a local Italian. We also had Sunday lunch at the foxham inn which was one of the best roast dinners we've had, highly recommend. We will definitely be returning to this barn it's hime from home and Katrina was an amazing host, so thoughtful and welcoming. She really couldn't do any more for us. highly recommend 👌

Victoria’s house was beautiful, and perfect for our 2 families (8 people in total!) The wood burner was a lovely addition in the cold evenings. Bedrooms were an ideal layout for us and having 3 bathrooms was great and extremely helpful. The kitchen was stunning with fully equipped cupboards with everything needed. Very detailed information on house rules and expectations. Victoria was a perfect host and was very responsive to any questions. I didn’t have any issues for her to resolve as the house was perfect. The location was great for us as all the outings we had planned were a car drive away, we did go on a walk that was detailed in the information folder that was in the house, it was a lovely 2hrs in the countryside and something we wouldn’t have known had Victoria not put it in there. The local pub which is as 1 min walk did a lovely meal and Sunday roast. I would highly recommend this property, and Victoria as a host was amazing.

Very nice little cottage near the water, has a fun hot tub out back which even in cold weather is nice to have. Really nice place, had some old timey appliances and other charms that made it a really fun stay. Only drawbacks were not having a washer / dryer for clothes, the beams between some rooms are 5'8" and me being taller banged my head on them a few times, also the stairs to the upstairs had this really cool piece of history with the banister however very difficult to navigate. None of these would stop me from renting this place again, I highly recommend this cottage if you are looking for an authentic stay in a very nice and cozy British Cottage. Host was awesome, and it was great value for the price.

Spent a lovely Xmas here. Cosy old railway cottage in a lovely and peaceful village. The kitchen/diner is a lovely room and ideal for entertaining. Can imagine that in the summer the back garden would be a lovely place to unwind. Great also to have visitor parking. Felt very homely and also dog friendly, ours was very impressed with the dog toy collection!

Very happy with our New Year stay. The house was modern and comfortable and there was plenty of space for six adults and two teenagers. The location was peaceful and calm and it was great to be able to walk into the village centre for shops and cafes.

Property is excellent and it is our second year in a year returning here. The house is spotless, very well furnished and has everything you could need for a stay. It’s very peaceful, large garden and a beautiful river view. Paul is very friendly and responsive by message and I look forward to staying again next year!

We had such a fantastic time here. What a great place! Mel and her family have created a wonderful space for wildlife, bees, sheep and people in need of some time in nature. Sitting outside the tent on the decking watching the moon rise over the trees... seeing a red tailed kite flying overhead hunting... sitting around the fire by candle light chatting with my family... this beautiful space created just what I was needing. Thank you Mel! The tent was great. Mel has made a cosy, comfy haven with loads of character. It is a tent so it's noisy in the wind, as you would expect. Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise when sleeping. The wood burning stove made the place lovely and toasty at night. We were there in September so the evenings were chilly. I'd go to bed wearing lots of layers but with the warm duvets I always ended up peeling off layers when the bed warmed up. If there is any way we came come back to the area again we'll be staying here for sure.

This is a lovely place. We were very happy with the location, there is a convenience store very close, and it is well stocked. The view is beautiful-we walked to restaurants- internet is fast, shower works great. Warm heated floors. There were no paper towels, but there was towels for dishes and counters, and salt n pepper, and the thing we most appreciated was the coffee pods they provided-we thoroughly enjoyed this place, and we will stay again as this is a main cruise port.
